You won't be able to use a pull-ahead program and take equity out of your vehicle...

You can see if the dealer will take your current car in trade, outside of the pull ahead program, and credit any equity towards the new lease. Though, I'm guessing you'll find the dealer feels you have a lot less equity than you do..

Prior to our 2011 lease the dealer gave us $2k to get us out of our 2008 Volvo XC90 three months early. We also have an offer on the table for $508 and $800 out of pocket.

The buyout for us in February 2014 is $27,500. Right now I'm seeing used value car trade in for $32,255. Then if you were to buy it out the projection is $34,300. So if I was to do this I would be looking for the dealer to knock the payment down to $450 with no money out of pocket.

They bought out the Volvo so I was planning they would do the same. We just had the car serviced a month ago and I feel that got our sales rep to contact us once this program was announced.

    Hello,

Does anybody know the money factor and residual for a C63 AMG Coupe?

Looking to get into a 2013 coupe for a good price since there are already quite a few 2014 models at the dealers.

    Lease term:

    36-39 months
    7500 miles per year
    Top tier credit

What are the money factor and residual?

    Warm regards
  • kyfdxkyfdx Moderator Posts: 235,200
The residual for 36 mo, 7.5K mi/yr is 58%.. Standard MBCC money factor.

Residuals do not apply to the "Black Series"

    Thank you!

Can you kindly tell me what the money factor is for highest credit score?
  • kyfdxkyfdx Moderator Posts: 235,200
It's their "standard" money factor.... I'm not sure what that is. I've seen everything from .00195 to .00235 to .00325

    Hello everyone:

About to close a deal on a 2013 c350 coupe lease and was wondering if I am getting a decent deal. I am not sure about all the language people use in prior comments, but the details are as follows:

    MSRP: $49,305
    12,000 miles
    39 months
    2k down including fees
    $635 a month

I know i'm not getting the best deal, but it seems the most dealership has very little inventory on this car. Any insight would be appreciated!!

    thanks!!

I am in the market for a 2013/2014 C300 lease. I got the following initial offer and after having looked at what valleyguy, reloman etc have stated this is not in the vicinity of a good deal. Just want to affirm and look at the next steps.

Sport with Premium, Multimedia, Becker, Keyless Go, Lane track, Roof spoiler, Maintenance plan

    Term : 10K/27 Months

    MSRP : 49170

    Selling Price : 44048
    Fleet Incentive : 2500
Cap Reduction : 1000 (Dealer has added this in his quote ; I will not do cap reduction)
    Fees : 284
    Sales Tax (7%) : 964
    -----------------------------------
    Net Cap Cost : 41796

    MF : 0.00213 (seems high)
    Residual : 71% - 34910

    Monthly Breakdown
    -------------------------
    Tax - Capped
    Depreciation - 6886/27 = 255
    Finance Charge 4411/27 = 163
    ----------------------------------------
    Total 418.42/month
    ----------------------------------------

    Drive Out : 1St Month + Cap Reduction = 1000+ 418 = 1418/-

Total Cost Of Lease : 12,297

The above is my calculation (Leasematic) per the details given by the dealer. The dealer sans maintenance has sent me a quote for 447/month with 1500 out of pocket. 461/month with maintenance.

If I can get the dealer to 418/month, is it a good deal? Dealer had agreed to an 8K reduction from MSRP but on bringing up Fleet Incentive said he cannot add on top.

2 dealers here say the 0.00058 & 72% is for C350s and not C300. They are quoting a 69% & 0.00088 for 2014 C300s on both 24 & 27. Can anyone who is in the know cross check and revert back please?

Is it possible for the dealer to wave the bank fee? If not can they include in the lease payments?

    Thanks
  • kyfdxkyfdx Moderator Posts: 235,200
Dealers can't waive the acquisition fee without some compensating increase in the money factor, which cancels out any gain..

But, they can certainly roll that fee into the monthly payments.

Thank you so much for the speedy response :) Two more questions ...

    1) What date are those rates good through?

    2) I apologize but do you know the money factor and residual for October on a 2013 C350 Sport RWD for 24 or 27 months with 18k miles?

Thank you again for your help.

    Thanks so much!

Here is your post from September -

You said - "The residual for 36 mo, 7.5K mi/yr is 58%.. Standard MBCC money factor."

I don't believe the C63 comes in convertible?

I do not mean to be nitpicking at all, I just wish to clarify the residual :)

So the 2013 C63 coupe with a 36 months lease at 7,500 miles per year has a 61% residual, correct? My local dealers are telling me 58%...3% residual improvement would be great.

