We started building Pro-Am's today. I really like the graphite paint . The dash gets a silver piece were the wood goes . The first one I saw come down the line , I really did not like it. Then after seeing one with all the interior done it started to grow on me. We are building this package on the Concorde also .One thing the Concorde gets that the M does not is a new center console shifter cover. The Concorde shifter cover gets silver trim around the leather boot just like what is used on the dash . The M uses the same cover all M's get.Also there are No changes in the drivetrain, of either car.
yes, I too have noticed that Edmunds sometimes wont load at all---and I have high speed cable internet---I thought it was my computer till I tried the club site to make sure all was ok with modem--
It was nice to hear from Phases---I wouldnt want to be in his shoes right now----some of the long timers here should send a brief hello to show him we appreciate all he is doing in his fight for our country--

fuzzywuzzy - I called KVR and gave them the opprtunity to make it right. They didn't. What can I say?
Guess what car this is.

BTW, it's 88º and sunny in Brampton today, I dug my shorts out.
If I tried that kind of speed here in Pennsylvania, I'd be typing this message from a jail cell.
It certainly is! We usually see those temps in June, July and August, off and on, given our latitude.
I'm trying to negotiate a group purchase. They did a group purchase for PT Cruiser club for $335 for the complete kit (9006 bulb). Hopefully we can get the same deal. Check out http://www.midnightmoose.com, Lighting, and then HID Conversion Kits. This is not a xenon bulb, but a conversion kit complete with harnesses and ballasts.
Of course, my GPS is a relatively stupid machine and it doesn't realise that I turned it off last fall after I pulled out my crab pots out in the bay. I took it with me a week or so ago, turned it on the the car and, not knowing that it had been dead, it did the d/t equation from where it last was to where it was now. 178! I felt like that guy in the NASCAR commercial trying to bribethe cop into giving him a ticket for 185
The 300M uses a 9006XS (a.k.a HB4A - straight base) bulb not a 9006 (a.k.a HB4 - 90 degree base bulb). Chrysler seems to be the only auto manufacturer that was suckered - I mean negotiated w/Sylvania to use the 9006XS ba$tard bulb. Check these links out to see the difference;
9006:

Hope this clears up some of the cornfusion. OUT!
By the way, I think one of the few good things I can say about my wife's Grand Caravan is that DC did it right with their taillight assembly. I can replace a bulb in under 30 seconds.
Will let you know when special gets in.

People don't realize that Juneau is the largest city in the US at over 3000 square miles. A whole bunch of it is water and ice though.
Well, instead of using the engine's exhaust and all it's piping to spin the turbine, you'd use an electric motor. This could somehow be hooked up to the throttle or computer to increase and decrease it's speed depending on the RPM of the engine. I'm sure some company could make a small enough electric motor package that would fit inside our M's engine. What do you think? Is this crazy or what? Would an electric motor spin fast enough?
Now, if anyone does actually go out there and create this thing and makes a fortune, please remember me and send me some royalties.
I don't think it would be cost effective because of the beefed up electrical system and computer controls you'd need to make it work. And there would probably be a weight penalty for the high torque motor and larger alternator you'd need to power it.
