Cavalier 150,000 miles

Yes my girlfriend found a private owner or well he owns a repair shop that is selling a Cavalier for 2,652.50 (which is pretty much right on target according to the blue book for a fair condition car). The car had 150,000 miles, and I am just wondering is it worth it or no? She's not going to be taking trips or anything with it, just something to get around town, and do what she needs to do. How long do these Chevrolet last before the repairs start puring in?

    Year would help a lot, but the last best Cavalier was the 1994, they went down hill after that.
