Kia with warranty to replace out of warranty BMW?

Considering getting a low miles 2023 Telluride with a lot of warranty left to replace a 2016 BMW X1 that is out of warranty. Thoughts on risk/reward and maintenance costs in doing this would be great. Really just looking to justify the purchase, of course! TIA

    Are you making payments on the X1? If not, then it might be better to keep it and pay the maintenance and repairs as you go, rather than starting over with a new set of (likely higher) payments on the Kia.

    But, I've known people who have traded in cars for many different reasons, not all of them logical to the general public.
