OR
Are you a recent EV buyer (past 3 months) as a result of manufacturer incentives and dealer discounts on these vehicles, including year-end deals? Were you convinced to buy an EV after finding a good end-of-year deal, or due to uncertainty around which EVs will no longer qualify for full/partial EV tax credits in 2024? Engine usdm or jdm

I have a 2008 outback 2.5i and the sticker says made in usa.

Trying to replace the engine but unsure what's a good option. It's a usdm car with original engine but unsure if the engine would be a jdm. The engine is federal emissions and has avls

On the parts site it lists the two engines that goes in the car

Anytime uncertainty like this comes into play, the best option is to have the dealer parts department look the component up using the VIN and have them give you the pricing and the part number. Once you have the part number matching up the proper replacement will be a lot easier.
