2013 and earlier Jeep Grand Cherokee Lease Questions

  • Jeep Lover,

    Could you give me a few specifics on your lease? I'm looking for an Altitude and they have a few. I would really appreciate it.

    Cap Cost
    Leasing Company
    Money Factor
    Leasing Company

    I'm from NJ and am shopping all over. I've found that each dealer has different lease companies and different incentives. I'm really interested in what rebates are out there. I think that some decent rebates just ended on 1/3.

    Any help would be appreciated! I'm going to call them today thanks to you!
  • I spoke to a dealer in the Denver market this week and he told me current residual for a 2013 GC Limited is
    * 54% for 15K
    * 56% for 12K
    * 57% for 10K

    It appears the lease APR is 1.45% from (although this guy gave me numbers that come out to close to 1.488%). $1500 rebate for getting the V-8 plus $1000 for currently leasing another car. This dealer had a Winter Chill LTD w/ Trailer IV and V-8 for $36,998 advertised on the internet, non-negotiated (13.2% off MSRP).

    I'd be interested to know what Car_Man knows...
  • Hi,

    Are the residuals you posted for 36 months? Does anyone know if the residuals change if its an Overland?...or are they the same as the GC Limitted?

  • Yes, these were for 36 months. Sorry, need Senior Car_Man to weigh in on Overland...
  • Hi All,

    I've seen a lot of different posts and pricing around GC's in other locales, but am wondering if anyone has any experience in the Midwest or even better in Michigan?

    Currently, dealer is offering 2013 GC X Package for $349/month w/ $2,500 down.

    Does this rate seem "fair" / appropriate? Is there a significant advantage or disadvantage to moving to the Limited model?
  • Hi jplumley77. Ally's January base lease rate and residual value for a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD with 15,000 miles per year are 0.25% and 55%.

    I haven't seen the Hahn lease program for the Grand Cherokee, but I can see what I can find out about it.

  • Hi drdrakeramore. The residual values and 1.45% lease rate that you mentioned are right on the money.

  • Hi Al. Ally's January base lease rate and residual value for a 36-month lease of a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 4WD with 15,000 miles per year are 1.93% and 53%.

  • Thanks Car man,,,

    for anyone else who is interested I called a dealer in Charlotte NC today and they said that US banks residual on overland 4x4 for 36 months is 55% for 12K miles and money factor is .00041

  • You're welcome Al.

  • HI Car man,

    Thanks for all your help in this forum. Did you post the residual and interest rates for the 2013 jeep grand cherokee laredo x on this forum yet? If not, I'd like to request info on 12,000 mi/yr lease.....
  • I read a couple of articles that the 2014's will be coming out in the Spring.

    With that, should I wait until the 2014's roll out to lease a 2013 GC Laredo E 4x2?

    I'm thinking the deals may be better than they are now as they are trying to get rid of the standing 2013 inventory.
  • At the least, the lease factor seems to be up, to 1.65%. Do you have a revised residual for a 4x4 Limited with 12K in Colorado, Car_Man?

    Thanks as always...
  • Spoke to a dealer today, he says residuals are the same in Feb for a 2013 Limited. That is:
    * 54% for 15K
    * 56% for 12K
    * 57% for 10K

    Car guy, can you tell me :

    4X2 Overland; Money Factor/ Resi please with 12K miles?

  • Hi Car_Man - can you confirm what the residuals are for February in Colorado for a 2013 GC Limited with 12K miles? I'm getting all sorts of wild variations on a theme for my simple request.
  • I second this request!

    It appears that residuals have dropped from Ally - I'm seeing 54% (12K), 55% (10K) and 52% (15K) now for 2013 GC Limited for 36 months. Too bad.
  • I am considering leasing a 2013 SRT8 Grand Cherokee and wonder what terms are available on 3 and 4 year with 12k miles. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • insidecarbuy - that seems like a great deal. I've been looking at the 2013 JGC Overland myself. But while researching, I saw the 2014's coming out and I might wait for them. They are supposed to be showing up in the next couple of weeks here in Mass.

    Where would I find the best insight on whether or not they will be offering leasing incentives on them?
  • Insidecarbuy - what dealer was this at? That's a great price...also, what is the IDL cash? I'm a returning lessee, and would love to get a deal like this!

    These are so new I can't find residual or rate anywhere, anyone have any ideas about leasing a 2014 in March of 2013 as far as it being a good thing or a bad thing? It is a good 5-6 months before most new vehicles come out. Here is what I am looking at: a0a0064019ff3590216b96e.htm

    Being they are so new I can't even find an invoice. I will offer $41k, never know.

    Invoice pricing can be found here on the first page and residuals for Feb 2013 are on page 256 but for 36 mo lease 15k miles (limited) are 54% and 1.45%

    From a pricing standpoint I ordered a 14' overland and was able to get 3% below invoice. Good luck! - ng-52937.html

    Looking for residual and rates on a 2014 grand cherokee limited in nyc area. 36 month, 10k miles per year.

    also, same info on 2013 car.

    what rebates/incentives exist for each model year.

    I got a quote from Team Welsh Jeep in Far Hills, NJ on a '14 Limited 8cyl residual at 54% and .00004 money factor. That works out to 0.9% on a lease. I will most likely be doing my business with them as they are more of a mom and pop dealership. They have gotten some pretty good reviews.

    Any rebates on 2014's
  • cliffpozcliffpoz Posts: 68
    2014 limited - msrp = 40580, selling price 1% below invoice = 38,590, residual 57%, mf = .00004. Additional $1000 rebate. 36 month, 10k miles. Dealer was coming up with $480/month including nyc taxes. only fees otd = $480 upfront for first month. I am calculating $430/month?
    A couple of charges that looked high - plates: 300, doc fee 147, lease fee 795 ( i assume that is bank fee).
    which monthly payment looks right - dealers or mine
    can you negotiate the doc fees and plates?
  • KeerockKeerock Posts: 25
    You can negotiate anything. I think those are pretty typical fees for a lease. It's better not to roll them in IMO and pay interest on them which is probably part of the monthly price difference. May be you just aim to get the price lower and pay the fees upfront.
  • Looking at a JGC Limited.. Does anyone know Residual and Lease Rate for both the 2013 and 2014? 10 or 12K Miles per year.
