BMW X3 espresso brown interior

Is the Espresso brown interior a light brown or does it give a dark brown vibe? It appeared light-ish when I looked at a car on the lot but the sample in the showroom was much darker. I was thinking it was more of a deep chocolate brown but now not sure.
