Hi, after gaining so much useful information from so many of you during the last few weeks, it is time to return the favor.

My wife and I purchased our 2002 Sienna XLE yesterday. Color: Super White, equipped with FE (50 State Emissions); UF (Towing Package, Dual Auto Climate Control); BE (Side Air Bags; EM (Inside Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror); XLE Luxury Package; EF (Rear Bumper Protector). The search and buying process was the easiest ever and I can truly say that the internet has completely changed the car buying experience for us. I went to the Toyota dealership web site and located about 100 dealerships in the Los Angeles area. Then, I sent an e-mail to about 50 of them (simply by copying their e-mail address into my e-mail message). About 8 e-mails failed being delivered, but approx. 30 dealerships responded within 24 hours. This started a 5 day e-mail and phone exchange process in which several dealers where very good in describing the type of cars they currently have on the lot and at what price over/under invoice they are willing to sell it to me "hazzle free". Prices quoted were anywhere between $300 below to $750 above invoice. Nothing compared to the $1,200 over invoice a local Toyota dealer "had to have" after I visited their show room for the third time! As we were not sure about what color we wanted, we were looking for a large dealership with good inventory. We found it in Longo Toyota, El Monte. They hat 17 LE's and XLE's to choose from. Prior to visiting the dealership Internet Sales Manager Will Amiri (will.amiri@longotoyota.com) gave us a detailed and competitive written offer. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle (which we reached after a short ride with a golf cart across their huge lot) and the process of agreeing on the price, documentation, sale of the old vehicle was very quick. Longo even has AAA insurance representatives on the property and we were able to get the old car removed from our insurance policy and the new car added right on the spot. Longo is currently expanding even more and soon you'll be able to drink specialty coffee in their very own Starbucks branch - for some of you out there this my be an added benefit :). The invoice price for our vehicle was $28,945.00 (incl. the $300 advertising fee). MSRP was $32,525. We ended up paying $28,688.15 (plus sales tax, $45 doc. prep. fee, license and $5 CA tire fee), before taking into account the value of our trade in.

Another very responsive dealer with a good offer was David Hatch at North County Toyota, Anaheim (www.northcountytoyota.com). I probably would have bought from him had we not been so impressed by Longo, El Monte (several miles closer to L.A. than Anaheim).

Summary: at this particular time it should not be difficult to get a 2002 Sienna XLE at or below invoice price (invoice includes the TDA fee). Do NOT talk to sales people on the lot but get in touch with the internet sales/fleet department of the dealers you are considering.

We also bought our 2001 Sienna XLE from Longo/Will Amiri. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and gave us pretty much the same price as you. We also bought the same equipment as you, except our van came with an after market video entertainment system. As I recall, MSRP $32,811, plus $1,995. for the video. We paid $28,731. + tax/license. We bought this van on 15Sep2001, just a few days after that dreaded day in September. We only drive our van on the weekends, so it only has 950 miles so far. It's been perfect, no problems so far. Enjoy, Richard

Bought my new XLE 2 hours ago! Thanks to all who posted here, great resource.

I was all set to pay close to 10% off list for a new Sienna XLE with towing package, side airbags, Mirror w/compass, XL and LL luxury package, rear bumper protector and center console. I was quoted $29,400 by a local dealer and I kept my eyes open for a better deal all this week. Well, this morning I looked at the paper and saw an ad for $5000 off list on 5 different Sienna's at Bob Baker Toyota in San Diego. I called them up, all ready for the "Sorry, we just sold the last one" line. Instead, I was told that 2 were remaining and the colors were silver and gold. I called up my wife and down we went to check it out. Everything went perfectly. We tried to hide our glee as we signed on the dotted line for $27,660 for a $32,660 list price Sienna...got the gold. We are elated! What a deal. I never had much faith in those ads that list a great price followed with "One at this price". The finance manager there told me that I got close to $1400 below invoice. My advice for those of you getting ready to purchase is look out for such deals and pounce early. I was able to look up the VIN of the Sienna on the dealers website before visiting so I knew what I was looking at.

Now for a drive up the coast......

    Mike.

