The MF on 2021 models used to be almost 0 (like 0.00001). This new rate equates to 5.8% interest which when combined with the 48% residual and no lease incentive means the Arteon SEL-P R-line will likely lease for over $800/month with 0 DAS. Not attractive at all. I think they will bring back incentives as the cars sit on dealer lots.

VW moved 47 Arteons from January to May. I don't think there were many on the lots to begin with.

MF is up, for almost all brands.

NOW it makes sense! Ha! Really bad lease program..... I remember getting a walk-out lease on my 2015 CC R-Line for just over $400 a month... Those were the good old days.

Also, I did a test of the Edmunds lease calculator and it auto filled those exact numbers (+1% for 10k because they don’t do 7.5k). So good to know.

A dealer is willing to deal now that the car I like has been sitting on their lot for 3+ months but not sure I can get there by Oct 3 as it's 2 hrs away.

Are there cash incentives to the dealer for finance and straight cash purchase as well? A sales manager is trying to pocket the $2000 by saying his original quote included that even when I never mentioned a lease on the original inquiry.

Thanks for the help. I was finally able to make a lease deal on Halloween night for a Premium White Pearl with Raven/Mistral leather (MSRP $53274 with VW care and most available port options) for $7100 under MSRP including the $2000 with the proper MF, residual and no dealer add-ons.

With just under $2000 in trade equity the payment is $649 before tax for 39/7.5k
