My 2005 dakota headlight go out while I am driving I have changed switch 3 time they usually last a year but the last only few months sometime if I move the switch back and fore they come back or if I hold switch. If someone know the fix or if this weak spot in the lighting I would appreciate your help
Thank you

The headlight switch is a command input to the instrument cluster which then tells the intelligent power module (part of the under hood fuse block assembly) to turn the lamps on. You really need to use an appropriate scan tool to assist with the diagnostics. It's likely there is a failure occurring with the intelligent power module, but that is not the only possibility.
