Hello, looking at a 2023 Porsche Taycan GTS in Dallas. The car stickers for ~$152,000 and dealer is reducing the sell price to $129,000. They are offering a 39 months lease (5,000 miles) per year at $1,598/month with $10,000 down. Its also included the $7,500 tax credit factored into the cap cost. Residual is quoted at $83,473. I'd like to crunch the lease #'s on this deal. What is the base money factor Porsche is providing on this type of lease?

Is the offer a good lease deal?

    .00370 MF and 54% residual
    $7500 incentive

Using the MSRP and selling prices provided, I calculate $1984/mo.

Is that $10K total out of pocket, or $10K down plus first payment, fees and taxes?

Hi Michael - thanks. On top of the $129,000 vehicle price is 6.25% sales tax and about $500 in dealer fee for a total price of $137,662.15. Then they are showing the 7,500 EV credit and 10,000 down (I suspect off the cap cost) for a reduced cap cost of $127,662.15. They tell me all that is due at signing is $10,000, which may include the 1st payment right? Please let me know how your payment re-calculates?

I wouldn't assume anything about how the $10K is used - I'd ask for a breakdown by the dealer. Where is the acquisition fee, for example? First payment? License and registration costs?

And - how does $137,xxx less $17,500 equal $127,xxx? Shouldn't it be closer to $120K?

Gotta get clarity on the numbers, so we can determine if the MF is being jacked up or not (my guess is that it is).
