This is the best quote given to me. I've been emailing the dealers and each round I make, the prices continue to go down. Is this a good price? And should I stop?

    Hi

I got quote for 2014 Camry Hybrid LE, in Austin TX . They offer OTD is $26,100 with 0% for 60month.
    Is it a good deal?

I got an OTD quote of $23,092 for 2014 Camry LE from Toyota Grapevine, Texas. Have anyone got a lower price?

Just took delivery yesterday of a 2014 Camry XLE 4-Cylinder in Cosmic Gray Mica loaded with leather and Blind Spot Monitor with a sticker price of $30,375 and a selling price of $26432 - $1250 in rebates ($750 for College Grad Rebate and $500 for 0 % financing for 60 months subvention cash) for a selling price of $25182 and a drive out of $27026.42 with free bodyside molding with trade my total was $20120.17. I am in Houston and no dealer in Houston would touch that price. Had the car delivered to me from Bryan for free and they gave me the same amount as Carmax for my trade. Excellent dealer and easy transaction.

Got an OTD price for SE (with powered driver seat) for $22000 (cash offer, meaning without using their 0% finance promotion). Is this a good deal? Thanks!

Also got an OTD price for LE for $20560, through Costco program.

    Look at fitzmall.com and http://www.jimbarkleytoyota.com/Camry-Inventory.aspx

You can either shop from them directly or use their prices to negotiate down your local dealers. Looks like fitzmall has an SE in Gaithersburg, MD for $19,800, and after their $200 dealer fee you would be at 20 flat.

2014 Camry SE 4-Cyl with FE EQ CQ PD SR EF 2Q

Options: Convenience Package / Nav-Display Audio / Rear Bumper Applique / 8-way Power Driver seat / Moonroof / All weather floor mats and trunk pad
    26-Dec-2013

    $24,400.--- (edit: MSRP 28079 )

1,000 Rebate (off net after fees and taxes added)

0% financing 60-mos no money down in my case

    SW Ohio
It's possible to do about $600-800 better in this market, but didn't make the drive to achieve it.

  • parnineparnine Member Posts: 4

14' TCH XLE - Sticker MSRP $35,128 (odometer was at 15 before my test drive)

Options: FE BD CQ AY LA NV SR DK CF (in plain terms, Blind Spot Monitoring, Convenience pckg, Safety Connect, Leather, Premium Nav, Sunroof, carpet mats)

$31,629 final price with 0%/60 incentive.

Adding tax, title, reg gave OTD $33,806.24 (financed at 0% / 60mo)

Two dealers, where I negotiated face to face were in the upper 34s ($1,000 more) and let me walk and one offered $180 less over the phone. FYI this deal was negotiated over the phone.

The bad: sucks the way the options combinations seemed to be ordered. For example: all dealers had the Safety Connect (AY) for $515 MSRP if you get the premium Nav (NV), sunroof (SR) if you want leather (LA), and had Blinds Spot (BD) for $500 MSRP

The good: most dealers seem to order cars configured exactly the same so it is easy to compare apples to apples from dealer to dealer to dealer.

Nobody is buying Camry anymore? Well, anyway, just FYI, SoCal, Feb 17th, my price before TTL after rebate is $18,488 and OTD $20,984 for 2014.5 Camry LE. My sales tax is 8%. Not great but okay price given it is not even the end of the month.

Just bought a new 2013 Camry SE V6 leather pkg/ blind spot, loaded with everything + 10yr Platinum coverage in Pittsburgh Pa. Total OTD including taxes and 3.5k trade on a 2002 Camry for $25.5K.
MSRP was 32K. I put this in the 2014 section because I bought this in 2014 and it is the same as a 2014 Camry. It would have been $2.5K less if I wouldn't have bought the coverage.
I thought with all the electronics in the cars now it would be worth it.
Just thought I'd pass this along while you’re looking at the 14's, you may want to see it a 13 of equal is there. They are discounted already around 15% and take an extra 3K off. It seems to equal or better the 0% finance.

Bought a 2014 Camry XLE recently with just the protection package(mats, all seasons, net etc.). $20900 sale price (includes destination and the 2k rebate and the 750 grad rebate)+tax+tags+dealer fees of around 180. Let me know if this is a good deal. TFS% at around 2%. Will be moving this loan to my credit union as they started offering 1.24% for 65 months or 1.74% for 72 months or 3%+ for 84 months if credit score is excellent. Will go with the 65 months.

Claremont Toyota (California) has a full newspaper advertising all 2014.5 Camry SE at 19,300 including $1500 rebate. I don't know what the catch is.

