Volvo XC70 Reseting message display

Can anyone tell me how to reset the message display on my 2004 xc70? I have a local garage change the oil and they claim they can't reset the service reminder display. I vaguely recall someone saying that you set your ignition switch to a certain position and push some display button. Thanks, Mark

    suggest you pop into swedespeed and post there, probably get a quicker response.

    Try holding Trip 1 for 10-14 seconds. Then, release, and move to Trip 2. Hold Trip 2 for not more than 4 seconds. This should reset "service" light. My mechanic found this out, and wrote it down for me.
