I was hoping to get an opinion on the following lease deal.

2024 A5 premium plus sportback with nav, convenience and 19" Cavo wheels, MSRP 55,790. They mentioned 2500 cash back and an additional 1500 off MSRP, plus they've asked for 2K down for cap cost reduction (which I don't love) on top of first month plus fees.

The lease terms:
36 months
18K per year
lease in NY but register in CT

The payment is 962/month, including Audi Care. 954 w/o Audi Care. There is apparently a discount for a Costco membership. He said 30 / month

I have 4 months left on a current lease on another A5 at 820/month, which they said they would cut me a check to cover.

Is the 399 for nitrogen required?

If they are cutting you a check for $3300, then that tells you the car could be that much cheaper.

I'd wait 4 months, then make the same deal, when my lease was up.

Thank you. Only point i failed to add, is I am already over mileage. I have a long commute. I'll probably be 10k over when lease ends. I think it was 25 cents a mile.

Sorry, we gave you the wrong numbers

36/10: .00240 MF and 61% residual
39/10: .00260 MF and 59% residual

I don't know how your dealership came up with the numbers they gave you. The only thing I can think of is a local credit union lease. I'd ask who the leasing bank is.

I will say that if you are happy with the discount, then the calculations are correct, and I don't see any markups.

Except: It appears you are buying out of state? NY dealers won't have that huge doc fee, and $430 seems like a high license fee for NY. I'd question the NJ dealer about that.
