Hello everyone, I’m here seeking advice for my 2007 Chevrolet Suburban LT 1500 5.3L FlexFuel. I’ve been experiencing an issue where the engine cranks but won’t start. The only way I can get it to start is by disconnecting the camshaft sensor. I’ve already replaced both the crankshaft and camshaft sensors, but the problem persists. Additionally, my scanner isn’t showing any codes. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

The information here isn't adding up. It might be sufficient to start testing and prove what is going on but is a bit misleading as presented. When you disconnect the camshaft sensor and attempt to start the engine, that should be generating a P0340 trouble code. What kind of a scan tool are you using, can it display data? I would want to see the camshaft and crankshaft sensor counters and the cam/crank sync data. When this won't start do you hear the fuel pump turning on when you crank the engine? Have you checked for spark and for injection pulse while it won't start? If so, what is missing?
