    KarKat,

That is a BIG NO on the worst deal, checkout socalgirl deal on the previous messages, that is a good deal....

Tell this dealer 'no way jose' & that he is insulting you for pricing it so horribly!
  • puripuri Member Posts: 19
this is really bad... i just leased a 2013 with P01 with MSRP of 60660 and with 1900 at inception (incl first month), i ended up with 589/month...
yes i had a benz earlier so there was some incentive built in... but you should be able to get the same/similar deal. I am in the east coast.
  • robertw477robertw477 Member Posts: 188
That is a horrible deal. From prices I have seen here and from a quote I got on a E250 with P1. First rule- never ever do a cap cost reduction on a car (its a scam) Sometimes a lease like that is called a fleece.

I think you ty some other dealers or a lease broker.

    Dear Ratlow,
I am also in the market to buy a 2013 Cabrio....do you mind sharing what packages were included and what was the MSRP and finally what did you pay over the invoice of the car? :confuse:
What incentives were available? I would really appreciate your input!
How do you like the car? Thanks again!

$44997.94 is the price the cap came to
  • socalgirl1socalgirl1 Member Posts: 23
MSRP was $57905, blk/blk, P1 Pkg, 18" AMG wheel and steering wheel pkg, keyless go, rear spoiler, comfort box, I think that is it! The cap was brought down to $47999.94.
  • socalgirl1socalgirl1 Member Posts: 23
Sorry it was $47999.94 not the previous one. Got my #'s confused, hahaha

Rob, many miles per year on the lease you negotiated?
  • rrw4rrw4 Member Posts: 3
Are dealers charging Regional advertising fees on leases and how much is it?
  • doubleoo6doubleoo6 Member Posts: 52
    Socalgirl,

Quick question, I spoke to dealer today and she said impossible on the pricing you got....of course I am not surprised by her response.

Although is a $61,700 MSRP invoice $58,000 after winter event she is giving it to me at $54,000

    monthly is $605

what do you think the pricing should be?

On a side note, I know it's a long shot, but would it be possible to share a copy of your contract WITHOUT your name and personal information, meaning you can block it out, this salesperson said ask your friend for a copy of the contract...

I told her she is crazy for asking me to ask you, but I figured I would at least try....

Either way, would love your feedback as this winter event will last only for 2-3 more days....

    Th@nks a million.

    Dear all,

I am also in the market to buy a 2013 E350 Cabrio....with the premium 2, appearance package, spoiler, lane assist, parktronic, wood trim etc. The MSRP comes to $71,740.
Invoice is $67,740. Offer is 65K and for a 36mo lease with 10K miles per year with zero down, 3 year maintenance inclded the monthly payment is $1060 with tile and taxes included per state requirement. Greetings steadydeals. Mercedes-Benz Financial's November buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36-month lease of a 2013 E350 Sedan with 15,000 miles per year are .00121 and 58% for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

The numbers for an otherwise identical lease of a '13 E350 Coupe are .00160 and 58%.

Mercedes-Benz is providing $4,000 Winter Event Certificates on the '13 E-Class right now.

Can anyone recommend a good Mercedes dealer to work with in the Dallas Fort Worth area. I thought I had a lease deal worked out for a E350 at Invoice + plus $1,000 - $4,000 holiday credit. Actually, I can still get this deal, but they have now added a $795 acquisition fee (as they described it "a doing business fee" or as I describe it additional profit above the $1,000 offer). Additionally, instead of full tax credits, they still have me paying about $750 of taxes. I have always received full tax credits on a lease in Texas so this caught me a little surprised. Bottom line, these two charges add about $42/month to a 36 month lease.

Also, does anyone know when the $4,000 Holiday credit ends?
  • freeze14freeze14 Member Posts: 4
For full disclosure, I am since learned that the $795 acquisition fee may not be nonnegotiable and is charged by MB Financial. If I can get full tax credits, this may turn into a good. Do you guys think invoice + $1000 - $4,000 is a good deal? Thanks.

socalgirl, can you work me a deal on C 300 or E350. Email for further discussion.
    Thanks
  • doubleoo6doubleoo6 Member Posts: 52
    Xmona,

what is MSRP? Residual %? I guess the price you are getting it for is $55,754?

Did rough calculations BASED on MSRP $61,765 & Negotiated Invoice Price of $55,754 & Residual of 0.61%(or 61%)

36 month Lease would be $615 + tax ($43) Total Monthly=$658. So shoot for $650....

Cap cost you were given, try to bring it down to $54,000....