We finally purchased a 2002 Toyota Sienna CE! We had been shopping for over a month for the best deal in town. In the process we did a lot of research on the net and made lots and lots of phone calls. We went through the newspaper and called all the Toyota dealers on the New Car Buying Guide List in the LA Times. One of the best deals we found was at San Bernardino Toyota (Calif.). They offered a very attractive price over the phone, and when we got there we got exactly what we wanted at the exact price we were quoted. Surprisingly we were not hassled. They didn't add any hidden fees or pressure us to buy all the extra stuff. They simply presented their products and let us decide. The fleet managers Derek and Wes were courteous and straightforward. The only other costs to the quoted price was tax, DMV fees, and tire fee ($5). The process did not take long, and they were sensitive to our time schedule and tried to get us out of there asap. It was a very pleasant experience. No strings attached. No mind games. At all cost avoid Wondries Toyota in Alhambra. After 7 hours of negotiation (over the span of 3 visits), we got nowhere!! Basically we ran around in circles. The whole experience left a bad taste in our mouth. We later found out through the Better Business Bureau website that several complaints had been made against the dealership that was never resolved. We left San Bernardino Toyota feeling like we got a great deal and did not feel like we were "taken" in any way. I recommend going straight to the fleet managers Derek and Wes.

I just purchased a 02 Sienna LE W/Symphony Package. It includes the tow package, auto dimmer mirror, rear bumper protector, tire pressure monitoring system and power passenger door. I bought it for $25K with a sticker of $28.3K. It had 24 miles on the odometer.

Oh yeah, I had to pay an additional $500 because I took the special financing 0/36. The sales tax was 6.9% and processing fee was $79.

I was offered an extended warranty (Toyota's Platinum Package) for 84/100K with zero deductible for $770. Is this a good price for the extended warranty? I have 30 days to cancel for a full refund.

P.S. The dealerhip was great in conducting the sales.

After working as an auto technician for over 15 years. I've come to discover that from the end of November to April are very slow times at the dealerships. December being the absolute slowest! With this in mind I set out to start bargaining at about the beginning of December. Hopping from one dealership to another. Well, January fifth we picked up our 2002 Sienna XLE with Towing Package(UF), Side Air Bags(BE), Inside Auto Dimming Mirror W/Compass(EM), Heated Front Seats(HD), Vehicle Skid Control(VD), XLE Luxury Package(LL), Rear Bumper Protector(EF), Cargo Net(GN). MSRP on vehicle was $33,563.00, we paid $29,573 with no trade and 5.5% 60 month loan (Not through Toyota Financing). Well below dealer invoice. When times are slow, dealers are very flexible with their pricing. Bought it at Bennett Toyota, Allentown, PA. Would buy next vehicle there.

Hello all...Not sure I got hosed or not but I think I did OK on this 2002 Toyota Sienna...I am here in Buffalo, NY and noticed that there are several dealers in the area that are purchasing Canadian Sienna's and bringing them across the border to sell here in the states...I found out how they do it...One Sunday I went to the lot to get he VIN number of the Sienna I wanted and noticed several people in new cars all over the lot...That was strange...I watched them all walk toward this charter van with Candian plates...So it seems as though the way the dealer is getting around US citizens NOT being able to buy NEW sienna's in Canada is to pay real Canadian Citizens to bring the cars over and them sell them to the dealer...Maybe they are giving them Casino chips ...Interesting...Note that this is a LARGE dealer here in Buffalo and has a good rep...In hindsite I should have done that since I have Canadian friends...

Anyway, the deal I got was a 2002 Canadian CE for $22,350.00 (no dest/adv charges-see below)...It has the C/CE value pack for the Canadian CE's which includes the privacy glass and keyless entry...It has power doors and windows, cruise, CD/tape, Quad seats (which I believe the 2002 american CE's do not offer anymore for 2002), full size spare, tilt wheel, steering wheel radio controls, rear climate control. imobilizer theft deterent on the engine and the blue color we want...

Note that I research the warranty issue to DEATH and it IS COVERED under Toyota warranty according to Toyota US and Toyota Canada and a dealer I spoke to...

I ran some numbers and based on the numbers from the various sites with the options I have I got the van for $ 800 under invoice for a new one even with the rebate going on now for US 2002's...Moreover, there was no destinate charge or advertising fees, etc...Technically it is considered a USED vehical with 41 miles on it...

Anyway, I would appreciate any input on how I did pricewise on this van...I LOVE this van..

Thanks for your help...This forum has been indispensible...

Just bought a 2002 Sienna LE on Feb 9th at Lawrence Toyota in Lawrenceville, NJ. I wanted to post what I paid for my van because I used this site to get an idea of what I "should" pay for a Sienna and I wanted to return the favor.

