Dealer ready to give me my choice of Audi A6 2014 for invoice + $500 plus tax plus title plus document fees.

Is this a good deal? Can not find much on audi forum here.

    2014 Audi A6 3.0T Quattro tiptronic - Prestige model

Power rear sunshade and manual side shades
    Rear side airbags
    Audi guard all-weather floor mats
    Black cloth headliner
    Front filler panel
    Fine grain ash natural inlays
    Cargo net
    Cold weather package
    LED headlights w/LED DRLs
    A6 prestige model

    DAG fees - 307.38
    Preparation and inspection 195.00

Total 58575.38 Mentioned on invoice. Delaer gave me the copy of invoice.

Edmunds Invoice $58073 but has no preparation and inspection fees in it so add 195.00 and Edmunds mentions Advertising fees but says Not Available so can not add it. But from invoice it is 307.38

Dealer wants $500 over invoice so total = 59075.38 + Sales Tax for the state + lic and title ($285) + Document fees ($135)

    How is this deal?

I have read some posts on DAG fees and Preparation and inspection fees mentioned on invoice for AUDI - what is it? Do I need to pay it or is it negotiable?

    Thanks

I executed a deal about a month ago here in CT for similar car (should take delivery in early September. Here's some specs:
    2014 A6 3.0 quattro
    Prestige package
    Moonlight Blue exterior
    Grey interior
    Cold weather package

    MSRP $59,795 (excludes DAG/inspection)
    Invoice $56,160 (includes $483 for DAG/inspection)

Negotiated Purchase Price $56,660 ($500 over invoice). This is before the New Owner Acquisition $1,500 incentive which I should get when take delivery since I'm moving from a BMW. All said and done, I should be $1,000 below invoice. Taxes excluded. Reg/title & dealer doc fee add about an incremental $600.

Hope this helps and welcome others' thoughts.

    Just bought one...

    2014 A6 3.0
    Prestige
    19" Sport
    Black Optic
    Cold Weather
    LED Headlights

    Paid Invoice + $250 + various made-up fees of $630
    Less $1500 conquest loyalty

Also did a trade-in - worked that out separately and after working out the car price.

Seems like some people are paying below invoice. How can a dealer allow this?

I too am looking to get into a 2014 A6 2.0T FWD with prem plus package, rear shades, and rear airbags. MSRP on the vehicle is 49,645. Invoice is 46,238. True Market Value according to Edmunds is 46,952 including destination fee.

I am coming out of an Audi lease so there is a loyalty incentive in there of some amount.

Can someone explain how to come up with a 'fair' purchase price? And what that number should be?

    Thanks in advance.

I forgot to come back here and post what we paid for our A6 back in April 2014.

    A6 Prestige TDI, Daytona Gray
    Sport Package
    All-weather floor mats
    Cargo net
    First aid kit

    MSRP: $63,565
    Invoice: $59,184
    We paid: $59,587

    Other fees:
    Document: $80
    Sales Tax: $5220.86
    DMV: $29
    License: $507.75
    BMW Switcher Rebate: -$1500

    Total price paid, OTD: $63924.61

Bought from Audi Monterey Peninsula, who did a top notch job during the whole transaction. Honest, straightforward, helpful, and quite frankly just nice people. It was refreshing to find a dealership that isn't full of slimebags. Would go back there in a heartbeat, and would highly recommend them.
