Went through with the lease today. Some confusion at the dealership, we were told that we were not eligible for the $1,000 Infiniti lease discount. The sale price was also not what I list above, it was higher. However, they did some other things for us to make the deal go through.

    FX37 AWD with Premium Package

    MSRP: $51,735

    Sale Price: $48,685.33

    15/K miles per year

    Due at signing: $4,934

    Monthly: $549.31

    Total payments: $21,423.09

    Residual: $27,936.90

They increased the trade-in amount from $22,000 to $23,462, and included the installation of the tow hitch for no charge.

Thanks to this thread, I made sure we got the correct money rate of .00078 and 54% residual. The spread on the trade covered all but $700 of the upfront fee.

It's done now obviously, but would be interested in knowing how you think we did. Thanks.

Finally able to hand over my G37 (couldn't have been soon enough) and intend to return to the FX - ASAP. To ensure I'm properly educated before going to the dealership, would you please provide the February numbers for an FX37, RWD, 12K lease?

Also, from the way I understand Infiniti's current incentives, they're actually allowing us to combine the $2K dealer cash with the $1K loyalty $ (plus there's another $1K available for purchases - assuming IFS financing). Is this correct?

    Thanks in advance, Car_man!

And one more question to the forum . . . . I'm debating whether to add the Touring Pkg on top of the Premium Pkg and would certainly appreciate input from anyone who's already purchased.

    Thanks much.

Hi alfstinky1. Infiniti Financial Services' February buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 39-month lease of a 2013 FX37 AWD with 10,000 miles per year are .00078 and 56% for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

Hi texas2685. Why didn't you like the G? Too small?

Infiniti Financial Services' February buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36-month lease of a 2013 FX37 RWD with 12,000 miles per year are .00042 and 54% for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

There is a $1,500 cash incentive on leases of this truck right now. The two grand is only available on purchases. There is an additional $1,000 loyalty cash on leases, so you would be eligible for a total of $2,500 on a lease of a '13 FX35.

Thanks for the quick & helpful response, Car_man!

In the interim, talked with my dealer and was offered the following 2 "deals":

    1) W/ Premium Pkg - MSRP: $51,640; Sales Price: $46,892; Acquisition, Govt., Doc Fees: $967; Taxes (Texas!): $1,563; Gr. Cap Cost: $49,421; Rebate: $1K; Net Cap: $ 49,040. On a 39-mo, 12K (tier 1), I'm told the MF is .00089, with a 52% residual.

    2) With Premium & Touring & Chrome Wheels, etc. (but a Demo, with 4K miles) - MSRP: $55,740; same fees of $967; Taxes: $1,720; Gr. Cap: $52,086; Net Cap: $51,741.

I know you listed the MF & Resididual for a 36 mo, so I'm not sure where the 39-mo numbers should be. To me, it seems the prices are reasonable, but the MF too high, with a low residual.

Your thoughts on these 2 options? How would you counter?

As for our G37 saga . . . . We were one of the "lucky" with the powertrain immediately failing. While Infiniti of course repaired it, they refused to replace the car. We've never been happy with the ride but had too many other things going on to keep fighting. And, for most of our lease, they continued to deny any problems with our model; however, I understand a TSB was finally issued. Yes, I'd also say it's too small and too low to the ground; I guess our previous FX spoiled us. Fortunately, I've been told the newer powertrains/transmissions have been improved - Sure hope so!

You've continually done an amazing job with this forum, always sharing your wealth of info. Many thanks!

Hope you enjoyed and/or survived Valentine's Day.

I've been working on my deal and have gotten more pleased with the terms. We've decided on a FX37 RWD, Premium + Touring (new -NOT the demo originally mentioned), with cross bars, splash guards, and cargo organizer (I know; who cares about the latter?!). Anyway, here are the details, and I'd really appreciate your input:

    39-mo, 12K
    MSRP - $53,585
    Sales Price - $48,469 ($49,469 - $1K loyalty)
    MF - .00051; Residual - 54%
In addition, they'll give me a $400 tax credit based on the G. With 0 down, monthly pmts will come in around $618.

What are your thoughts, Car_man? Do you think we've gotten to the point of doing it? If so, I intend to finalize today, so I really appreciate your response.

    Thanks again!

Hi ncluvluxcars. Infiniti Financial Services' current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36-month lease of a 2013 FX37 AWD with 15,000 miles per year are .00089 and 56% for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 39-month lease are .00096 and 55%.

Infiniti is currently providing a $1,500 cash incentive on leases of this truck.

Please see my previous post for the information that you're looking for. The residual value for a lease with only 10,000 miles per year would be 2% higher.

    Hello Carman,

First of all thank you for your great work here.

This is my first time lease and would appreciate if you could give me what would be considered to be e very good lease (for me to go and hunt down). I have excellent credit.

    I'm looking to lease a new 2013 FX50 MSRP $69,860, invoice is $64,500.

I kindly ask you to provide me with all numbers I need, including the monthly rate etc for both 39 m term and 24 month term.

Initially i wanted to buy this car, but now I'm thinking to lease and buy it in 2y when infiniti will release the newly designed FX, with hybrid engine, direct injection, panorama and all the goodies.

Thank you so much in advance!

You're welcome alessiocesar. Infiniti Financial Services' May buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 39-month lease of a 2013 FX50 with 15,000 miles per year are .00131 and 52% for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 24-month lease are .00148 and 61%.

Shoot for a selling price of as close to dealer invoice as possible.

    Hi,

I'm only starting to look at the car, did a bit of research. What does the cap cost include (is it just the car, or any of the fees)?

If the cap cost is the price of the car, it looks to be close to invoice ($48,916), which does not account for the $1,500 dealer cash (in addition to owner loyalty).

Don't know if this applies in today's market for the FX (haven't started negotiating yet), but the cap cost (i.e. sales price) for my last three leases was about $300 below invoice minus all rebates, which in this case should be around $47,000.

That's what (I hope) a good deal will look like, but time will tell.

If you can, please post back on your progress.

    Good luck!
  • gunya108gunya108 Member Posts: 2
They did not include Dealer cash. I was not doing the deal in the dealership using a leasing company that negotiates with the dealerships. Cap cost included 1200 and change...Got the car already because my lease was over and need it a car asap. Been using this company for 3 years already they always give best prices, so I just took the deal. For some reason there are not many FX's around so I jumped on the deal. Thought to ask for opinion here even though the car is in my garage already. The infinity dealership was in NJ, the leasing company is in Brooklyn NY

    Hi Car_man,

can you share the residuals/MFs for the FX37 with 10/12k/year and lease terms between 24 and 39 months?

Also, I understand there is $1,500 in lease cash, and $1,000 in customer loyalty cash on the truck - are there any other incentives to be aware of?

    Thank you in advance.

I'd be happy to work up a payment on this vehicle for you if you provide me with its full MSRP and dealer invoice price, exactly as you want it equipped. You can find that information here: New Vehicle Pricing.

I did thanks user111. Both the money factor and selling price that you mentioned for this truck look great. This seems like a good deal for an FX35 to me.

I'd be happy to zheka212. Infiniti Financial Services' June buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 24-month lease of a 2013 FX37 AWD with 12,000 miles per year are .00049 and 65% for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 39-month lease are .00079 and 56%.

The residual values for a lease with 10,000 miles per year would be 1% higher.

The cash incentives that you mentioned are the only ones that I am aware of on leases of this model.

The IFS acquisition fee is $700. It can be paid upfront or rolled into the lease payment (if the latter, you'll need to add it to the CAP cost for calculation)
