Yes, it included the $2,500 dealer cash and the $1,000 IFS rebate. I'm in the SoCal area so I think it's more competitive than other markets.

    Here's a rundown of my quotes for a 2013 G37S:

    Glendale Infiniti
    MSRP: $45,425
    Price: $36,817

    Metro Infiniti (Monrovia)

Jkipster was this for a G37S sedan with premium and navigation? If so I need to head to one of those dealerships which are only 30-40 minutes away from me. I have 4 months left on my current Infiniti lease, so I'm not sure if I should wait another month or so.

    Thanks!

got a quote for a 2013 G37XS sedan with first month and sec for 400.00 a month lease, 24months 12k a year. this includes taking my 2011 G37x with 7 payments left at 365 a month. does this sound correct?

Carman, I'm looking to lease a g37x with nav package and premium package before the end of the month. The MSRP is 44205, Invoice 41064. I am looking for a 24 month lease with 0 out of pocket. I am eligible for the $1000 loyalty cash,. What other incentives are available ? I'm not sure what the residual and the MF are for July are. I'm in NJ. What should my target price of this vehicle be and what monthly payment should I be looking at ?
  • jkipsterjkipster Member Posts: 270
That is correct. Also with kick plates, cargo net, +/- splash guards. I was also in contact with Cerritos and Montclair but they were slow to respond so I didn't get very far with them in negotiations.

I did not get it inspected yet. I did get outside estimates of $1600 to $2k. I def do not want to come out of pocket, so if dealer quotes me in that range, I am fine with rolling that into my lease. Does anybody know if a dealership would do that?
  • paperboycccpaperboyccc Member Posts: 93
I just got an end of lease inspection for my Infiniti G37. A discount bumper repair company had quoted me $400 to repair just the bumper. The inspector said most damages were non chargeable and only $208 for the bumper.
  • jkipsterjkipster Member Posts: 270
They use a third party company called Alliance Inspection Management, so it's not biased. Per my inspector, they do all Infiniti and Ford lease inspections. Came to my work too so it was convenient.

I definitely encourage you to schedule it and see. They ignored all the little nicks. I even got sideswiped once that blemished my topcoat, but it was ignored.

Let us know how it goes.

Retail was 44590, invoice 42225, iI don't have other fee, but drive off is only registration and first month, may be documentation fee (I still need to confirm with them on it) and monthly is 315 including all taxes.

The monthly includes the owner loyalty incentive.

Could not wait any longer and pulled the trigger on this:

2013 G37 Journey Sedan with Premium package, Navigation package, Maple wood trim, Performance Tire package, illuminated kick plates, floor mats etc.

    MSRP: 44590

    24 months 12000 miles/year lease

$860 drive off, includes registration and first month + doc fee etc.

    $300/month including taxes.

Got couple of oil changes and full tank of gas (if it matters).

Used owner loyalty of $1000 to get to this price point.

    I hope I did Ok!

White and Wheat Leather. With Premium, Navigation Package. Due to I am a student now, I want the lowest price. So could you give me the number for 39-month and 12,000miles/year? I want to know the paydown 2,000 with every fee, including document, title, first payment. And each month I should pay for? Thank you.
  • kingpcgeekkingpcgeek Member Posts: 1,051
There is no way that anyone on this forum can give you every fee since they very based on state, sometimes county and city, and dealership. You need to go to a couple of dealerships and then post the deals here. Then people can help you.

I am living Boston, MA. And I got some quotes from dealers. The lowest price I got for G37x Seden is $2,000 paydown including first month fee and $390 for each month, which is including taxes and other fees. The G37x is white color and wheat leather with Premium, Navigation Package. And the car's MSRP is $44,205. So what do you think for 39-month lease, what's the monthly payment? Thank you.

Here's how my deal went down last week - I couldn't be happier.

    2013 G37x AWD Coupe
    Packages: Premium, Navigation & Sport
Options: Spash Guards; Illuminated Kick Plates; Trunk Mat, Net & First Aid; Rear Decklid Spoiler & Midnight Black Grille
    MSRP $51,615
    Invoice $47,629
    Cap Cost $45,538
    Residual $35,098 (68%)
    Lease Rate .792%

    24-Month Lease w/ 12,000 miles/year
    Base Payment $448.79
7% Montly Sales Tax of $31.42
Payment $480.21/mo for 23 more months

    OTD Payment:
    $480 1st mo Payment +
    $295 Registration/DMV +
    $305 Est taxes/fees -> reduced Cap Cost/Down Payment (*)
    Total OTD= $1080

    * I might have been able to stretch the deal a little to reduce the Cap Cost shown above by $204 to $45,329. But, the dealership took that extra $305 that I was incorrectly estimating (for taxes on $2500 in Lease Dealer Cash & other misc fees) as a down payment, and just showed a $1305 Cap Cost Reduction ($1000 rebate + $305 down) with a lower Adjusted Cap Cost of $45,233. I therefore added in that $305 above to show the 'real' Cap Cost of $45,538 - which includes a $305 down payment.

I basically negotiated the deal for invoice + acquisition + dealer fee - $3500 in total Infiniti Lease & Loyalty cash + agreeing to pay $600 in up front taxes & DMV fees, and here's how it worked out
    $47,629 + $105 + $700 + $599 - $3500 = $45,538 Cap Cost
... and then they applied that $305 towards down payment.

