Good price?
I'm in New Orleans, and have negotiated from the asking price of $3950 to $3450 from a small, one person, used car dealer lot. That is pending the inspection doesn't come up with anything too significant. That's about $250 above the very highest dealer price I found, which was from KBB, and about $1000 over what edmunds and NADA appraise.
The other thing is the dealer says there are no other costs other than the agreed price, and that he includes the temp tags $200 cost. I come to find out after negotiating the above price, the best I can tell, the dealers pay about $100 for 25 temp plates. So, his cost for that, unless I'm missing something, is obviously not $200.
What do you think about the negotiated price, and if it makes sense to say anything about the temp tag cost at this point?
Thank you!