    Here are the details:
2002 Sienna LE with Tow Package (TO), 50 State Emissions (on all Toyota Sienna's)(FE), Power Sliding Door (AJ), LE Extra Value Package (UN), Rear Bumper Protector (EF) and Cargo Net (GN).

Price I paid: $24,650, this was $423 over the Kelley Blue Book Invoice Price. I also paid a doc fee of $68 and license and tags of $113.50, the later 2 varied a lot depending on the dealer so shop and negotiate these added fees. Of course there was also tax (6% in NJ) One dealer wanted to charge a $166.00 "prep and delivery" fee. I laughed and said that's YOUR cost of doing business not mine. I also took the $500 rebate so in reality I paid $24,150 plus tax, tags and doc fee (total out the door cost of $25810.50). I felt this was a fair price.

I highly suggest going to kbb.com for the Kelley Blue Book pricing. Just hit price a new car or build a car and all the options will be available to determine the dealer's invoice price. I noticed all the dealer's told me a higher invoice price which usually ran about 400-500 dollars more than kbb.com. This is apparently an advertising fee...don't pay it. kbb has been around for 75 years so believe what they print not what the dealer tells you because they will claim it's not accurate. Who's more reliable an independent source or a person who will profit off your purchase?

    A co-worker and I purchased 2002 SIENNAs for $24,900:

    Sticker: $28010.00
    FE- 50 State Emissions
    TO- Towing package
    AJ- Power side door
    SP- Symphony package
    WL- Wheel Locks (alloy)
    EF- Rear Bumper Protector
    $24900 ($25400- $500 Rebate)

Was this a good deal, price wise ??

I'd say you can sleep well at night!

You got a nice van, great upgraded fabric, alloy wheels, top-notch sound...

Only thing is...it's not red (IMHO).

    Hi,
Just wanted to share that I opted to buy a demo 2001 Sienna LE with only 4800 miles for $21,300 at Keyes Toyota at Van Nuy's on the weekend.

    It had the Alloys wheels,
    JBL upgrade,
    Burwood dash,
    Right power sliding door,
    and side air bags.

    My wife loves it!!!

This is my second car I bought as demo's. I have save over $7G's for a car that was only driven for 5 months! I have not so far regretted buying demo's.
I just hate it when they try to sell you all the unwanted stuff like "certified" additional protection / electrical component protection crap and lo-jack blah blah!

Just show me my car keys...and I'm off!

Did anyone mention to you that the current Sienna is the smallest mini van around and would be history (when they bring-in the next generaton) in a few months. I see so many ads in my local news paper offering thousonds of dollars off the MSRP. Nothing to upset your enjoymnet, but you consider these details before you signed the papers?

You can stretch out your legs in the passenger seat--unlike the Honda--and won't bruise your shins, or worse, on the glovebox in a crash...
  • thewolverinethewolverine Member Posts: 111
Of course Seinna does have a full-size spare rather than a donut like the Honda - both are good vehicles, very similiar in size/performance and quality - all boils down to what you like and the deal you get.

As for the recent discounts - no doubt they're moving inventory to make room for the larger remodeled version (Toyota remodels in 5 year cycles and 2003 is 5 years for Sienna).

For the first time ever I've seen $1000 rebate and 1.9% financing advertised in CT.

If you can wait on the Sienna right now you probably will get a much better deal in the summer on the 2002s.

But looks to me like ccancio did well - happy motoring to you and your wife! What color did you get?

Thats news to me. I have test driven both Ody and Sienna. Though I like Sienna from outside, once you get inside they both are completely different vehicles(both in size, power and features). Finally went with Odessey, even when I paid close to MSRP I ended up paying less than a Sienna with similar features. Yes I did account for all the "discounts".
  • ltb530ltb530 Member Posts: 12
    Ody size : 201.2x75.6x69.7
    Sienna size: 194.2x73.4x67.3

    Ody Engine size : 3.5L 240HP
    Sienna engine size: 3.0L 210HP

    Now the leg room
    Ody : 40'
    Sienna: 36.7'

Price for an Ody EX-L $28000, about the same for Sienna with less features.

    hehe...
Boy, I didn't realize that this thread had a war going on when I posted how much I bought my Sienna for.

By the way it is White Sienna for wolverine.

Honestly, my first choice "was" a Honda Odyssey. I was impressed with the hide-away rear seat that most and then the drive chracteristics but as all of you know the dealerships would only charge MSRP or above. Even greedy car lots were trying to sell used 1999 Odyssey with 49K miles on the clock for $25K.

