Residual Value different from the Dealer
Hello,
Through Edmunds I was getting a residual value of 54% for a XC40 Recharge Pure Electric Core. I wanted to confirm this.
I'm in AZ looking at a 12k mile/year 36 month lease. I'm negotiating with them at the moment and I was working under the assumption that the residual value is 54%. They told me no it's 49%.
When I first started talking to them, they gave me 54%, but we were talking about C40 Recharge.
They are basically the same car, why would there be a 5% difference in residual value?
If the dealer is wrong, what do I point to to let them know they are wrong?

54% for 36/12 on C40 Core
49% for 36/12 on XC40 Core
Lower residual means they'll get more money for the payment on the SUV.

Both have a $7500 EV bonus, and the XC40 also has a $2000 lease bonus (dealer cash)
