Is this MF and residual the current one offered for the 2010 E350 coupe, 48 month lease? .00330 and 48%..I was told the FM that the MF he offered is the employee discount rate.

If anyone has the correct info please pass it along ASAP.
    Thanks

    Awinner:

I am getting the exact car that you got, MSRP $54175 except I need 15,000 miles on it. Do you mind tellling me how much you paid and which dealership? Were you able to get it lower than $639.xx and that was tax included, right? Please advise. Thanks
  • hecarahecara Member Posts: 45
    Hi Car_man,
Here is the deal I was offered:

    2010 E350 coupe, Arctic White, P1
49K (he said invoice was 49 and some change, this is supposedly w/ employee discount)
    48 months
    48% residual
    Money factor .00330
Texas tax credit 1.5% (instead of 6.25% ends this monthper FM)
    Maintenence plan $769.00
    2,000 down+ first month payment $753 due

Please advise...I think the MF is too high, I did not want to put anything down, and I wanted 36-39 months. I have Tier 1 credit score of 740.

    $54000 msrp
    $46500 sale price
    .0022 residual
    15000 miles
    $1089 drive off

$738 including 7percent fl sales tax.I am considering waiting another month for lower money factor. I got spoiled with my 08 E class as I have a .0011 :-)
  • evjonevjon Member Posts: 5
.0022 is probably the money factor and not the residual.

assuming a money factor of .0022, a 15,000 mile residual of 57% and no cap cost reduction (ie. downpayment), these numbers don't seem to work on my spreadsheet unless they are selling you the car for more than $46,500, or are selling you the car for $46,500 and adding other fees to the lease. Acutally it lookes like they are giving you the car for MSRP less $2,200. I also assume that the $1,089 "drive off" includes first payment of $738 leaving $351 in other fees.

I think you may need more details on the deal. I just leased a $54,145 msrp e350 in july with $3,500 down and $562/mo, inlcuding 6% Fl. sales tax.
  • concordsizeconcordsize Member Posts: 2
Yes sorry I'm on my bberry. I meant money factor. How many miles per year was your lease? And what was the final sale price? What county in fl was your dealer?

I was not...$639 including tax was a great deal. I got 10k miles though. I got it through MB of Encino through the loyalty department division there.

    I got a deal on a 2010 E350 4Matic with:

    P1 Package
    Sport Package
    Pano Roof

    39 Months/ 15k Year

Only First months & Registration up front

749/Month (Taxes and Fees rolled in)

    What you think?
  • 1003008gl1003008gl Member Posts: 11
I think that is a pretty decent deal. Better than mine. I also have the P1 Package, 15000 miles/year and 39 months. Mine was $1500 drive off (1st month, registration included), and $788.xx a month. I think my rate was a little higher due to my credit issue. But, it's cool. Someone has to feed the family. Picked it up this week and already got it tinted. Looks nice.

Hi pilldoc. The selling prices of leased vehicles are negotiable, just as if you were paying cash for or financing them. While manufacturers occasionally provide cash incentives on their vehicles which are not compatible with their lease program, that is not currently the case with the 2010 E-Class.

Shop around and negotiate a selling price that's as close to dealer invoice minus the $3,000 dealer cash that is currently available on this car as possible.

Hi 1003008gl. The selling price for this car will likely be very different today than it was in July. Mercedes-Benz replaced its lease money factor support on the 2010 E-Class with dealer cash. Specifically, it now has $3,000 on the '10 E550 Sedan. Make sure to take this cash into account during your negotiations.

Here's the information that you're looking for, hecara. Mercedes-Benz Financial's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2010 E350 Coupe with 12,000 miles per year are .00260 and 57%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

When negotiating your deal, make sure to take advantage of the $1,500 dealer cash that is currently available on this model.

Savvy consumers who are in an area that has a decent level of competition are usually able to negotiate lower selling prices than TMV.

    2010 E-350 Premium Pkg 2
$1350 drive off, $796 per month (including optional prepaid maintenance for $16 more per month)

I am not a math genius so I dont know about money factors and those stuff.

    thanks.
  • lamplamp Member Posts: 20
I think you can try getting the number lowered.....

We just leased a 2010 E350 P2, wheel pkg and pan.roof, msrp 57645, invoice was 54172 and got it for 48750, 39 month lease 15k miles per year zero down.

we had 2 choices, the numbers are

$1497 driveoff with bank fee added to monthly payment and monthly is 763.54 (including 9.75% CA tax)
    or
$2558 driveoff with bank fee included and the monthly is 732.59 (including 9.75% CA tax)

and if you want pre-pay maintenance plan then is $16.9 per month.

we chose 2nd choice and add pre-pay maintenance to our monthly payment, so our monthly payment is $750 after tax

I am ready to pursue leasing the following...new 2010 Mercedes E550 with a $63,445 MSRP. Terms are 36 months/ 12,000 miles per year with nothing down and tag,tax & title included in lease. I have perfect credit.

Vehicle is at Jackie Cooper Mercedes in Tulsa, OK.

Considering any promotions currently available, what would be the lowest payment possible??

    Msrp $55,155

Was this a sedan or a coupe? Does MB round the MSDs up to the next $50? I'm looking at a 2010 E350 Coupe and the dealer seems to be unwilling to come down much at all.
  • vermont11vermont11 Member Posts: 12
This is for 4 door sedan, and yes they do round it of to the next $50

Thanks Vermont11. Has anyone been able to get a 2010 coupe on a 39 month term? I was told by a dealer that the 39 month term was only on the sedan, not the coupe.
  • vermont11vermont11 Member Posts: 12
Dealer's name is Mercedes South Bay. Also, not sure about Coupe.

