$1,082 $655 - I would do this option.
$3,000 $597
$5,000 $535
The payments have the sales tax included.
The cap cost (sale price) is $46,610 after all of the discounts are factored in, including the $750 lease cash currently being offered. There is a $925 acquisition fee that BMW charges added back in to the cap cost. so a net cap of $47,535.
Residual is 60% of the MSRP or $31,620
The money factor is .00195
The up front money is your first monthly payment, license fee, doc fee and tax on the $750 rebate ($73.50)
Thanks in advance for your help!!
2) I show the base MF for the 335xi sedan as .00175.. If you are a returning customer, the loyalty rate is .00145.. It looks like they are marking up your rate for extra profit.. If you aren't a returning customer, and aren't making a security deposit (.00015 bump for that), then they aren't marking it up much...
3) On your first option, I calculate $596/mo.+ tax.. The payment looks correct with those parameters if your sales tax is nearly 10%.. That's assuming your state taxes the monthly payment..

I'm relatively new at this and would like to close on a deal on Friday. Will appreciate if you can advise if this is a good deal.
2011 335 i X
10K miles per year
36 month lease
Includes: Nav, Premium, cold weather package, rear park sensor, HK audio package,Dakota leather.
MSRP - $52,300

Due at signing - $3219
which includes:
Motor vehicle fee - $502.27
NJ Tax - $1377.80

Bank fee -$725
First month - $526.61
Tire & lease fee - $12.50
Monthly - $526.61
Thank you in advance.
I'm in IL, so these options are all Owner's Choice rather than traditional leases so I can avoid the monthly use tax. Anyway, I have a couple of initial offers, and I'd like help knowing how to proceed.
Option 1
2011 BMW 325i
Dealer demo w/2800 miles
Premium package
Cold weather package
Price $35,900
OC Interest 5.5%
Residual 62.5%
Monthly payment ~ $510
Option 2
2011 BMW 325xi
Brand new
Premium package
heated seats
heated steering wheel
Price $38,580
OC interest 7.2%
Residual 63%
Monthly payment ~ $599
Both are for 36K/36mo. I realize they're not the same car. xDrives are more common here, but I'm happy with RWD. I'm also not worried about the differences in features. I'd be happy with either car. I just want to figure out the best deal for each of them. So, my questions are
1. What % of MSRP should I be paying for a demo with 2800 miles? The price he quoted (option 1) is a discount of about 9.9% off MSRP.
2. What % of MSRP should I be paying for a new car? The price quoted there (option 2) is 5.6% below sticker.
3. How low can OC interest go? My credit score is 825.
From what I can tell from other posts, I should be able to get 10% below sticker for a new car, so I'm hoping even lower for a demo. Anyone else out there with Owner's Choice interest rates to compare?
Thanks for your help!

$428/month with only $428 down owner's choice on any 328i with an msrp under $39,000. The balloon payment at the end of the 3 years 36 month/12k mile terms is $24,960. I am not sure what the money factor will be. They are bringing it in from their port warehouse.
I guess I wanted to get your feedback on the owner's choice program. In 3 years does 24,960 seem reasonable?
Thanks,
Dallas, TX
p.s. let me know if i should post on the forum.
You say balloon payment, but the mileage limit indicates lease. If it is a lease, the residual really doesn't matter in this case. If the car is worth less than the residual at lease end, then just give the car back and walk away. If it is worth more, than you can buy it at a bargain price.

By doing the balloon note, you have title to the car, and can take advantage of the trade-in sales tax credit.
I think the reason there are mileage limitations, is because Owners Choice allows you to return the car, instead of paying the balloon amount..

If you have real info - please let me know as I want to order a new 2012 328xi for Euro delivery soon. Otherwise I will buy a used A4 Avant. It is a crazy shame how many Euro wagons are no longer being brought into the US - V70, V50, C300, A6, 535, Passat... I sure hope the 328xi isn't next, especially since it is one of the last to offer a manual.
Here is the deal i closed:

Need to know ASAP
As for the numbers, the new lease figures should be 0.00190 money factor and 61% residual if I remember correctly. Assuming you're paying all the fees up front, then I make the payment to be $451 plus tax. Because it's used, they'll be using different figures.
If you were to buy the same car new, and get it for $41,000, then your monthly should be around $512+tax.
Bear in mind, I'm no professional at this. Just pulling in info from different sources. I did sell Infinitis for a couple of years though
I am seeing $1,000 bonus cash (loyalty) and $750 dealer cash. Is there also a reduction in the money factor for a returning customer?
How does the $3,500 ECO credit work on the BMW 335d - is this a discount? I typically can get a deal $750 to $1,000 above invoice - so can I subtract the $3,500 from that price?
Thanks

$550 a month for 10 k miles/year
The car has premium pkg and value pkg with nav Sirius satellite radio, iPod adapter
Please help. Don't know how to negotiate dealer says it's a 46k car
Thanks for the information. Where did you get the $1,500 behind invoice? It is typically difficult to get behind invoice on a BMW unless there is some program supporting it.
If I were to offer $43,795 (per the example) the dealer would be making zero on the car - correct?
Do you have current rates for a 335i sedan (3 years, 10k miles per year)?
Thanks

Edmunds gives a TMV of 50,354. I am assuming that includes the 3500 eco credit, but not the 1750 for loyalty / finance.
For a 2011, I think I should be getting closer to invoice, however I saw an earlier post talking about prices up to 1500 _under_ invoice. Is there a factory to dealer incentive that I'm missing somewhere?
