Wow, that sounds really appealing. One reservation though, ... The restyled 2008 FX won't likely be out by June of next year. So that means you'll have to get out, and wait for the '08 FX sometime later in the year, (Maybe even Jan. '08? ... The '03 FX had a Jan. '03 release I believe.), ... Re-commit to the one you have, or get into something else in the interim. Any thoughts?

    Hi:
My salesman just offered me invoice + $650 before for an 06 FX35 AWD w/touring and hands-free options - I think should be less, maybe around invoice +/- a bit (the car has been on the lot only 3 weeks).

Given current gas prices, the FX's decreased sales from 5/2005 to 5/2006, and the 07 coming out in 3-4 months, I'm thinking a rebate/incentive may be coming out within the next month or so. Should I wait? What are your thoughts on the price, rebate idea/etc? I posted in the leasing section b/c there's no action in any other thread.
    Regards,
    Deanie

Picked it up last night so it looks like I'm committed! I love it though. Despite the relentless rain we're getting here in New England, it's a blast to drive.

I'm hearing that Infiniti may let you extend your lease if you hint that you're waiting to get another Inifiniti (like an 08'). If that's the case, and I like the 08's, then maybe I can extend my current lease until the new style comes out. We'll see what happens. In the meantime, I'm thrilled with my FX and equally as thrilled to no longer be driving my Saab...

Last thing, my residual went up with the installation of Sirius (?) thus the additional savings in payment.

Here you go, Stew. If you were to lease a 2006 Infiniti FX35 AWD through Infiniti Financial Services right now for 36 months with 15,000 miles per year, its buy rate lease money factor and residual value should be .00141 and 56%, respectively. The numbers for an otherwise identical 39 month lease should be .00156 and 55%. the numbers for an otherwise identical 42 month lease should be .00210 and 52%.

Hi clif3. If you were to lease a 2006 Infiniti FX35 2WD through IFS right now for 24 months with 15,000 miles per year, its buy rate lease money factor and residual value should be .00116 and 68%, respectively. The numbers for the other terms that you mentioned are as follows: .00154 / 56% for 36 months, .00185 / 55% for 39 months, .00219 / 53% for 42 months, and .00184 / 44% for 48 months.

No problem, scanty. Infiniti is offering very attractive special 12 month leases on the 2006 FX35 AWD and G35 Coupe this month. I believe that the buy rate lease money factor and residual value associated with the FS's 12 month program are .00053 and 81% with 15,000 miles per year.

Hi Deanie. Even if Infiniti does offer dealer cash on the FX35 in the next month or two it probably will not be compatible with special leases through Infiniti Financial Services. Infiniti will probably increase its lease money factor support on the '06 FX at some point, but the fact that vehicles residual values gradually fall as the model year progresses will offset at least some of any potential enhancement.

Hi Lany. A base 2006 Infiniti FX35 AWD has a spread of a little over $3,100 between its full MSRP and dealer invoice prices. You are being given a discount of $2,660 on the model that you are interested in. This looks like a reasonable price to me. You may be able to get additional feedback on this price by visiting the following discussion: "Infiniti FX45 / FX35: Prices Paid & Buying Experience". Using the prices that you mentioned in your post, an MSRP of $40,058 and a selling price of $37,399, and Infiniti Financial Services' base lease program I estimate that this vehicle's 36 month, 12,000 mile per year, zero down, pre-tax monthly payment should be around $490. With this lease, all you would have to pay at lease signing are your vehicle's first month's payment, a $500 security deposit, and IFS' $550 acquisition fee. If you aren't making any sort of cap cost reduction for the lease that you posted info about, the payment is fine. If you are, just make sure that the dealer you are working with is using IFS' buy rate lease money factor of .00141 to calculate your FX's payment.

Picked up the '06 FX35 AWD with touring, hands free, mud flaps and cargo mat last week. Diamond Graphite with Willow interior. I love this car! What a joy to drive.

I did a 39/12k lease. With EVERYTHING rolled in the lease (acquisition, license, registration, security deposit waived - my only OTD was my first payment) I'm at $547, including 7.075% tax.

For comparison, the 12 month lease payment was $527. I knew I wouldn't be ready to do this all again in a year, so I took the longer term.

