What causes the Ford Focus to go full Christmas tree on the dash and become hard to drive?

2013 Ford Focus SE flex, vehicle can drive great for a couple days then all of the dash lights come on and it becomes hard to drive. We have had charging issues so we basically changed everything, alternator, battery, cables, belts, anything within the charging system. Have also changed the vapor canister purge valve.

The parts that have been replaced is meaningless and should be treated as if that was done to a different car at this time. What is important is what is going on right now with this car and the first question is what testing has been done while this problem is happening? Has anyone attached a scan tool and attempted to pull codes from every module on the car? If so, what codes were setting in which modules? If the scan tool didn't communicate with the vehicle, that in itself would be a clue as to what is going on, or at least a clue to some of what is going on.

Nobody is just going to know and even if someone has seen something even remotely similar it is little more than a guess unless testing proves otherwise. Find a good shop/technician and get them to start testing and prove what is working and what is not. You can set a minimum/maximum price range for that and if that expires, they should be able to tell you at that point what is known and what still needs to be proven and you can then choose if you want to proceed or not.