This knowledge sickened me (as I know the feeling is shared among the other new van owners who opted for something else other than the Odyssey) so as a wise/informed consumer I looked for other alternatives.

I alway go by the rule that in essence I "control" the car, and not the car controling me.

I chose this particular Toyota Sienna I bought primarily because the opportunity presented it self to me to buy a near new car below Dealer invoice. With all the extra conveniences that came along with the car at that low price ...how could I say no?!

If I were offered that same deal with a Honda Odyssey LX to buy one under invoice, I would have taken the Honda...but we all know that would never occur.

I had to compromise. My main goal was to buy a relatively spacious vehicle to ferry my wife and kids in confort and safety. I knew that the Sienna had a great crash safety rating to protect my wife and kids and I respected the Toyota badge. I drove the vehicle and was impressed by the smooth suspension on rough roads and highway feel.
The seats were very confortable and I likes the JBL option.

I never owned a van with a power door, now I don't know how one can drive without one, especially with small kids.

The only thing I realized that was going to be difficult, and it is, is carrying the 3rd row seat out when required to load large cargo.

For me, the best part of the purchase was surprising my wife (who till now, struggled with great difficulty ferrying my 1 and 3 year old in a sedan) and see her happy face, she just loves the car!

OOhhh Man....I got so many "brownie points " from her to last me through Christmas!!!

    White?

Like you, my sister-in-law bought white - not a demo but she bought late in the 2001 model year - my guess is white is not that popular - tan and green are all over the place - at least here in CT.

As for a war - not on my part - I was just pointing out the two vans are "similiar" - apparently that tweaked the guy who owns the Ody.

Like you I too considered Ody and found it quite nice and easily comparable to Sienna - just boils down to the deal you get and availability.

And you got a good one.

Oh yes, removing the 3rd seat is a pain - be careful not to scratch the bumper as so many have done.

3rd seat's a definite plus for Ody which next year's Sienna will copy along with a number of size/power improvements to this years Ody as noted above in the comparision.

Happy Motoring to you and your wife!

In the local paper. $21,111 for the van. The sticker is $25k and change. A good price? and do you think a little more can be negotiated off the $21,111? Any replies are appreciated.
    Cheers!

    Beer47,
    For zip code 08817
    2002 Toyota Sienna
    CE 4dr Minivan (3.0L 6cyl 4A)
    What is
    TMV?
    Invoice MSRP TMV
    $21,514 $23,905 $21,834
    Destination Charge $480 $480 $480
    Total
    (w/o Options) $21,994 $24,385 $22,314

So it looks like a good deal IMO but check it out whether there is any rebate existing or no first and then recalculate it.

Since we used Edmund's often while reseaching our purchase, I thought we should contribute our "2 cents". We bought a 2002 Sienna CE Black Walnut pearl($21,514) with FE($0),TO ($128),HV($681),EF ($38)=$22,361 plus $6 fuel fee,$510 delivery fee, and $412 advert. fee called TDA. Total invoice=$23,289, $25,390 list price. Selling price was $23,269 "threw-in" cargo net, full tank of gas. We got a $1500 rebate thru Toyota. We paid $279.50 doc. fee, $1606.84 for taxes and license plate. No trade-in. "out the door price"=$23,655.34 at Covington Pike Toyota, Memphis. Tennessee

Anyone buy a Sienna online in the Boston area? So far, we've dealt with Ira Toyota in Danvers and Atlantic Toyota in Lynn. Both say, "Come on in for a test drive, we have plenty of vehicles in stock," but don't quote prices. We're comparing the Sienna to the Mazda MPV, and Wellesley Mazda cut right to the chase, offering anything in stock for !% over invoice, less the $2,000 rebate. Carsdirect lists a $1,250 rebate for a Sienna LE, is that correct? Edmunds seems to have lost their ability to gather this information, as they list no incentives for Mazda or Toyota.
  • steverstever Guest Posts: 52,454
Our incentives page shows a $1,000 customer cash allowance in the Boston area (or low interest rates if you are financing - can't combine the incentives). We don't show anything for Mazda in your area.

Here's the link. Good luck hunting!.

When you buy a vehicle worth 28000, that too from Toyota who having a reputation for great build quality as I understand, what I got was a real thumbs down.

The frame is so pathetic you can see the moulding projetions all over, as if those japanese engineers were on tha 5 minute vacation and didnt care much about it.

