Although I am very comfortable going through the negotiations of purchasing a new car, there are many people who, for a variety of reasons, dread purchasing a new car and, often times, they don't get a competitive deal. For that group, I believe using an auto broker makes sense.
(Note: I am not a broker and have no financial interest with this broker, other than I am very grateful for their great price and excellent service.)
My 2010 M35 with Tech + accessories was $40,500 before taxes/title/license. This is a GREAT price for here in Northern California, where 2 local dealers were offering me $46,000+.

I hate to break it to you, but if you check the posts of the last 2 weeks, you will see $40,500 for a $50,120 M35 is NOT a great deal. Even SewellGSM said that you should get at least $10k off MSRP. If fact, several people have posted that they paid well under $40k. But, hey, you were spared all the work, trouble, and stress associated with negotiation. As long as YOU are satisfied with the price you paid and enjoy the new car, that is what counts.
PS M's are about done - there are only about 12 left in Dallas (all 3 dealers combined).
LOL. Not just the customer, but no stress for dealership, either. However, the buyer is the one picking up the tab.
Bottomline is, one has to do at least some homework even if he/she is going to use a broker. Otherwise, you may as well just buy from CarsDirect.com or Costco and be done with it. It is going to be hard to beat their prices with a middlemen involve.

Mrsp was 51,770. M35s with sport package, tech, and carpeted trunk mat.
Price was 39,000 plus 698 doc fee, 250 title fee(purchased out of state), so basically about 40,000 plus tax for the vehicle. I know the doc fee was super high, but with the price of the vehicle, i felt it was still a good deal. Good luck to all looking for whats still available. Paul
This would be greatly appreciated. My most recent quote was:
2010 M35x with advanced tech and spoiler
$3,200 total due at signing $462 per month
39 months / 12k used VPP, $2K loyalty, $2,500 dealer
is this a good deal?
2010 M35x – Blue Slate / Wheat Interior

$44,228.19 (VPP, $2,500 dealer cash, $2,000 lease loyalty)
Lease 39 months / 12K miles per year
$540.54/month
Only 1st month’s payment due at signing ($540.54)
Fees and NYS taxes rolled into payment
Residual – 48%
Money Factor – 0.00036
Is this a good deal?
Thanks for all of your help.
Keep in mind this has the tech AND advanced tech packages.
Good deal now? Again, 39 months 12k miles per year on the AWD Model.
I've lingered here for several months. Your posts are very valuable and appreciated. My question: 2011 M will be in showrooms within the next few weeks? My dealer says absolutely no discounts at first. This means I won't buy until dealers are ready to deal....can you provide an educated guess when there might be deals on the '11 M? Maybe the holidays? Really like the new M but I'll never pay full retail on a car period. My parents taught me about "delayed gratification". Thanks again!
2010 m35x advance tech,
18 thousand miles,
675 a month, sign and drive, they are taking back my other lease car 3 months earlier.
2010 M35: Special Rates + $2000 OR $7000 OR Lease w/ $2500 plus $2000 Lease Loyalty Rebate if you own an Infiniti
3 ways to acquire a new M....
PS Plus the dealer discount which should be about $3000....

I got this from 2 dealers, however, only one had the wheat interior (a lot of black on graphite).
What do you think? It works out to be about $12,500 off of MSRP.
Also, for those of you looking for pricing, Infiniti updated their website with the 2011 M and current offers. Both lease and purchase pricing are out there under "Current Offers" (running 2.9% for 60 months on both M's). Also they are running 3.9% on 72 months - something to consider against the lease when you look at side by side comparison (lease vs. buy). The dealer in my area is only willing to discount about $1,500 off of MSRP as of today. I did speak to another dealer in the area and they said they would go to $2,000 off MSRP but reconsider in a month depending on sales volume.

If you do lease an infiniti, use multiple security deposits to lower the cost of the lease.
