2002 Yukon - What engine do I have?

I just bought a 2002 GMC Yukon, with SLE trim, 4x4 and tow packages. According to the owners manual, I could have either a 4800 or a 5300 engine. I looked under the hood and on the driver's door for info, but on the engine it only says "VORTEC", and there's a sticker showing the serpentine belt installation.

How can I tell what I've got?

BTW - It's got 74,000 miles on it, but except for a few scratches in the paint, it looks, drives and feels like new!

Usually the VIN will tell you what engine you have. Try one of the decoders linked in the How to Decode VIN Numbers Guide.