I didn't buy anything in the F&I office, but there was something that sounded interesting. It was a wheel & tire insurance plan. Up front cost of ~$350 will pay for repairs to damaged tires and wheels. I know what it costs to repair or replace a wheel so the cost of the plan seemed pretty reasonable. I keep my insurance deductible at $500, and wouldn't make a claim for something minor like that anyway. Opinions?

Thanks again to the Car_Man for your help. :)

Car_Man: I see information about great programs like the 12 month leases on the FX and G on the forums, but is there anywhere that this information is publicly available? I check ed Edmunds' rebates and incentives page for Infiniti, and it lists no lease deals right now.

What I'm looking for is a place to see what special programs Infiniti FS (and other financing arms) have going on at any given time. Is there somewhere on Edmunds.com or elsewhere I can get this, other than trolling the Townhall leasing forums all the time?

Just picked up a loaded ivory FX-35 - tech, touring, hands-free, dvd, cross bars, splash guards, cargo protector, tow hitch - all in a 12 month lease w/ 15000 mi. Beautiful wheat interior MSRP $48500 - my payments are $538/mo. Special $250 Customer Appreciation rebate lowered the payments to $514! Picked up the car yesterday - I love it!! It's a 12 month test drive - best case I get a brand new one in '07, worst case - I'm only committed for a year.

No money down besides first payment, title, registration, fees, etc. It was a great deal!
  • qbrozenqbrozen Member Posts: 32,933
but what did they charge for all that? What about a bank fee and/or inception fee?

I'm just trying to get a handle on total cost for one year of renting a car.

I paid about $1500 out of pocket - taxes 425, reg 100, doc fees 170, acquistion fee 550, first payment 514 - then applied 250 rebate. My total cost for the year will be about $7200. I got a pretty great deal.

    Ok. Thanks for the breakdown.

My wife definitely wouldn't be on board for $600/mo, though. It's good considering the price of the vehicle, though, that's for sure.

Tonight I just saw new Infiniti summer incentives on lease for Fx35. 499/24m. MSRP 39950, Does anyone know what are the money factor and residual.
I am looking for 2006 FX35 AWD with premium package and handsfree. what should I strive for monthly payment.
    24/36 months, 12k.
Is this new incentive any good. What it should add in monthly payment after adding the above options.

    Hello Car_Man,

I don't know if you can help on this but I am looking to get out of my lease. My wife and I just found out that we are expecting our 3rd baby. :) Anyway, I have a 05 FX35 with sport and touring that I pay 437.11 a month including tax. I still have 31 months left on my 39 month lease. Right now the payoff is 34,990 before tax and 37,750 after. I just hit 5,000 miles on the car and get 15,000 per year. I'm going to talk to the dealership Wednesday about what options I have. The 3 things that I am thinking about doing are selling the FX, trying SwapLease.com, or taking it and my 05 Nissan Quest SE(owe 27,500) to Nissan for a 07 model. You have no idea how hard it was to write that last part. Nevertheless it just doesn't make since to keep the FX when all I use it for is the 10 mile drive to work. Even if it's the best park of the day!

    Thanks for any help.

Not sure how to post a new entry, but this site was extremely helpful in me negotiating a great lease on a 2006 FX35. Basically I got the FX with nav, handsfree, chrome wheels, touring package..... on a 12 month lease for $561/month with only $1300 down!!! I never heard of a 12 month lease before----so this was great!
  • pikkashoepikkashoe Member Posts: 3
I recently inquired at my dealer about the one year lease.
I was interested in a one year lease, 15000 miles a year, fx35 awd with touring, hands free and sports package. I got an initial quote of $569 a month with $2125 down. Also they had the list $1000 more than msrp online, so I am still pending to hear from my dealer. Sounds like I can get a much better deal based on what others are getting on here. Also now I have contacted a second dealer to see what they can offer. Both dealers are telling me availability for an AWD in miami is very slim. For the options I want (fx35 awd with touring , hands free and sports), whats the best I can expect to get for a lease payment. I dont mind putting some money down.
  • pikkashoepikkashoe Member Posts: 3
    Kvoight

What was your final cap cost on the lease?
  • freshwaterfreshwater Member Posts: 92
I got a final offer from the Dealer for FX35/AWD with touring package and Bluetooth, splash guard....He is getting the number from the Invoice price.(thats what he is saying). Color Black or Diamond Graphite not decided yet. (Which is the most wanted color).

