GMC Yukon Floor Mats

Just took delivery of my brand new 07 Yukon XL in Gold Mist. Love it!! Fully loaded with all options. Only thing we don't like is the split third tow seating. Would have preferred a bench without the center console - but I guess we can't have everything!

I'm looking for the good rubber floor mats - the kind with the grooves that catch dirt and liquids. I've seen them advertized and now I can't for the life of me find them! Can anyone recommend a brand?

Although, there are other brands out there, nothing so far that I know of match those from the WeatherTech, hope you like them:

Thanks! That is exactly what I'm looking for!! I'm going to go with the tan FloorLiner for complete protection. Thanks again!

Has anyone found a decent rubber mat for the floor area between the 2nd row buckets? I have the OEM mats for everywhere else but cant find a good mat for that area. :confuse:

I purchased the good rubber mats from Weathertec. The set came with the front, rear and third row seating mats. Plus I bought the rear cargo liner. I have been from Fl to SC and TN twice - with all the clay up there, it was the best investment ever. I am very happy with them.

Did your set come with a mat for the area between the bucket seats?

Yes, the third row piece actually has an "isle" section that runs between the two bucket seats in the second row. Here is the link:

It's called FloorLiner (not the regular floor mats). It affords fulls coverage - believe me, I cannot see any carpet in my truck!!!!! If you email me personally at info@pigroup.net, I will take a couple photos and email to you.

    Thank you

Those mats are excellent. I wish I had seen them before I bought all the OEM mats! I ordered the 2nd row with middle area coverage.

For anyone that has the Floor Liner system mentioned above does the third row section that comes up the aisle between the buckets bump up against the second row mat that goes all the way across or is there a gap between the two mats where they meet?
    Thanks,

It bumps right up to the other section. My coverage is unbelievable - I can't see carpet anywhere.

    Thanks
Are the mats smooth with holes for hooks or do they have bumps all across the bottom to keep them in place?

I don't think there's either. They are fited so perfectly, that there is no room for them to slide around!!! I have had no problems with them sliding. In fact, when I try to remove them to vacuum, it's quite a chore.

my uncle needed all weather mats for his yukon as well, but got the husky liners ( http://www.auto-everything.com/weathertech-floormats/GMC/Yukon/ ) rather than weathertech. they seem almost identical though.

just wondering, did you leave your OEM carpet mats under the weathertech mats or pull them out
  • tampapitampapi Member Posts: 14
Pulled them out - didn't want to take any chances.

Initially, I had the OEM carpet mats out; but, I have no good place to store them, so, you guess it. I have them under the WeatherTech mats now... Not too much of a difference, but, with the OEM mats under will make the WeatherTech mats a little saggy on the outside edges.

Not too much of a difference really, but, with the OEM mats under will make the WeatherTech mats a little saggy on the outside edges, where most of the water run to and makes soaking-up the water on the WeatherTech mats a little easier during the winter, especially if you have kids getting in and out of the SUV with them snow and ice covered dirty snow boots...

I just got a nice Yukon SUV. My wife has these two big nasty dogs that she likes to take with us camping. Anyone know where I can find a nice Carg Liner that these beasts will not tear up?

    Thanks

Joel, Have you checked out the Weather Tech please? Hope you can find what you need... FYI, I have two small dogs, 3 kids and a wife; it has been 2 years the cargo mat that I got from Weather Tech is still holding up very well.
