    I'm looking at a 2009 G37xS demo with 5k miles.
I've negotiated the lease on the new car from
$42,425 to $38k and change (including loyalty $1k)
How much can I hope to negotiate off the demo with 5k miles?
    Thanks in advance...

Personally, I have the same aversion to demo cars that I do to PC's that have been running on the the Best Buy floor for six months. That being said, I'd think you should be able to get it for at least $6-8k off the selling price (i.e. $30-32k). They may balk at first, but if you show them the money my hunch is they'll probably take it.

I have a quick question about financing a new Infiniti G37 for a current Nissan Motors finance customer. I currently have a G35 lease with Nissan Motors and got Tier 0 at the time of financing. Since financing that I've had some mortgage problems and my score has dropped. I've heard that if you are a current/previous Nissan Motors lease or loan holder and you are in good standing with them they automatically give you tier 0 without a credit check. Do you know if this is true? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Before my lease expired last year I received the brochure from Infiniti that encourages you to get another Infiniti. One piece was a card that had an automatic lease approval for up to $xxx without a credit check. That amount was over $100 more then the lease I had with them.

When I leased my new G I gave it to the dealer since they were getting ready to run a credit check. They did not run the check and I was on my way. However, a couple of days later I received notice from my credit monitoring service (not freecreditreport.com btw :) ) that Infiniti finance had run a credit check.

What would have happened if my credit had dropped? I don't think anything since I already had a signed lease.

I'm interested in the base G37 and received and internet quote from a Chicagoland dealer for $30015 plus tax/title after a $2000 retail cash incentive. I don't know yet if this includes dest. charge, but, if not, it doesn't seem to be that great. According to the Edmunds TMV, I should expect $31469 + $865 dest = $32334. I'd love to hear from others about their experience and prices paid. Thanks!
  • kingpcgeekkingpcgeek Member Posts: 1,051
If you have a dealer that is quoting a price without destination I would run, not walk away. Destination should always be included in the selling price. Remember that $2000 is not available with leasing or special finance rates.

Looking at new 08 G37 coupe 6MT at $7000 off MSRP. Also trading in my 2007 G35 coupe with 27,000 miles and they offered 22,600 for trade. Seems like a pretty good deal, what do you all think?? Please let me know any comments.
  • gooddeal2gooddeal2 Member Posts: 750
    I say $22,600 for a '07 coupe w/ 27000 miles is very good. When I traded in my '05 coupe w/ only ~15K miles in late '06, I got around mid 23K.

    Help!

I am looking to buy a 09 G37x with premium and navi. I was quoted $38000 (that's taking the finance offer). Edmunds invoices it as $37,748. I see that others have recieved better deals earlier in the year, should try to negotiate lower. Also is it crazy to ask for free maintenance or Remote start (saw that on a previous post).

This is my first new car and i don't want to overpay :)

    Thanks!

I got offered $38,282 for a g37 AWD Coupe 09 with Premium and Navi pkgs.
    MSRP: 44,825
    Invoice price: 41,161
but there is a 2,500 rebate for this month...has anyone bought the car for a better price???
  • xyzedxyzed Member Posts: 4
I believe you are paying too much. Last month I purchased a g37x sedan (mats, splash guards, trunk mat included)w/premium only for 33630 + TTL in NY . I believe you would add a few hundred dollars for nav. I provided my own financing. good luck
  • joncar1joncar1 Member Posts: 7
I thought the rebate was $2000 from Infiniti. How are the dealers able to offer $500 or more? Are they selling at a loss to move them? I doubt it, but would be good to know. I am negotiating now and have $2000 off.
  • traz2traz2 Member Posts: 4
They told me the rebate for the COUPE AWDx is 2,500 until June 30th.
mena1583...you are talking about a sedan, im going for the coupe...there's a big price difference i believe?

Now they are offering me 38, 061 with an out the door price of 41, 069.27
Can anyone tell me if I could go lower?? has anyone bought this car for cheaper?? I am closing the deal in 4 hours!

and i found the real invoice price which is 38,600!

The current incentives expire the end of June. A car wreck has put me in the market but I can't find the car I want. I'm about to pull the trigger on a Maxima but I'll deal with the wait if the July Infinity incentives are as good or better than the current incentives.

Does anyone here know the answer? Help is gratefully appreciated.
  • kingpcgeekkingpcgeek Member Posts: 1,051
No one will know about July incentives until probably July 1st, or more likely July 6th.

Thanks. I got an email back explaining that this price does indeed include dest. charges. It seems like a decent price, but I get nervous when I see other posts boasting a price under invoice. Looking at the $31469 TMV price, I assume that this would be prior to the cash incentive, so it would seem that I have an additional $600-700 wiggle room.

Tomorrow I pick up a 2009 G37xS, black/stone, with navi, tech, premium and sport packages (also trunk mat, cargo net). The sticker is $43,525 including destination. My price: $38,217 plus TTL. I am in Chicago and worked with a great dealer Infiniti of Orland Park). Gave me a great price quote via email and did not play any games when I went to the dealership.

