is there any dealer cash on the mercedes e350 all wheel drive for October 2011 leases. 36 months 7500 miles?
  • CarMan@EdmundsCarMan@Edmunds Member Posts: 38,514
Wow autoboy19. You certainly are interested in a lot of vehicles :). Here you go.

Mercedes-Benz Financial's October buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 39 month lease of a 2010 E350 Sedan with 15,000 miles per year are .00240 and 52%, for consumers who qualify for its tier one credit tier.

The numbers for an otherwise identical lease of a '10 E550 Sedan are .00240 and 49%.

Mercedes is providing $3,000 dealer cash on these cars right now. The option credits are still available in October.

Hey ellens1. Mercedes-Benz is providing dealer cash on the 2010 E-Class, but none on the 2011 model. It does have owner loyalty cash on the '11 E-Class though.

Hello! I want to go get a 33 or 39 month lease on a new E350 2011 15,000 miles/year, P2 package, sport etc etc. The price of the vehicle sits at around $59k before incentives. I have no idea how to negotiate this and need some guidance as the previous posts are making my head spin with all sorts of words I have never heard before. What would be a good payment for me to try and negotiate? What about money down? Am I able to negotiate more than 15,000 miles and how would that affect my payment? Any help would be completely great I am really new to this :)

    Hi Car_man,

Does the residual and MF for the 2011 E350 all-wheel drive also apply to the standard rear wheel drive? 63% = 12K, .00219 for 36 months?

On a side note, would you tell me what MB's bank fee is?

    Thanks.

Looking to lease e350 with 4matic, p1, panoramic, sport pkg, in nyc need 7500 miles was quoted 610/month x 24 including nyc tax. dealer said includes loyalty program (currently have an 2008 e350). no money down just bank fee, 1st month and tags. Is this a good deal? Any incentives? What's MF and residual?

    Thanks for the help

That seems like un unbelievable lease lease payment if it is a 2011 E350. The best I could get was mid 700's. Could it be for a 2010 where there is dealer cash?
  • ellens1ellens1 Member Posts: 9

  • nye350nye350 Member Posts: 3
The deal is for the 2011 e350 4matic with premium 1 package (590) for 24 months. If I want to add the panomaric roof add 20-25. So I guess it's a pretty good deal and should sign?

Greetings to the appropriately named newbenz4me. It sounds as though you are new to leasing. You definitely should check out the following informative articles on the subject that are available here at Edmunds.com: 10 Steps to Leasing a New Car and Calculate Your Own Lease Payment.

In short, the easiest way to get a good deal on a leased vehicle is to shop around for the lowest possible selling price and then have the dealer that you decide to go with calculate your vehicle's monthly payment using its buy rate lease money factor.

I would be happy to use MErcedes' actual lease program to work up a sample payment on the exact car that you are interested in for you. I just need you to provide me with its full MSRP and approximate selling price...or its MSRP and dealer invoice price first. You can find the pricing data that we need over in the New Vehicle Pricing section of Edmunds.com.

You can and should lease any vehicle that you want without making any sort of capitalized cost reduction.

15,000 miles per year is the highest mileage allowance that Mercedes-Benz Financial publishes residual values for. In order to lease a Mercedes with more miles than this, you will have to purchase additional miles on a per-mile basis. It is less expensive to do so at lease signing than it is to wait until lease-end and have to pay an excess mileage penalty.

Hey paxtonk. Yes, MB Finance's lease programs on the E350 RWD and 4Matic models are basically the same.

Its acquisition fee is currently $795. Keep an eye on that because dealers often try to mark it up.

Hi nye350. MB Finance's current 24 month, 7,500 mile per year money factor and residual value for a 2011 E350 4Matic are .00220 and 74%, respectively.

The only cash incentive that Mercedes is providing on this model right now is $2,000 loyalty cash.

What is nov lease rate and residual for 2011 e350, 2 yrs, 7500 miles per year?
  • needhelp27needhelp27 Member Posts: 9
CAR MAN: I want to go in for a 2011 E350 4matic sport sedan with a P1 package (black with brown seats). I was wondering if I should go in now or wait till Xmas to get a good deal?

I live in NYC in Queens. Also, is it better to lease for a year and then to go back and return the car and lease it again for another 2 years? Will it be cheapre that way?

    Thanks.
  • CarMan@EdmundsCarMan@Edmunds Member Posts: 38,514
Hi ellens1. For some reason, Mercedes is not providing any lease support on the 2011 E-Class this month. As a result, if you were to lease one through its captive finance company right now, you would have to use its standard lease program. I think that its standard lease money factors may vary by region.

