Windshield weather strip adhesive

    Hey guys. What type of adhesive should I use to glue the weather strip on to the windshield? There are some spots that have a slight gap. I don't want to deal with the bodyshop ever again! Thanks

    I think 3M weatherstrip adhesive is good stuff, but it can be a bit messy, so be sure you also have the solvent that goes with it, and be sure that this solvent doesn't harm paint...it shouldn't, but no harm in testing it on some non-visible part of your car.

    And follow directions!

    I suppose an aquarium cement would also work just fine...also it's black rather than yellow like the 3M stuff.