    MSRP = $42050
    INVOICE = $38540
    36m/15k
    Down = $999 + Title +Doc. (out of pocket)
    Payment = $488/m

Is this a good deal.Today is the last day so I might take this deal. Chicago Area.
  • freshwaterfreshwater Member Posts: 92
Dealer told me actually it is 39month and plus first payment. I told him i wont do the deal.
  • taylrmdetaylrmde Member Posts: 4
Just did the 1 year lease on a loaded FX35 (all options but rear dvd..sticker was $49,500)

no money down (just first months payment, tags, etc.)
    12k miles a year
    $500.00 a month

Great vehicle (and a great price) to fool around with for a year.
  • freshwaterfreshwater Member Posts: 92
    What about Taxes, what State.
  • kvoightkvoight Member Posts: 8
I think it was $495....I asked them to waive it and they let me walk the first time....the next day we agreed to split it, and I am picking up the car today. $1300 was my total drive off, 12K, nav, handsfree, touring....
  • helverhelver Member Posts: 2
    Hi,

Can anyone tell me if below lease offer is a good deal? I guess I have untill 7/5 to confirm...Dealer located in Los Angeles area...

    FX35/RWD
    Tour Package
    Hands Free
    Sportage Package

    $2500 Down
    24 months lease
    15k Mileage
$505 / month payment (includes sales tax)

    Is this okay?
  • taylrmdetaylrmde Member Posts: 4
State is PA. Payment is 500.00 even a month. I paid roughly 1350 at signing for tax, title, first month, etc. No cap cost reduction.
  • kvoightkvoight Member Posts: 8
Appears to be a good deal to me. My lease was $12K miles and only for 12 months, but for 24 months and only $505, I would say you have a pretty good deal. May want to see if you could knock some off the down, but otherwise...even w/o, just as good as I have seen. I bought from Infiniti of Torrance.

Hey freshwater. Infiniti's June lease program is scheduled to run through the end of today, July 5th. I will give you an idea of what its June program is like for the vehicle that you are interested in for now. Please feel free to check back with me in a few days to see what Infiniti's new July program is like. If you were to lease a 2006 Infiniti FX35 AWD through Infiniti Financial Services right now for 24 months with 12,000 miles per year, its buy rate lease money factor and residual value should be .00130 and 68%, respectively. The numbers for an otherwise identical 36 month lease should be .00141 and 57%. This vehicle's lease payment will depend upon its selling price. You can stop by the following discussion to get an idea of what you should pay for one right now: "Infiniti FX45 / FX35: Prices Paid & Buying Experience". Once you have an idea of the price that you want to pay, let me know and I can estimate what your lease payment will be.

    carman,
first of all, I apologize for posting on the FX forum.
I have been reading up on your otherwise extremely helpful consumer support and quoted a message on the touareg forum on June30th and did not see a response thusfar.
no doubt you have your hands full with all the messages posted on all the different forums but if you do have a few minutes available of your time I would really appreciate it.
    thanks again for your help.
dealer told me the offer will expire today 8PM ct. apparently they have a tax savings special and they want to get rid of 06 models.
this is the offer on an 06 , sticker USD 47,415 minus USD 6000 off.
    36 months, 15k mls/yr, 0 down, residual .49% and money factor .001 uSD 634/mo.
    is this a good deal?
I prefer not to make a rush decission moreso because my wife's other lease does not expire until Oct this year.
we really like the V8 though and wonder if we decide to wait until Oct we will still be able to get such a deal (or better).
can ou help me with some advise?
    thanks in advance.

Car Man, do you have any new information on July Lease Deals for the FX35? I am just about ready to pull the trigger on mine. I was quoted $1000 down, $335 a month, Fx35 AWD with touring and hands free, 12k miles, one year lease. Catch is I have to get it in New York, and I reside in Miami and I would have to transport the vehicle to Miami, but at lease end I could turn it into any dealer in my area. Is this a valid deal? Its a third party lease company and they stated everything is legitimate. Any suggestions?

