Hi guys,

Im in the process of buying a used family suv.

I am struggling to make up my mind.

Option 1: Used 2019 Tahoe with less than 8k Miles. ( LT trim)

Option 2: 2015 lexus LX with about 43k miles.

Option 3: 2015 Toyota land cruiser with 31k miles

The tahoe is like new but I want an SUV I can keep for at least 7 -8 years with no problems and stiil run great.

Obviously the LX and the LC built quality is better and made to last for ever but they are already older cars.

Any ones opinion will be nice!

Thanks!

Any of them should be fine for 7 years. So get whichever one you like the best and feel best about the deal.

Maybe think out of the box and get a minivan. SUVs command a premium price so you might save some money getting a less trendy vehicle. Toyota Sienna or Chrysler Pacifica are two that come to mind.

    Thank you for your comment!

The thing is, I leave in dominican republic and its more practical to have a more rugged vehicle which will be more practical.

A minivan would have no problems on the day to day but on a high way a I feel like this vehicles would be safer.

    Thank you very much.

What if the desire working life I want is over 10 years, would that change your opinio?

I need something that can also take harsh roads and maybe in the future when Im done with it can be driven by a " driver" who will take kids to school and run errands. This person will not take such good care of the vehicle. ( Im not rich, I leave in Dominican republic where this is very affordable and very common)

For long term durability, it's hard to beat a Toyota product. I'd pick that Land Cruiser or the Lexus
