Might give them some business for routine service and the clear bra.
It was to be used to motivate the current owner to the referral of a new car purchase by a friend, etc, but can be redeemed, if you buy another Infiniti yourself, in which case you get both American Express gift cards.
Your only hope for a reward, as a new Infiniti buyer, is to find someone who already has the redemption code and is willing to team up with you.
Sorry.
So, I would imagine those old owners have all used their redemption code already? :confuse: It seems that there are several new owners here (including me) are still hoping people can team up for this gift card thing.
Anybody still holding his/her code and wants to use it? I'm in So Cal.
Did you get the $2,000 market incentive on your purchase?
Good luck.

I have recevied a quote of $2,100 below invoice from a Dealer in Los Angeles.
I have to pay $550 for the door to door delivery so the net would be $1,550
below invoice. I haven't done out-of-state purchase before and don't know the process.
Has anybody experienced out-of-state purchase?

FYI in the $39 oil change they did all of the inspections (brakes, fluids, tires, filters, etc) required per the Infiniti mainteance schedule.

I don't think we really need this for AWD but I think we should do this every 10-15K miles for FWD.

sorry for late response. 09 Journey, Premium package (MSRP $37,225), paid all cash $34,600 out-of-door. Did I pay too much or is that a good deal?
I don't know if inventory is thinning out or if finding models with this package combination has always been challenging, but there aren't a lot of them around. One of the local dealers found only a few in the NE region (Mass, NY, IL, and the one in NoVA I ended up purchasing). I was really hoping for a stone (gray) interior, but black seems to be the prevailing color (maybe only with sport package?).
As for competition, I also looked at/drove:
328i xDrive: Drove/handled superbly (as expected), but iDrive--for all its improvements over the past few years--is still clunky, and the option list quickly raises the price; a similarly loaded 328 ran close to $49k (and the 335, which is a more natural engine competitor, is well over fifty large, which is crazy)
TL SH-AWD: Nice car--handled better than I expected, but definitely not as sharply as the G37. Very roomy. The interior is handsome but the button and dash layout/design is highly confusing--the G37 feels much more intuitive by comparison.
IS 250AWD: Good handling reflexes, if somewhat more relaxed than most of the rest. Competent and smooth engine but nowhere near the power of the G37 or the TL. Highly refined and logical interior, but backseat is painfully small. Too bad they don't offer an IS 350AWD.
A4 2.0T: Surprisingly disappointing. Interior materials and design were top-notch, of course, but the handling felt very remote and disconnected; it may have been a function of the overboosted steering, but it definitely didn't inspire confidence. And the DVD-based NAV system felt like something out of 2002 (it was especially annoying since a large display in the showroom talked about the next generation NAV system in the Q5--these guys should figure out how to upgrade the entire line at the same time).
Cheers.

I went through Passport Infiniti here in NOVA because the Tyson's dealership didn't have much of any selection...I went with the 37S, Silver, navigation and black interior.
How did the negotiations go...I'm curious if they offered you the same 1.9% they were offering back in April.
Thanks!
And, likewise, I'll be purchasing through Passport. I never even visited in person--did all the negotiations by phone since I live close to Baltimore. I'll be paying cash, so we didn't discuss financing specials (and that also may be why I was able to get such a good deal). They seemed to dig in their heels after one round of phone calls and gave me their best "we'll do it at this price but we can't go any lower because we're just breaking even" offer, but then were willing to drop it another $300 later that day when they saw I was willing to go with another dealer.
BTW, how do you find the black leather? I'm dreading how hot it will be in the summer sun...
I have black leather in Phoenix. Black heats up quicker, but after a half hour in the sun black leather is no hotter than tan leather.