  • CarMan@EdmundsCarMan@Edmunds Member Posts: 38,514
Hi pikkashoe. You really don't need to get your new vehicle from a dealer that is all the way up in New York. You should be able to cut a very similar deal to any offer from a New York dealer right in Florida. Doing so will enable you to save all of the money that you would have spent shipping your new vehicle down. In order for me to give you my opinion on this lease, I really need you to provide me with its MSRP and selling price. These are very important numbers for consumers to know anyhow. The selling prices of leased vehicles are negotiable. Without these numbers it is difficult to tell how much of a discount you are being given. Let me know and I'll tell you what I think, but again you should be able to negotiate a similar deal in your home state.

Took delivery of my new 2006 AWD FX35 today. Infiniti of Littleton (Denver,CO) was outstanding and a pleasure to deal with. Did the deal over the phone with an internet specialist in about 15 minutes and spent about 1 hour at the dealership to sign the papers. IFS is the leasing agent.

    Touring
    Hands Free
    Roof Rail (black)
    Mud Flaps
    Cargo

    MSRP = $42300
    INVOICE = $38754
    PAID = $38740
    12m/12k
    Out of Pocket: $550 + 398 + 9.50 + First month = $1353.50
Payment = $396/m (includes sales tax)

This forum really helped me with my preparations for the negotiations with the dealership. I sincerely hope you can do better than my deal

Hopefully I will get some feedback b4 tomorrow AM. I have a Murano SL. Turning it in 5 mos early for the FX35. I was quoted $399 w/o tax + 1000 cap cost + fees on the phone. I went in and it became 424 plus tax(NY) with 2,600 out of pocket. After haggling, here is their FINAL offer (b4 I walked):

    Touring
    Sports
    Handfree
    Mats
    Sunroof wind deflector

$399 a month with tax included (approx $370 a month pre tax), $2,000 out of pocket, including 1st mo payment on a 12 mos lease.

They also say I should be able to extend lease with IFS for up to 6 mos.

Any thoughts or opinions? Please share.....Thanx!!!

Hello, Izbod. That sounds like a great deal
that you got. I was wondering if you could
tell me how they handled the remaining 5
payments left on your Murano lease? Did they
waive those or build that into the price?
I would really appreciate this info, as I'm
interested in getting out of my lease when
I get to the last six months left on it also.

My lease was too long on my Maxima, and I don't
want to get taken to the cleaners and penalized
for turning in the car early. But I'm getting
realy itchy for a new car!!! Any suggestions
    will be greatly appreciated.

I called Nissan and got a quote on early termination. They gave me a figure that was less than my monthly payment, just a few hundred dollars. They told me to leave it at the Infiniti dealer, they will bill me by mail.

I feel like my deal is a good one. I would've loved to get Tech package @ the same price. I will visit one additional dealer this AM, before making a final decision. I need this car and my next Murano payment is due today. Excellent time to get rid of it. No more warranty.
  • izbodizbod Member Posts: 21
Update - I walked out of dealer 1 into dealer 2. Got a FX35 LOADED....Tech, Sport, Touring, Handsfree, Flaps.....$1,750 total out of pocket(including 1st payment), 399 including NY tax(approx $370 pretax) on a 12 mos. lease. This is $250 less cash than my original offer with a 4K option thrown in. The sticker on this vehicle is 48,000+. I'm told I'll be able to extend the lease up to an additional 6 mos also.

I'm pretty happy with this deal. Goes to show the 1st rule of sales/biz - Never close under pressure, always walk. Of course that means that sometimes you cannot walk back in, but 8 out of 10 times you will succeed in negotiations.

    HI Izbod,

I live in New york and would truly appreciate it if you can give me your contact info. Which dealership and sales person. That seems to good to be true. The msrp was 48,000 plus. what was the cap cost .. was it under invoice. So did you get the fx. Please help. thank you.
  • izbodizbod Member Posts: 21
The FX is my driveway, Diamond Graphite. As I said, I walked into dealer 2 and they were committed to seeing me drive away with one of their vehicles. I kept chiseling. The sticker is 48K+, the deal was based on 44K. The 1750 was approx: 750cap cost, 399 1st mo, 200ish for plates, 200ish for docs fee and some taxes. I even charged the $1,750 on my AMEX and got miles too.

I got the car @ Lynnes Infiniti in Bloomfield NJ. I dealt with Al in Sales and Ozzie the Sales Manager. I came in the Murano and left in the FX....LOADED. Tell them A.D. sent you. Feels good to drive this vehicle at this price, now I gotta visit dealer 1 and show them my new wheels, with Tech package!! LOL!!!