I bought the vehicle from a dealer in San diego and happenned to buy it during the night. Thanks to the law in california I couldnt return it for what I saw about the build quality.

so that makes me wonder , what did I pay for. Never again with Toyota for sure. My advise to you...dont buy a vhicale in the night.

I've spoken with a couple of dealerships in the Northeast and they tell me that the $1300 rebate is only good for the 2002 models. Of course, they mostly have the 2003's on the lots. Does anyone know whether Toyota will honor the rebate for the 2003s?

    Thanks!
  • drivealot1drivealot1 Member Posts: 2
On the West Coast, Toyota was offering a $1,000 cash rebate or special 0% financing on 2002 Siennas through 7-31-02. I wasn't going to pressured to buy over a $1,000 rebate and figured as the 2003s are rolling out, pricing should start to get better. Today, one of the dealers I visited called to say the rebate was extended on the 2002 models. No surprises there--all the competitors are extending their offers. I asked about a promo on the 2003 and was told Toyota was offering a $500 cash rebate. However, when I spoke to another dealer regarding an internet quote, he was unaware of any rebate on the 2003 models. He quoted the same price for a Symphony edition on both model years, less the $1,000 off the 2002. When I said that wasn't good enough, after all, I was factoring in depreciation on the 2002 model, he offered another $200 off his quote.

Last sales day in June. Silver Symphony w/
    FE,TO,AJ, BE, SP,Z2, DK.
    Sticker 30842
    Value Pkg discount 2000
    So far 28842
    negotiated price 26094

    96 Bonneville trade 3200 (car had 120K!)
    Tax 1373
    Title/Regis. 158
    Rebate 1250
    out the door 23175
Not as good as the person in Atlanta I read about here but for the North East, not bad. The van is so smooth it is boring! But that is testament to how well it is screwed together. I also negotiated lifetime oil change. I'll let the Toyota dealer use OEM filters, proper oil, his techs, factory intervals and let his computer system document it all. Any sludge problems will be their problems. This negotiation point was key to me, more important than the extra couple hundred that I could have attained in protracted negotiations. If the sludge thing is real I suggest you all do the same if you can attain it.

made lots of phone calls and went to a couple of dealerships this weekend. From this information, I learned the following: 2003 Rebate for August - no cash at all - only lower financing rates - not zero, but like 2.9% for 36 if I recall correctly. So, if you want the 2003 and are going to pay for it w/o financing, then no rebate for you. You'll have to wait until at least September. As for me, I want the 2003, so I'll reluctantly pull the trigger.
  • arewenotmenarewenotmen Member Posts: 5
Paid $26,045 for a 2002 symphony edition w/ 0% financing for three years at Fitzgerald's in Gaithersburg MD. They also gave me oil change loaner car package. 2003 was about $700 more but financing was at 3.9% for same period. Savings on the 2002 was about $2,200, which on trade could be a wash (2002 will be worth less)but went with the immediate savings. Also, no difference in 2003 vs 2002.
  • manamalmanamal Member Posts: 426
That is my exact minivan. I paid 26200 - 1000 rebate, or 25200 for a 2002 Sienna. Oh well....

I would like to buy a sienna by September, does anybody know if there is any difference between 02 and 03 sienna? They have some hot fix with the engine problem with 03 model?
Also, any difference between CE+HV(ce extra value package) and the base LE? Maybe the Rear window auto or manual open?
    Thanks.

I wish we could find an '02 for the rebate, but we had a hard enough time locatingan '03 LE with luxury package or Symphony package. There's only about $700 difference between the two packages. We are going to talk with the internet associate tomorrow regarding each of these cars. She quoted me LE w/ extra value package, bumper protector, auto pass sliding door, center console, and tow prep for: $25329 plus tax and plates. She quoted me Symphont for: $26016. What do you think? Should I take a chance and wait for possible rebate Sept. 1st? I's hate to lose the car. HELP!!!!

Picked up my wives '03 CE with the HX package (Extra Value Package w/ captains chairs) last week. Walked in and the salesman offered me invoice (supposedly) at $23127, looked around and it seemed like a good deal. Have had great luck with it for the first week and the wife just loves it for transporting the kids.
Hope this helps someone out there.

