$2.39 regular vs. $3.29 for diesel!
This price difference sure takes the cost savings out of running a diesel.
87 $2.29
89 $2.39
92 $2.59

We buy biodiesel from a local collective for $3.30 -- if the majors were producing it in bulk, they'd be able to way undercut $3.30.
Central VA - 87 is $2.399
Front Royal VA (farther north) - 87 is $2.279
In south suburbs of Pittsburgh, PA - 87 is $2.289

Dayton WA Chevron - 3.02/3.12/3.22
Lowest seen is $2.39 for Regular at the Shell on Red Lion and Roosevelt Blvd.
Down another 7 cents in Georgetown, DC, to $2.83.
I expect more price drops in DC because it's usually cheaper than in Potomac.

BTW, the Shell on my way to work is now down to $2.6999/$2.7999/$2.899. I also noticed that my AAA Visa, which used to give me a 5% rebate on gas purchases, is now cutting back to 3%
My usual Sunoco truck stop, Palisades Park NJ
87 - $2.579
89 - $2.679
93 - $2.759
94 - $2.799
diesel - $2.689
Needless to say I was not alone at the diesel pumps, quite a few semis were there topping off. Most stations of this size in the area have 10 gas pumps and 2 diesel... this station is 6 and 6.

Central Virginia
$2.18.9 last night at the local Citgo. The no name gas on the way to work is down to $2.19.9
2020 Acura RDX tech SH-AWD, 2023 Maverick hybrid Lariat luxury package.
I do think it's seasonal, though. Usually, around here, diesel is about 20 cents more per gallon.

It's funny how a year ago, we would've been bitching about these prices, but now it's like, LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!! Maybe there is a Charger Hemi in my future, after all :shades:
A barrell of oil below $60 looks fairly likely by the end of the year.

I dunno. Some of those places are probably selling a 50/50 mixture of kerosene and water with rocks, sticks, and bugs in it!
We're now a mere 16 cents higher than pre-Katrina.
On my return at 9:30PM it was at $2.17
Haven't been out yet today :P
So who said it wouldn't go down as fast as it went up? (Not that I'm ditching my 4-cylinder vehicles or anything.)
$2.460 in the Chicagoland suburbs, $2.679 around Chicago-Midway airport.
