I'm about $10/mo less than that quote, so certainly in the ballpark.

A cap cost higher than MSRP and the high MF are not helping.

They literally gave me like three quotes. Original one I got last month was $507 incl tax with $1000 down. The rates didn't change so I'm assuming they're padding it. Almost $2k between front and back end gross.

Did you not negotiate the price when you placed the order? If not, I can't say I'm surprised that they are doing this - I'm sure they could sell the car 5x over to someone else.

I did - quote @MSRP was $507 including tax and a caveat that if rates changed, the payment would which is understandable. Except it didn't. Called the manager to have them help out. I saved our message thread. I'll report back on the deal unless it falls through.

If this was pre-pandemic, it would be polar opposite, sheesh.

@Michaell they came back and did $507 including pre-paid maintenance and a slight discount on the MSRP. Not a bad deal, but I might cancel the maintenance. Appreciate your help as always!

Yes. I was bummed when they gave me the first pencil to confirm the numbers we talked about last month, but it worked out.

I encourage everyone to negotiate everything in writing before running credit or anything.

I got this sorted out and was in and out of the dealer in 30 mins curb to leaving the lot!
