Crankshaft replacement - Golf diesel

Hi. I'm replacing my engine crankshaft and my new crankshaft is heavier. It is ok? What are the differences/advantages/disadvantages?
My car is a vw golf plus 5m1 1.9 tdi bls 2008 288000 km

    If there is a notable difference in weight then I suspect you have the wrong crankshaft.