Given the fee/tax miscalculation was my own fault, that this was the only AWD w/ Sport Coupe available in the state of Florida, and the fact the dealership had to spend extra to have the car trucked in from almost 400 miles away, I'm totally fine giving up what amounted to be $204 in the end. They had a $599 dealer fee, and I was only planning on paying $500. That's how my net miscalculation of Cap Cost ended up being $99 + $105 = $204. Also, I didn't ask for them to show me their invoice, but over the phone they provided me the same invoice price as the estimator shows on this site, so I assume the $300 advertising fee is legitimate, otherwise they got me on that, too because I didn't subtract it.

IFS is making my last 3 previous $500 payments, applying $500 towards excess use/mileage, and waiving the $395 disposition fee on my previous lease through Owner Loyalty.

The finance manager didn't close me on anything extra but threw in complementary window tinting for being a loyal customer.

Thanks to Carman and all the other contributing members of this forum for making this deal possible to achieve.
  • kingpcgeekkingpcgeek Member Posts: 1,051
Telling us you are in Boston does not help us calculate fees. You are negotiating backwards. The only thing you can negotiate is the selling price of the car, so that is what you need to do. Everything else is set. Right now there is $2,500 of dealer cash available to take off of the price of the car unless you currently own an Infiniti. If you do take another $1,000 off. You should be shooting for a selling price of no more then invoice - $2,000 or better yet invoice - $2,500. Subtract and additional $1,000 if you currently have an Infiniti. This car goes the way of the dodo bird any day now so Infiniti is working hard to clear them out.

You also should know how to compute a lease on your own, it is not difficult. Lease Calculator

The dealership is Fette Infiniti in Northern NJ

The car is a G37X with premium package. He dealer didn't give me a selling price for some off reason even though I requested it a couple of times.

Can I do better than this and if so what should I go in expecting better?

I was told by dealer today that the 24mo coupe numbers have remained the same, but the sedan is a little worse. I will try and confirm actual numbers, but doesn't make much sense if they are trying to liquidate them.
  • billy3554billy3554 Member Posts: 148
What does 1-2 % MSRP mean?

Dealers are in business to earn a profit. However, that does not mean they earn the same or any profit on all cars. In some cases a dealer may very well sell a vehicle at a loss if there are other considerations, such as a need to sell more vehicles to earn a manufacturer bonus or the need to obtain cash.

I had mentioned that here. But I didn't expect them to drop the MSRP so much!

There should be some major discounts to the remaining 2013's on the lots since anyone can just wait for the 2014's to come out compared to current pricing. Truecar pricing including destination fees in L.A. for those respective base MSRP's on 2013 models are $31K and $32.5K.

I would be interested to see how much IFS ratchets down the residuals on 2013 leases in August and beyond.

First timer eyeing up G #3. Here are the details...I think they are putting their best foot forward.
    MSRP - $43110
    your cost - $33805
    money factor - .00004
    cap cost - $34793
    residual - $25284 or 66% (figured on $38310)

This was quoted today, looking at earlier post...will these figures change tomorrow August 6? Or are these figures solid enough to pull the trigger? Thanks
  • jkipsterjkipster Member Posts: 270
How many years and miles per year? We need to know that. I'm guessing it's 24/15K?

But if it's anything less than 3 years, then it's not a good start as your payments for 2 years is $399 before tax. For your reference, I got a payment of $371 before tax/security deposits at the end of June for a 24/15K lease on a G37xS with a $45,915 MSRP. You've been quoted a higher payment on less car than mine.

It looks like the $4,800 MSRP reduction for the FY14 model year is being applied to the FY13 MSRP before applying the residual %. So new lessees need to factor that in when they try to compare their quotes to other users' deals from the past several months.

Yes, 24 month 15k. I like the money off msrp but will need to work on lowering the payment. What should I expect for 39 month lease?
  • jkipsterjkipster Member Posts: 270
You should think of your true MSRP being $38,310 since that is what they are basing the residual value off of. That gives you an adjusted discount off MSRP of $4,505 (11.8%), and not the $9,305 (21.6%) that appears on the surface.

The 2014 MSRP for this configuration should be about the same unless they increase the cost of the options for the new year. See post #7827 for the reason for the adjustment to the 2013 MSRPs.

I would shop around and get quotes from other dealers. My guess is Infiniti is upping it's dealer cash to make up for the reduction in the calculation of the residual values. Otherwise, they have instantaneously devalued all the remaining 2013s on dealer lots and made this car a lot more expensive to lease than before the new MSRPs were announced.

FWIW Last weekend I picked up a $54,000 G37 Convertible with Premium and Nav for $575/mo with zero down other than first payment for 39 months with 10k a year. Out of that $575/mo is $81/mo (total ~$3175) for Georgia's new VAT/Sales tax which apparently is hurting leases.

I don't have the paper work in front of me because its my wife's car so I can't give you the particulars, but it seemed like a pretty fair deal to me. I had asked previously on here for the current month's lease particulars but didn't receive a response so I had to wing this deal.

This deal was from Jeff Hoffman at Roswell Infiniti and I leased my '13 M37 from him as well.
