Bose sound system, rear speaker makes scratchy noise when bass is loud. How do I change this speaker? Where can find an original replacement ? How to access the speaker to remove?

You have to remove the rear seat base, the seat belt covers, the side bolsters, the quarter panel trim, and then the deck shelf to get to the speakers. You should be able to get a new speaker at the dealer of course, but if you get the part number from them you may be able to search and find it from other sources.

Once you have access to the speaker, visually inspect it for any visible damage, such as torn cones, damaged surrounds, or loose connections. Pay particular attention to the speaker cone and surround, as these are common areas where damage can occur. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for installing the replacement speaker. Ensure that all connections are secure and properly seated to prevent future issues.

If you're unsure about accessing or replacing the speaker yourself, consider consulting a professional technician or contacting Bose customer support for assistance. They can provide guidance on troubleshooting the issue and offer recommendations for repairs or replacements.
