Nissan Sentra Audio Questions

I bought a 2007 Sentra last week. Very happy with the car so far. My biggest complaint is with the radio displays and controls. I know these complaints are very minor, so that shows how happy I am with the car.

#1 When the CD playback is set to mix, using the "next" control will play the next sequential song not the next random song. If I were to buy the iPod control would it act the same way?

#2 When the name of the MP3 file is longer than the display it will scroll the remainder of the file name only once at the beginning of play. Does it also behave this way with the Sirius display or iPod display?

I plan on installing the Sirius receiver and antenna when they come off back order. Can I install both the iPod controller and the Sirius receiver?

i have a 2002 sentra xe that has developed a stereo problem.
Berfore I take it to nissan to have them diagnose the problem at a major expense can anyone tell me the procedure to remove the stereo so I can check for lose wires. I dont want to tear apart the dash as i need the car but i am tired of listening to A.M. radio only on a 1 hour commute
each way. Any help you can give me will be appreciated.
    Thank You in advance John

You might check with Crutchfield. If I'm not mistaken they tell you how to install replacement systems. You might be able to get some information from them.

I was thinking there may be some downloadable information, or at least that it would be worth looking for.

AM Talk Radio Rocks (but only half as far at night)! It's amazing how much more informed you will be from listening to talk radio. Don't count it out too soon.

open the storage bin on top of the dash. grasp the front edge firmly and pull forward. it will pop out. unplug the harness for the emergency flasher button. there are 6 screws located along the sides of the center console face plate. remove these screws to access the radio plugs.
