No Plates

I bought a used car (financed) and was sent home with keys to car, front license plate, and registration.
Obviously, I need a rear plate with valid sticker.
I have contacted the dealer. They are aware. It has been over 24 hours.
What should the dealer be doing right now to fix this?

    Why only one plate?

    Does your state have a temporary tag, when buying a car?
