2005 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS Idling
Hi-
I have a recently purchased 2005 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS Wagon and was wondering what the idle is supposed to be like on this vehicle? I have noticed that when I start the car up in the morning and let it run (to get the engine warm...winter in the northeast) that the car "revs" to around 1.5 RPM's and then drops down to 1 or .5 RPM's. Is this normal for this vehicle? In other words, it's not a steady idle... It doesn't seem extreme in terms of RPM's but I was just wondering as I'm a new Subaru owner...
Thanks for any help!