    Thank you for your help!
  • kyfdxkyfdx Moderator Posts: 235,200
Ah.. okay. I see my mistake now... There are two C63 models.. sedan and coupe... Didn't realize they made a C63 sedan..... (trust me, they don't spell out sedan and coupe.. I would have figured that out..lol)

2013 C63 coupe with a 36 months lease at 7,500 miles per year

Interested in input regarding following deal:

2013 c300 matic sport with premium pkg
    MRSP: $44,175
    Sale Price: $38,446

    27 month lease
    Residual % 71%
    Annual miles 10k
    Money Factor: .00113

Spoke with internet sales for NY dealership. How does purchase price compare to other deals? How much additional discount should I expect? Never leased before. Does residual % appear correct?

    Alternate car deal
2013 c300 sport with premium, MMI, lane tracking pkg
    MRSP $47,015
    Sales Price: $41,786
Smaller discount on this vehicle. Does this make sense?

Thanks in advance for all insights shared.

I'm new to leasing and need to know how to negotiate this deal. Here's where we are now:

    2014 C350 4Matic Coupe

    MSRP $45,850
    keyless go $650
    lighting package $1,390
    multimedia package $2,860
    lane tracking package $875
    destination and delivery $925
    Total retail price $52,550
    Discount $5,000
    Selling price $47,550
    Fees $450
    Sales tax $4,659.9
    Net sales price $52,659

    24 month/10k lease $599.63/month plus $2,500 out of pocket.

Is this a good deal? If not, what would be a good deal?
  • fintailfintail Member Posts: 57,097
Wrong thread so this will be moved, but I think you can do a lot better. I don't know if the discount is good, but most MBs aside from CLA, new S, maybe GL Bluetec, have a lot of room for negotiation. They tend to trade close to invoice or less. Check Edmunds TMV for a close number.

FWIW, I leased a car with similar down and a MSRP almost 20K higher for virtually the same payment.

Does anyone know what the best money factor and residual is for a 2014 C359 4Matic Coupe right now? I was quoted a 73% residual with a .00215 money factor. Is that good?
  • kyfdxkyfdx Moderator Posts: 235,200
    2014 C350 4Matic coupe 24mo, 12K/yr lease..

Standard money factor (We've got reports of .00195-.00225 for this) and 73% residual.

I picked the 24 mo, 12K/yr lease, because that matches the residual you've been quoted... A 36 month lease would have a 64% residual..

hi, i think I am getting a good deal on a c63amg 507 edition. Car is a Coupe. MSRP is 82810 and I offered 74k and they are at 75k. Since I am leasing the car I would like to know about the money factor and residual value. I would be interested in 7500 miles and 36 or 48 months. If the money factor is the same regardless of the time then 48 would be the best choice in my opinion.

What do you think as far of the deal? i checked in my area in miami and the true edmunds price is a little over sticker? Thanks for your help

    2014 C63 AMG Coupe 36mo, 7.5K/yr
Standard money factor and 60% residual

    48mo, 7.5K/yr lease

One caveat... these numbers may not be accurate for the "507 Edition". I know the "Black Edition" has different residuals, and the "507" may, as well..

numbers sound about right of what i was told. What is the standard money factor. Numbers wise it is a pretty aggressive deal or they always discount the cars like this??? 82810 is the MSRP and they are at 75 and I am at 74k cause there is shipping involved that i have to pay.
  • kyfdxkyfdx Moderator Posts: 235,200
I've seen .00195 - .00225 for the standard money factor (anecdotal, from other forum members).

Be careful, as dealers can mark that up by a significant amount.

Just got the following deal in SoCal.

    2013 Polar White C250 - 12k/ 27 months
    Prem 1
    Multimedia Package
    2 years prepaid maint

    Residual: 69%
    MF: .00124
    MSRP: ~42k
    Discount: 7K
    Sale price: ~35k

    Acq Fee: $795
    Doc & license: ~$450
Monthly: $335 after tax w maint included
    Drive off(acq+fees+1month): $1666

Pretty easy to get the deal. Just email all the dealers in your area dont include your phone number or they will call you. Do everything through email only. Play them off each other get them to match the money factors, discounts, acquisition fee etc. Get everything in writing in a quote and only then will you call them or step into their dealership to sign.

Ps. leasematic application on iphone is great for calculating the numbers and making sure dealer isnt packing in any fees. Also the website ridewithg.com has great info.
