Skid Plate

So, I was engaged in some light off-roading (just a beat up dirty road), and I ended up cracking the boot covering one of my front CV-joints. You can't really tell if your boot is cracked until it spurts all kinds of joint grease all over your catalytic converter, creating quite the burning smell. I'd like to replace the useless factory plastic "skid plate" with a metal one, offering more protection. Anyone out there have one / no where to get a cheap one, or am I going to have to make my own? Thanks.

Probably have to make your own, the only forester ones I've seen are for the turbos.
