Need a new engine at 81k miles

Hi all,
I bought my 2010 Chrysler Sebring 2.7 convertible/touring used, at 81k miles. I drove it for 13 months and it was great. I just had an oil change, drove it back home and it was clattering like crazy. The sound was strongest at the passenger front of the engine. Took it back to the dealer. They removed the valve cover and saw metal shavings. Based on that, they advised me that I need a new engine.
I would be happy to hear any good advice/opinions on this matter-
Thanks so much,
Ted
