Comparing Mazda CX5 lease deals

Hi all,

I received two deals for a Mazda CV-5 preferred in NYC, but I can't figure out how they got to these numbers. I have residual at 60% and 0.00125 MF plugged into leasehackr calculator and it just isn't adding up. Am I missing something here?

Deal 1 - Lower MSRP, better discount, but higher monthly. $2219 DAS (taxes, fees, 1st mo)


Deal 2 - Higher MSRP, worse discount, but lower monthly. $2336 DAS (taxes, fees, 1st mo)



Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Have you swapped your Deal 1 and Deal 2 comments?

Yeah, I sent deal 2 in and got deal 1 from another dealership.

I asked deal 1 why they had higher selling price, but they said it didn't matter if I was getting a lower monthly with comparable DAS

Obviously, the higher payment is bumping up the money factor, or have added costs that aren’t shown. If you had the contract, it would be obvious.