Nice...I just picked up nearly exactly the same car last weekend (except mine is platinum/graphite), and I managed to get about the same deal (a couple of hundred less, but not a big deal). What's amusing is that I think I almost bought your car! I was looking for an XS with nav/tech/prem/sport, and a local dealer found only a small handful of them in the northeast corner of the country. One of them was in the "Chicago area," so I'm assuming it was yours. I ended up finding a closer in in NoVA, but anyway, enjoy. It's a fantastic car.

    Hello Everyone,

I just recently purchased a G37 Coupe and I am looking for a current infiniti owner to pair up with to redeem my american express gift card. If you purchased an Infiniti in the past 2-3 years, you probably received a mailer from Infiniti giving you a chance to redeem a $150 dollar american express gift card. Basically if you referred someone to purchase a new infiniti, you can go on the infiniti website and enter in a promotion code they sent you, and infiniti will mail you and the new owner the gift cards. Its actually very simple. So if you have the promotion mailer please email me ASAP. Also if you lost the promotion code, no big deal, you can call the 1-800 infiniti customer support and tell them you lost the promotion code number and they will give it to you. Please email me at dasani85@gmail.com if you are interested. The website to redeem the american express card is listed below, but you must have the promotional code from infiniti

    Thanks for you help

What month did they do the 0.9% financing for 60 months last year? What is everybody's gut feel whether they'll do it again this year?

They have 0% now but for that they won't give you a good deal. It's one or the other.

IN your drive off fees the bank fee is 595 and the car is 488. What is the other $1000.00 dollars? Most of the people I talked to on this car suggest the 39 month lease for the Infiniti. Sometimes the 39 months gets the monthly fee lower depending on how the deal is structured. since three people told me this you should ask the dealer about it. Maybe they quoted you on 39 months and you thought it was 36.

Did this include the NAV? That car has a very nice NAV from what I saw in a test drive. Seems like you have found a pretty good deal so far depending on a few things.

    Rob
  • mjdvmjdv Member Posts: 14
It's only 0.9% for 36 months or 2.9% for 60 months. Last year, I think it was 0.9% for 60 months. That's a pretty big difference. Does anybody know?
  • rhard49rhard49 Member Posts: 226
I bought my 08 G35X in November for a little over 5k off list with .9 percent for 60 month. The trade off at the time was the ,9 for 60 months or and additional 3k discount without the point 9. For me the .9 was 121.00 cheaper over 5 years than taking the 3k and typical 5.5 percent financing. The point 9 made the payments palitableI so I went for the lower payment it was interesting when you looked at the amortization schedule and how many months it takes to cross vs taking the money up front. I used the banknote.com cash vs percentage rate calculator to evaluate my deal. If I remember correctly the crossover point was 2+ years into the car.
  • mjdvmjdv Member Posts: 14
Thanks rhard49. That was a really good deal you got last year. I'm still on the fence right now and in no rush to buy one yet unless the deals get even better =).

I was looking at the old posts from last year and this is what I got.

    Sep 08
    - $3,000 mfg to dealer cash (cannot be combined with 0.9% for 60mos financing)
    - 0.9% financing for 60mos (cannot be combined with $3,000 mfg to dealer cash)

    Oct 08
    - $3,000 mfg to dealer cash (cannot be combined with 0.9% for 60mos financing)
    - 0.9% financing for 60mos (cannot be combined with $3,000 mfg to dealer cash)
    - $1,000 mfg to consumer rebate (can be combined with 0.9% financing for 60mos)

Thank you, mjdv, for summing up incentives for Sept and Oct of 08. Would you mind sharing what kind of incentive was offered in Aug 08?

We can wait till Sept to take advantage of the incentives, but I also heard a rumor that Infiniti is manufacturing less # of cars this year, so there would smaller inventory with dealers. So, I am little concerned that I may not get my choice of G37 Sedan in Sept. Can anybody shed more light on it? If my concern is valid, then I would like to purchase in Aug. Thank you!

Have three quotes for a Jouney sedan without premium in the Phoenix area.

    A) $1,789 over invoice
    B) $1,157 over invoice
    C) $1,131 over invoice.

I leased a G35 Sedan from Dealer B for $388 over invoice last August. They agreed to $100 last year but then tacked on $288 of dealer add-ons. Heck the first offer from all of the dealers last year was $500 over invoice.

So how with sales figures down for Nissan down over 25% in June over a already crummy year in 2008 am I getting such bad offers.

Dealer A, the highest is Peoria. They did offer 2 years of maintenance, but its a 120 mile round trip to the dealer so its not a perk for me.

When leasing I cannot get the $2,500 dealer cash, but I do get the $1000 lease loyalty cash. The 3 quotes I listed do not include the $1000.

$1000 lease loyalty cash? Is this a nationwide program available for leases in July? None of my Infiniti dealers have even mentioned that there were any incentives for leasing. We're negotiating for a G37 Coupe with Journey, Prem, & Nav. and stuggling to get any good numbers in FL.
  • carnaughtcarnaught Member Posts: 3,497
I discussed the 0% financing option on the G37 and at the time of negotiation, my dealer failed to mention their $2500 cash back on the car if the 0% was not taken advantage of. It would have affected my negotiations if I would have known. That's why car dealers are not high on the food chain.
  • kingpcgeekkingpcgeek Member Posts: 1,051
Edmunds is now listing the $2,500 dealer cash through August. No mention of $1,000 loyalty lease cash, but a local dealer has it on their site: Infiniti of Scottsdale
