Well, mine may be different from yours (depends on what type of sealant the dealer chooses to use), but my ex-girlfriend threw-up big time in the front seat of my 2006 EX Cloth Accord. The gross stuff wiped right up as if the seats were leather. There was no smell, stain, or even discoloration left on the seat. All I cleaned it with was "Resolve" brand carpet cleaner. I used to think that things like ScotchGuard extras being tacked on a window sticker were bogus, but after having that happen, I like the stuff!
That being said, you shouldn't pay over $22k for an LX-SE Accord, regardless of the accessories. They are WAY overcharging you - I have an EX Accord with a painted on accent stripe (not the sticker kind), fabric selant, and splash guards, and the sale price on the car was something like $24k out the door (the 2006 had JUST come out so prices weren't as low as they are now). You should be able to get out the door for less than $22k. Am I right folks? If I'm not, feel free to speak up, I'm just one opinion.
I'm in market for a new Accord too.
Could you please send your dealer info to my email:

Thanks
Have a good Holiday.
As someone else said, a can of scotchguard can be picked up at any autoparts store (or home improvement store).
check somewhere like handa-accessories.com for the splash guards. Wheel locks are another autoparts store purchase.
tint is the only varying item, and you can call any independent installer in your area for a realistic idea of what that should run you.

$0 for paint sealant (and may do more harm than good)
$0 for rust proofing (and may do more harm than good)
$0 for fabric sealant(and may do more harm than good)
$30-34 for wheel locks (depends on the wheels) see H&A for Prices
$100 maybe for tint, call around the local tint places and get quotes.
Your car does not need nor do you need to buy any of these "sealant" things. They cost the dealer next to nothing (about what they are worth) and just ring up lots of extra profit for the dealer.
Dennis
As everyone else has stated, you can buy these items much cheaper later, and in many cases, they're not needed at all. If you have kids, buy a can of Scotchguard fabric sealant and do it yourself at a cost of less than $20.
If they won't remove these packs, run - don't walk - as fast as you can from this dealer.
Thank you!
$21407 selling price +
399 doc fee...
Somehow seems like less money than
$21806 selling price..
$21.00 fee? That might be an actual title fee charged by a government entity.. That is why it is non-taxable..

What's the good deal?
The current offer I have is $26,139.00
MSRP: $29,500
Invoice (per Edmunds.com): $26,570
My understanding is that RV is 17367 and the money factor is 0.00182.
Questions:
a) is this a good offer or should I push/wait for better?
b) According to Edmunds calculator, this should put me at ~325/month (including tax) with 2k down.
According to some other calculators (http://www.leaseguide.com/calc.htm) I should end up at ~285. Which one's right? What's the difference?
Thanks!

:confuse:
My deal breaks out as follows: $22,239 purchase price, $299 dealer fees, $736 taxes (3.17 percent in VA) and tags.
Invoice and $595 destination for this car was $23,166. Sticker was $25,645 plus a few thousand dollars worth of garbage dealer add-ons, including a $1995 "market adjustment fee" and $600 for wheel locks and mud flaps.
Would recommend Bill Page, not withstanding the above mentioned marketing gimmick. Salesman never even mentioned the sticker price. Of course, we went in with an Internet quote from a competing dealer for $900 below invoice.
invoice = 21043
dest charge = 595
tax(ohio%6.75) = 1460.56
doc fee = 250
accessories = 150
Total = 23498
i asked the sales rep that i would take it if he gives me for 23,000 OTD with everything including, he talked to his manager and agreed to it he was kind of nice guy but they didn't have the colour so he said he will have it by tomorrow from a dealer trade and it would end up having around 100 miles on it and he assured me that he will have the warranty extended to the additional miles of bringing it, but i was worried after seeing some posts which said they had ACCORD SE's for 1000 below invoice cause there is some company discount on it and i asked my sales rep about it he says its a discount($900) from the MSRP or sticker price to the dealers and it makes no difference to me as i already have the deal below invoice, does anybody know about this and can shed some light on it,Thanks.

