What MF are they using?

$950/mo with $14K equity? You realize that works out to a gross payment of almost $1350/mo?

What is your location?

We don't have any programs for the 2022 GLS, this month.

The 14K is positive equity from my current lease that will be traded in at time of delivery for the 2022 GLS. Sry if it was worded wrong. NYC. Yes, this quote was from a dealership. But they will not tell me the MF they are using.

Given that we don't have any programs, I do wonder what the dealer is using. Could be a local bank or CU, I suppose.

That may be true, but how many 2022 GLS' have they leased so early in the model year?

A dealer I am working with told me the program is .56 residual and .0021 MF on a 36/10 program. No incentives. I feel that interest rate is high at nearly 5%. Would it be better to buy assuming I could get a much lower interest rate?

They should be using MBFS. $2220 of that positive equity is actually 3 payments of $740 being waved for going into another MB lease….. once again as per the dealership (for what that is worth).

When I use the lease calculator, those numbers are only obtainable with a .0015 MF.

If you only want the car for three to four years, you'll probably be better off leasing. If it's a car you want to own, then you should purchase it.

Also, you might be surprised at new car loan rates.

Dealer markup accounts for the high MF you are seeing.

48mos/12k miles per year

And for 15k miles per year (is it just +.02 added to 12k residuals)?

If you are Tier 1, then yes, they've marked up the rate.
No, the info is dealer confidential. MBFS won't discuss it with you.