According to the latest information that i have seen, Mercedes-Benz Financial's November buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 24 month lease of a 2011 E350 Sedan with 7,500 miles per year are .00240 and 74%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tiers.

Hi needhelp27. Mercedes' current lease program is scheduled to run through November 30th. It's difficult to say what its December programs will be like. If I had to make an educated guess, I'd say that it will be at least as attractive as its current program (which for the '11 E isn't great), and quite possibly better. If I was in your position, I personally would probably wait, but again it's difficult to say for certain at this point.

    Hi

I was just made an offer for a 2 year lease on a E350 4 matic sport sedan with P1 option, black with almond two tone interior. I live in Queens, NYC. This is through the Costco Auto program. I do not know the residual.

I was offered 673, per month with 3069 (tax included) OR 742 per month with 1705 up front.

    This is for 10,000 miles.

Is this fair? Should I clench the deal? The agent also said, that she did not think that December would be a better time than now to lease, b/c the price went up in November compared to October.

This includes 1st month payment, sales tax and bank fee.

I am waiting to hear from you before I respond. I do not know anything abuot this stuff and also do not know HOW to negotiate a better deal. Please help.

    Thank you.

    Hi car man

I called the dealer back and asked her to give me the MSRP and residual.

These are the numbers, They mean nothing to me. Really waiting for your sage suggestion. I don't know if you read and post on Saturdays, but I would really appreciate if you could get back on this.

It's an E350 4 matic sport sedan, black with almond interiors, 10,000 miles per year. I live in Queens, NYC. I was quoted 673 per month, with 3069 down OR 742 per month with 1705 down. The MSRP is 56,775 and the residual is 73% or 41,445.75. It is a 2 year lease.

    Anthing I'm missing...?

    Hello -

I am about to come off of my R350 lease and I have been gathering information on the lease of a 2011 E350 wagon.

The Nov rates look like 58% residual, .00240 MF for 15K miles/year right now. Not so great.

I am eligible for two rebates, $2000 loyalty and $2000 through my employer. Can I use to lower my cap cost after I negotiate a sales price? Or can I only use these on the back end? Also, MB is offering a $1000 conquest rebate right now? If I own one of the conquest brands, can I get that rebate as well as the loyalty rebate?

    Thanks for any information.
  • bknycbknyc Member Posts: 61
I'm in a similar situation ( 3 months left on an 09' R350/MB covers these payments) and was able to use both the loyalty/employer. Wagon was $62385 (P1/Pano roof). 36 months, 10k miles $2200 inception- $669 per month including NJ sales tax and 3yr MB Service program-

    Think I did ok?
    Thoughts?
  • benz2779benz2779 Member Posts: 31
That's pretty good.... the best deal would have been $656.70. I came up with $1,717.00 out of pocket plus plates. Are they charging $500 for plates in New Jersey? Maybe they over charged you on the bank fee or some kind of dealer fee... You did well though!
  • bknycbknyc Member Posts: 61
    Thanks-
Don't know the line item breakdown on the $2200- They also included winter mats.
  • benz2779benz2779 Member Posts: 31
You should be getting $675.41 per month with $1,540.97 out of pocket plus plates or $612.34 per month with $2,782.18 out of pocket plus plates... That's without loyalty, conquest cash or fleet allowances. Do you have a Mercedes now? Who do you work for? What are you currently driving? These questions could save you more money!

Hi Car Man, I have a few questions. Lease deal for 2011 E350 sedan.
    MSRP $54,715
Sale price $51,800 plus $995 acquisition fee and $495 doc fee and $20 license fee for $52, 795 cap cost.
    10,000 miles
    36 months
    Residual $33376 (.61)
    Money Factor .00280

    Upfront charge of $570 and 1st payment of $804 = $1374

    Payment $804 (781 +23 tax)

Is that the best money factor and residual available? I have excellent credit.

How are people getting the deals for $670?

    Thanks so much!!!

    Thanks!

Hi needhelp27. The easiest way to tell how good a deal this is is to look at this car's selling price in relation to its MSRP. The selling prices of leased vehicles are negotiable, just as if you were paying cash for or financing them.

The easiest way to get a good deal on a leased vehicle is to shop around for the lowest possible selling price and then have the dealer that you decide to go with calculate your vehicle's monthly payment using its buy rate lease money factor.

Let us know what this car's MSRP and selling price are and I'm sure that either myself or another knowledgeable community member will gladly tell you what they think.