No hidden fees, no pressure to buy anything else. Great experience.
We drove in, papers were ready, whole deal took less than an hour.
Soooo...is this deal good, bad or ugly? Should I run back to the dealer, or run away?
$20,401 OTD for an Accord 07 SE I4 AT in Atlanta sounds tempting. I have been looking at the Civic 07 EX AT in Atlanta at around $20,100 OTD. Which dealership? Private message me if you want.
I paid $17,950 + tax & licensing for the 2007 Accord LX automatic in southern CA. When I was negotiating with the sales guy I got the impression that for even ~$18,700 I could have gotten the 2007 Accord SE automatic.
When I went to the Honda dealership two days ago, I low-balled it and initially asked for $17,500 (this price includes the destination charges) for the Accord LX automatic. The sales guy initially wouldn't even budge for even less than $19,000! After half an hour or so of talking, when I realized that I wouldn't be getting the price I want, I told the sales guy that I wasn't interested in his offer and that perhaps I should go look at other cars by other makers in my price range (i.e., Toyota, Nissan). Even though the sales guy told me crap so that I'd feel uneasy about leaving, like "this offer won't be available anymore once you leave", I left. Once I got home, as expected, he called me back in the evening and convinced me to come back.
So I went back to the same dealership yesterday. While I was renegotiating the deal with the same sales guy, I realized that I had pretty good leverage b/c he revealed that 1) it's the end of the year and he had a quota to meet for his end-of-the-year bonus that he'll receive directly from Honda and 2) it's the end of the month and the dealership wants as many cars off their lot as possible. So I think from right now until 12/31 will be a great time for you to buy your Accord, too.
The entire process of talking was really tiresome and I had to listen to a lot of BS (with a forced smile) to finally get to a decent price. I really needed the car by yesterday so I took the offer at $17,950 + T&L; though I think that if I had put in some more effort I might have been able to get $17,700.
Best of wishes to you. Shoot for $17,500.
Thats a good deal you got. Last quote which I got for LX AT was for 18175 $. Can you please tell me which dealer you are referring in your mail.

2007 Accord EX-L V-6 6-Speed Manual, Black on Black
Have a quote for "On the Road" at $25400.00
Adding 8 Yr/120,000 Mile Honda Care Warranty with Zero dollar deductable for $1095.00
Are these good deals (the "On the Road" Price and the Extended Warranty Price)???
Thanks.
Sounds OK if no navigation, sounds fantastic if this includes navigation.
Just bought EX-L V6 MT (2006 leftover) w/NAVI for 26,200
Deal $700 below Edmunds/KBB invoice, I asked why after all the paperwork was signed, said they were 40 cars short of their annual sales goal (read sales manager's bonus).
Hennessey Honda Woodstock Ga Accord SE 4cyl Auto $ 19,300 + TTL, lower price but farther distance not worth $99.
Several dealers offered as much as $1000 below invoice for Accord SE 4cyl Manuals.
Breakaway Honda Greer, SC $18,399 +TTL (1 left)
Hendrick Honda Charlotte, NC $18,599 +TTL
Hennessey Honda Woodstock, GA $18,599 +TTL
OK...but with that outragious $399 charge for doc fees (in some states, by law, it can be no more than $45) he's already made some of his bonus.
Enjoy your new car.
The dealership was very nice.
I negotiated for a few hours and got my Cool Blue 2007 Accord LX for 17,931. I wish I could recall how it got to that exact number...but it did. He tried every trick in the book, taking money off one side but adding it to other spots.
I finally got him when he said that he could do the price of the car at 17,931 but would have to add a $300 "administrative" fee! Once we got to there I refused to pay the fee and after another half hour, got it waived.
This was at Atlantic Honda in Bay Shore NY. My sales "consultant" was Keith, who was a nice guy. Their "closer" was named Sam. He was the guy I negotiated with all morning. I felt like he was a bit difficult to negotiate with since he tried a lot of the tricks...but once we got really down to it, he did a good job.
I drove home in my new car today and I just love it. Thanks again for your help!
Color?
Can you please e-mail me the saleperson and any other information you believe would assist in getting the same deal? Thanks.

Thanks for all replies
Really appreciate all the info I got from this forum. Good luck with your buying process.
I just came back from a dealer in Oregon, and the dealer offered $17,300 including everything except title and registration. Unfortunately, they donot have the color that I want, and he will look for the color and let me know asap.
Thegraduate left a reply to my message in Civic forum, and recommended to buy Accord LX by just paying $500 more rather than buying Civic LX. (Thank you Thegraduate!)
It means that I can buy Accord LX auto at $17,800 including everything except title and registration???
I found that the invoice of Accord LX auto is $19,458.
I am willing to pay $18,500 for Accord LX auto including everything except title and registration.
Could anyone tell some experiences?
Happy New Year!
Fees were
- 299.75 documentation fee for the dealer (I knew that up front)
- 65 for plate transfer
- 5% MA tax on 18,200
I didn't get any extended warranties - they ofered 6/80 for $1,050 (I think I can do better through that dealers web site hondawarrantyinfo - I got extended warranty for my wife's Pilot last year, it was like $800 for 6/80).
Hope this helps,
Tomek
Dealer added tint, pin strip and mud guard. Sale price $20000. 6.25% Texas tax=$1250, .3% inventory tax=$60, Doc fee $50, TTL $127. Total $21487 OTD.
This is in North of Dallas area.
Note that I received a quote for a 4 cyl SE for less than $19,200 + TTL.
Other dealers in the area said they could not match the price and tried to charge $100 for wheel locks, which Sport Honda through in.