Okay, I know this topic has been knocked around a bit, but now that it's September and all the current incentives (financing 4.9%/60 months) end on September 3rd. Has anyone heard what or if they will be offering anything for 2003's after September 3rd??? I was hoping for maybe cash back or better financing or possibly reduced prices via Carsdirect.com pricing? I have a Symphony coming in the second week of September and was hoping to have some new bargaining power on the price.

I got a great deal on a 2002 Sienna Symphony 2 weeks ago here in Southern Calif. Sticker price was $30,360 less 2,000 msrp discount = $28,360.00.
It was on sale for $23,988 plus tax and licensing, minus $1,000 rebate. It has TO, AJ, BE, EF, and SK on top of the Symphony option!

Good for you!!! I couldn't find a 2002 Symphony anywhere within a 200 mile radius in Western New York! I wish I could have! Enjoy! BTW What color did you get?

I got the micah sand (beige). The ad in the paper stated "1 at this price" (net $22,988). I would have bought any color for that price. It's actually a very nice neutral color. I am enjoying my Symphony. What do you have?

I'm going to look at this van in a few days, asking price is $14,700. Seems fair for SF prices. 67,400 miles, leather seats, power everything. Does this seem like a good price? Any advise?

    thanks

You really got great deal. Just know this forum. I think this is a great message board. I bought my 2002 symphony July 25 in Philadelphia area for $24200. Added option including side airbag, pass side power sliding door, Towing package, cargo net and bumper protector. Hope this still helpful. Really love the car, quite ride and just the right size for my home garage.

Update: I just did a price check of the 2003 Sienna at Carsdirect.com (As I do every few days thanks to my obessive compulsive nature) and lo and behold a $500 cash back block comes up! According to my zip code it runs until 9/30/02!!! Surprise! Surprise! I would like to see if my sales rep would bring it up to me or not when we go to check it out this week.
Moral: Don't stop trying to save money!!!

I just bought a silver 2003 Sienna CE with the HX package (all the power goodies plus 2nd row captain's chairs) and EF (rear bumber protector).

I used a service here in MA (Mass Buying Power) which gives a fixed price for the Sienna: invoice + $200.

    dealer invoice: 23229
    profit: 200
    doc/prep fee: 200
    rebate: -500

    total: 23129

The dealer invoice (which they showed me) differs from what you see on various web sites by $333, which according to the dealer is some sort of regional ad fee which you can't get out of paying.

This model is almost exactly the same as as LE with the extra value package, but cost about $850 less. Biggest differences are power rear quarter windows, illuminated visor mirrors, illuminated entry system, and a tachometer. I can live without these for $850!

Total time in the dealer: about 45 minutes. No hassles, no pressure. Maybe I could have shaved a few hundred more off by playing the dealers against each other, but I hate playing that game.

    Wellesley Toyota, Wellesley MA.

How do the quarter windows in your CE operate? I'm looking at a very similar '03 here in MI, and I'm happy they've got one without that silly center console thing, so I'm tempted to just buy it.
The Toyota web site lists "rear privacy glass with power-operated rear quarter windows", so I'm wondering why it's missing on your car. I don't think "power operated" is that big a deal, but it's kinda hard to reach from the driver's seat...
Not having a Tac is just fine with me, but the speedo in the CE is the ugliest thing possible. Big, clunky, overdone. Gheez guys, are you trying to punish us for only buying the options we really want?
BTW, what's with the walk-through? Americans don't seem to want it for some reasons, are we really all too fat to squeeze between the seats? With a small kid on a long trip, the "discipline aisle" is the bee's knees.
    TIA

The rear quarter windows pivot out from the front via a latch mechanism on the back. They only open about 2 inches max.

My previous minivan (Windstar) had power ones, we hardly ever used them so it wasn't a big deal not to have them.

I think on the Sienna they are not available at all on the CE no matter what options package you get, they are only available on LE and higher.

I agree that the blue speedo is a little strange, but I don't really focus on small cosmetic issues like that. After I drive a new car for a little while, I stop noticing those things, it doesn't even register any more.

My biggest gripe after having the car for a week is the quality on the floor mats and cargo mat. In the Windstar, the mats were very thick and rubber-backed and covered the *entire floor*, under the seats, by the doors, everything. The Sienna mats are thin, they cover only in between the seats and part of the cargo area (if you take out the rear seats, there is no mat protecting a large part of the floor), and the color doesn't exactly match the color of the interior carpeting.

Does anyone have insight into what incentives might be offered in November? In my region they are offering 1.5k on 2002's and 1k on 2003's until the end of October. I wonder if they will get better?