I like for you to continue to use this thread to post your experience and purchase. I am in the market to purchase a new Camry and this is the only thread I've found that provides useful information. The problem is it is not very active. Please continue to post your best deal in your area.

I'm not sure what area you made your purchase. According to NADA, an I4 XLE invoice is 24200 including destination charge. Your purchase price of $ 20900 made it a sweet deal at $3300 below invoice!

According to NADAguides, the MSRP price for a Camy I4 SE is $24550 including the destination charge. I did the math and took off $1500 and that comes out to $23050. I think either the sale price is a killer deal or this vehicle is a strip down or bare bones model.

According to NADA, the invoice price of I4 SE Camry is $22413 including destination charge. Your best offer will bring it to $1213 below invoice. I think you can go lower if you shop around at other dealers.

I'm using Nada as a guide to see how much your best deal was compare to invoice price. It is not an exact price but it helps me see what others are buying in their areas.

See if you can save yourself $2500 and give them their "10 yr Platinum Coverage" warranty back. It is worthless. You bought a Toyota Camry! Good choice going for the V6 with those Pittsburgh hills. Beautiful city. I miss it.

The residual is 59% for 36mo, 12K/yr. (not showing a 10K/yr option). Sorry, but I don't have the money factor and residual information for your area. Most areas have very low money factors (.00001) and $750-$1000 lease cash. I wouldn't think NJ would be any different.

Don't buy it now if you can hold off. The 2015 camry coming out in Aug/Sep is a redesigned model and at that time you can chose between the redesigned model or a discounted 14.5 model. If you have to buy it now, you should target at least 14% discount. MD dealers are very competitive compared to NJ or PA. Try big franchise dealers like Koons, Darcars etc.

  • ankurgankurg Member Posts: 53

Spoke to a dealer in Maryland. they seem to be charging 0.00056 as Money Factor on 2014.5 Camry XLE with a residual of 54% only? This does not seem correct to me because when Toyota is offering 0% APR for 60 months on finance, then the Money Factor should be close to 0, isn't it? Also the residual value seems very low. BMW 3 series and Audi A4 have 58% residuals for same 3 years lease. Honda Accord is at 58% for EXL model.

Are the MD dealers playing games too? it certainly seems like it

Toyota handles their leases differently .. it's difficult for us to get solid numbers for them. Some manufacturers will inflate the residuals to make for better payments.

I appreciate the comments; I think the info in the comments helped me to make a better deal -- not the best deal, but decent. One dealer was 1450 higher than what I finally paid and wouldn't budge. I called the Sales Manager at Herrin Gear Toyota in Jackson MS and we did the deal over the phone. I offered 23000 out the door...He agreed.to the deal. I drove in , signed the papers with nothing down and was out the door in about 40 minutes. Purchased a 2014.5 Toyota Camry SE 22999.68 OTD with 0% interest for 72 months thru Toyota Credit It broke down close to this: Vehicle price - 22079 MS Sales Tax - 1160 Doc, & title -- 260 Subtract 500 for 0% finance promotion 22,999.68 financed at 0% interest for 72 months Monthly note - 319.44 -

    Hi All,

I have been talking with dealers between Massachusetts and North Carolina. It looks like multiple dealerships are offering 6-7K off 2014.5 Camrys. It seems some dealerships in MD and VA advertise a false savings( MSRP 27,159 -6262 Savings OUR PRICE 20,897 + tax, registration, and freight) MSRP already includes freight. Either the savings is not accurately represented, or the are essentially double charging for freight.

    Anyway-

There are many different vehicles available in VA and MD, but with charging freight after the "savings" the discount ends up being around $5-6K depending on the specific car and options. In MA and NC there are true $6K savings, but not a wide range of options.

Are there any recent purchases of the 2014.5 Camry in MA, MD, VA, NC? I am curious what sort of prices the vehicles are sold for versus the prices quoted over the phone.

Thank you for any experiences or guidance.

New to leasing and have a few questions. I saw advertised price for 2014.5 camry LE for $79 per month with $1789 down payment. I am rolling all fee's and taxes into payment. Dealer offered me $135 per month for 24 months with 10k miles allowance. I am a little confused how it totals to an extra of $56 per month from advertised. Sales tax is 7% and $2250 bonus from TFS. End of lease purchase is $15422 and MRSP is $24005. Could you confirm if it is correct and a good deal?

What state is this? Toyota lease numbers are highly regionalized. With the numbers you've provided, it looks like a 64% residual.

Any national or regional lease deal is usually just "OK". We don't recommend making any sort of down payment other than up front fees and first payment (maybe $1000 or less, depending).