Thanks so much Car Man and Deals.
MSRP is $54,715 Sale Price is $51,800. (I will ask for a sale price of $51,300 since he said his price was $300 above invoice.)
The quoted money factor is .0028.
    No cap reduction.
An upfront charge of $570. (not sure what this is, maybe doc fee$499, plates$20)?
    Acquisition fee $995.
    10,000 miles
    36 months
    Appreciate any help.
Why would my money factor be .0028 when MB is offering .0024 and my credit is exceptional?
  • dealzonbenzesdealzonbenzes Member Posts: 5
They are marking up the money factor. The old standard rate was a .00280 but was recently reduced to .00240.

They are also marking up the bank fee. Mercedes charges 795.
  • katiebellkatiebell Member Posts: 6
Thankz dealz! So they can make money on the money factor. I thought that was just a set amount from the bank and did not know they could make money on it. Naive of me,I guess!
I am coming up with a figure of $730 plus $22 tax using the .0024 money factor and a $51246 sale price. Sound about right?
Would also like to get floor mats and the Maintenance Plan for that. Is that reasonable? Also thinking of waiting til December to see if the lease rate gets subsidized, think it will?
Thanks again, I greatly appreciate all help and explanations!
  • katiebellkatiebell Member Posts: 6
A few questions. Sorry if they are basic!

    2011 Mercedes E350

MSRP is $54,715 Sale Price is $51,800. (I will ask for a sale price of $51,300 since he said his price was $300 above invoice.)
The quoted money factor is .0028.
    No cap reduction.
An upfront charge of $570. (not sure what this is, maybe doc fee$499, plates$20)?
    Acquisition fee $995.
    10,000 miles
    36 months
    Excellent credit.

So, dealz said the money factor should be .0024. Is this negotiable? Will it decrease in December?

Why is the money factor on a c300 .00116? Can I negotiate this rate for the E350?

I am coming up with a figure of $730 plus $22 tax using the .0024 money factor and a $51246 sale price. Is this correct? Is this a good deal?

Do you think I can get car mats and the maintenance plan thrown in for that amount?

    Thanks Car Man!

It's good but you can do better... New Jersey dealers charge high doc fees - all profit! They also charge more for the Bank Fee - again all extra profit. Assuming you don't qualify for any Fleet discounts - over 10,000 companies qualify; check to see if yours is one of them... You should be able to get $582.65 per month with $1,377.42 (bank fee $795 and first month $582) out of pocket plus DMV. DMV shouldn't be more than $250 to $300 (brings you to $1,677.00 out of pocket). M.S.R.P. of $57,495.00 and selling price of $48,959.00. Thats 12k miles per year and 24 month lease. Total savings from your quote of $1,458.00! ($450 on the out of pocket and $1,008.00 on monthly payments) Make the drive to a New York dealer if you have to... its worth the savings. Don't forget to take the maintenance package offered now through Mercedes for only $9.56 per month extra! Let me know how you make out.... I got mine 2 weeks ago - found out all the car buying secrets from www.simplifiedcarbuying.com
  • mbslsamgmbslsamg Member Posts: 6
Thanks benz2779 for your response. I do qualify for fleet discount and the numbers you mention for Bank Fee, Acq Fee are the same as quoted. The differences are Luxury Tax of $204, DMV $256 and Dealer Doc Fee $250 this brings the total to $1504. State Tax is $1130 if payed full upfront then for a 24m/15K per year monthly lease is $630 for a MSRP: $59024 (P01, 4Matic, Wheel Package and Pre-paid Maintenance for 30K). What do you think?

WOW- almost seems to good to be true. I was quoted $680 (tax and maint included) for a $57,495 MSRP (plus the maint.) with $2375 down. Morris County/town NJ. You got 10,000 off MSRP? I can get loyalty as I am turning in an ML but what is EAB ?

I feel like I am so off of your...
$1,652.70 due at signing ($601.70 1st month, $795 bank fee, $256 plate) and $601.70 per month! (All taxes in payment)

I would sign up for that tomorrow!! What NJ dealer did you go through?

I am looking to lease a 2011 e550 4MATIC sedan with p1 package (in New Jersey). 10k miles a year for 36 months. The MSRP is $64,925. The money factor is 0.0024 and the residual is 58%. Does anybody have any ideas as to what kind of payment would be good on this vehicle? Also, I was doing some hunting and found out that you can lease pre-owned mercedes up to 8 years old. Does anybody know how a lease would be calculated on a pre-owned car?