    Hello!

    1) Can you please explain the 4475 in MB incentives?

    2) Can you please explain the 7 MSD? How much did you pay?

    3) How did you get the $1,500 down payment number (598 towards first month and 902 towards...)?

    Thank you!
  • vermont11vermont11 Member Posts: 12
Mercedes is currently giving incentives to clear out 2010 E350. $3000 for regular and $4475 for car equip with P1 or P2. Just pick it up from this forum also.

MSD is to buy down money factor, Mercedes allows 10 MSDs, 1 MSD will lower the money factor by .00007 so 10 will lower the MF by .007, dont have to do all 10, it is really up to you. MSD payment is base on the original lease amount rounded to the next $50, so if your payment is $651, it will be $700/MSD.

$1500 is 1st payment, DMV and all misc. In my case, it is close to $1200, I just let the remaining roll into cap reduction.

Thanks for replying. I had already made my purchase. Will email you with questions that have now come up.
  • bt97bt97 Member Posts: 4
Do you know if you can still make the 10 MSDs if the rate being offered is a low rate, like the .00147 offered on C300s currently? I had heard that there was a bottom that they would not allow you to go below on the interest rate. I was debating between a 2010 E Coupe and a 2011 C300 and the C is a much better deal now. I was going to do MSDs, but I did not know if you could still do so on the low rate.

I don't think we are allowed to post the name of the salesperson. But what I did is made a quote request through Edmunds. Or you can remove the private setting on your email so I can send you PM.

    Vermont11,

    Thank you for your help!

    1) I still need some additional education on the fine points of MSDs. I think that I understand the concept of how MSDs impact the money factor and how to calculate the $/MSD (i.e. in your example, 10MSDs=$7000?). However, when you refer to the original lease payment, do you mean the payment before or after taxes? Also, are you taxed on the gain from this scenario (at this point, the ROI from the MSD looks crazy good...).

    2) Is the $4475 for all regions? I have received conflicting information.

Many thanks again! I enjoyed the first part of the lesson.
  • vermont11vermont11 Member Posts: 12
Original Lease payment is when you calculate payment without applying MSD, so before MSDs, the money factor will be .0025, if the payment comes out to more than 650, then each MSD will be $700, but if it is $649, then MSD will be $650 for each. This is all after tax. After applying all MSDs the you use the new reduced MF to recalculate the payment.
I use leaseguide.com to do all calculation.

As for $4475, I just read it on the other Forum, and it seems to work, because when I received my initial quote early August($3000 incentive), I cannot bargain for more, but when I told the manager that I read that the new incentives was $4475. He didn't complain.

    CarMan-

I want to lease the above car, with most packages, and an MSRP or just over $78,000. Have checked the TMV and am starting to get some pricing. Not too many 550 Cabrio's to choose from in Seattle, but there are certainly tons in L.A. Will dealers do swaps on a new model, and out of market?

Credit is 700, but I have cash and need a large write off this year. I am thinking about a 2-year lease pre-pay on a 3 year lease.

Does the pre-pay component affect the MF? If so, how?

    Thanks very much.

I'm going to lease a 2010 E350 luxury trim sedan with p1, pano moon roof and wood/leather steering wheel. MSRP 55075, cap cost 45206, 36 months, 10k miles/year. Total drive off is 2520.51. Monthly payment 609.67 + 53.35 tax = 663.01. Residual is 57% or 31.392.75. This is in riverside/coachella valley area of so cal. Probably could have done better in Orange county but overall probably not a bad deal either. Money factor was 0.00295. I did not put down any MSDs. Any thoughts if this was a reasonable/decent deal?

Hi dukedo. Mercedes is providing quite a bit in the way of cash incentives on the E-Class this month.

Specifically on the E550 Sedan, it has $3,000 dealer cash plus an additional $1,300 cash incentive on leases through Mercedes-Benz Financial.

Hi wanton. I haven't looked into it in a while, but the last time I checked the pre-payment of a lease through Mercedes-Benz Financial reduced vehicles' money factors by .00110.

I'm looking for the residual value on a 2011 E63, 36 month with 12k and 15k, and current money factor? Also, are their any current dealer incentives that include the e63?

    Thanks!
  • CarMan@EdmundsCarMan@Edmunds Member Posts: 38,514
    Here you go, glgeddes.

Mercedes is not currently providing any lease support on the E63. As a result, if you were to lease one through Mercedes-Benz Financial right now, you would have to use its standard lease program. I believe that its standard money factors vary by region. Here's an example of what a standard program on this car would look like right now.

MB Financial's September buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 E63 with 15,000 miles per year are 00240 and 58%, respectively.

This car's residual value would be 2% higher if you were to lease with only 12,000 miles per year.

Mercedes is not currently providing any cash incentives on it.

2011 BMW5series has awful MF and discount off MSRP of only $3200.
I consider 2011 Mercedes E350, despite poor MPG, and yr into seies. What is current MF for 2 or 3 yr lease, 12000 miles, and acquisition fee?
For MSRP $55,565, price ofered $49,4400, I'm offered 2 yr 12000 miles, monthly $575 plus tax, with $3495 drive off. I assume that includes first month, Calif DMV, acquisition fee-- sounds like perhaps $1200 cap reduction. I want no cap reduction, and want to give maximum refundable security deposits

    ellens1,

Based on a dissection of the lease offer on the Mercedes-Benz website, the residual should be 61% and money factor of .00219, which would be the same terms as last month.

Does anyone know if there is any dealer cash being offered on the E series?
