This was my first offer, as there are so few GTs available anywhere. They refuse to budge at all on the selling price.

Low inventory gives dealers the advantage. Not much you can do about it.

$700+/mo for a $37K MSRP is an insanely bad offer. You could likely lease a 3-series for that payment.