Suggestion take a 24 month/12K would be a lot cheaper.....

If anyone else is reading this, feel free to correct me if I am wrong, especially 'SoCalGirl' or 'Carman'.....

    Wishing all a Happy Holidays!

i'm in northern n.j. and looking for a lease deal on e550 4matic with 15K miles. 3 year or 39 months. the sticker of these cars i understand are around $60,000.00. Is there a chance to get a lease deal at around $625- $630 a month with no money down and just acquistion fee, motor vehicle, etc. etc at signing?
    any thoughts?
  • doubleoo6doubleoo6 Member Posts: 52
    Devlsfn1,

    It's E5504Matic & 15Kmiles, highly unlikely especially with 39Months, it depreciates quite a bit......

It all also depends on Msrp, Invoice, negotiated invoice price, residual value(should be 61%) & Money Factor (should be .00121)

BUT please if it's not too much trouble do share the outcome, as I am looking to close on it this week myself in NorthernNJ as well......

    Thanks.

Your opinion, what should the price range be??? 650,675, or 700 a month?
  • ajkajk Member Posts: 13
I am in North Jersey and just bought a new E350 ematic. I don't know what the money factors and residuals are for December (I'm guessing they won't change from last month) but based on Nov numbers for a 36 mo/15K mile lease you should be able to negotiate something around $600/month or less.

The winter event will get you $4K off of msrp right of the bat and you can negotiate another $4K+ from the dealer. It seems like many dealers are quickly taking $6k off msrp after you start negotiating and they then try to close the deal. I suggest you shop around and keep pressing them for a bigger discount - they have room.

I bought a 2013 convertible 4 days ago and was told the winter event discount was $2000. The car was delivered Thursday. When did the discount change to $4000 and does it apply to convertibles.
I paid invoice including the 2000 winter discount and assumed the dealer was making a healthy 2000
profit, however if the salesman was not telling the truth about the discount being 2000 and in fact it was 4000. I intend to have the dealer do the right thing if the salesman had "misinformed" me.

    Comments and information appreciated
  • mickey77mickey77 Member Posts: 10
On Nov 26 I signed a purchase order for an E 350 Cab in NYC. During the negotiation I asked what the Winter event discount was and told it was 2000 by the sales person. I told him the TMV was about 4800 below MSRP and approximated invoice. He told me the 2000 winter event discount was included in the TMV. Assuming these facts were correct I assumed the dealer was making 2000 profit which I thought was more than fair on a car that had an MSRP of 71,000.

I took delivery of the car on Thursday night and yesterday saw that the winter event discount was now or before(?) 4,000. I would like to know if/when the winter discount changed. If the sales person has not given me the correct information I plan to have the dealership make good. Obviously I would not have made this deal if I know the winter discount was 4000 and don't now believe that the discount is included in the TMV.

Please let me know if I have been treated in an honest way. Thoughts....

    Thanks
  • frogger97frogger97 Member Posts: 21
    Dear Mickey77,
Dont sweat! The $4000 discount promotion was for the E class sedans not the cabriolet....which qualifies for a 2000$ discount.
I just got mine on Friday btw!

For a 2013 E350 sedan you should have a payment in the $500 range with minimum drive off meaning 1st payment and DMV fees only.
  • mickey77mickey77 Member Posts: 10
    Dear Frogger,

    Thanks that makes things easier

Is the $4000 winter event over for the e class?
  • ajkajk Member Posts: 13
    mercedes dez,

Throwing out a monthly lease payment without details is not helpful to anyone. This board is meant for folks to exchange real market information that can help in our individual negotiations with dealers.

Yes, a monthly lease pmt of $500 is possible for a minimally optioned vehicle in a lower mileage lease than the original poster but that does not answer his original question.
  • mercedes_dezmercedes_dez Member Posts: 8
The $500 payment in on an E350 with premium package p1' lane tracking package, and sports
    The drive was $1000
Nothing else would be due at lease signing
    24 month lease
    10000 miles per year

    I hope that helps

coming out of a ML350 lease and planning to get a 2013 e350 4matic. Options include: Premium 1, Metallic paint...quoted $638 plus an additional $10 for maintanence (not sure I need this)...this is with NY taxes in the payment. Upfront would include 1st month, bank fee, dmv fees. This is for 24 months/ 15,000 miles...does this sound right?

The MB USA website shows the Winter Event through December 31. It does not mention dollar amounts.
  • dewarsandsodadewarsandsoda Member Posts: 207
    Hi Mowgli04,
Myself and others would be happy to assist, so please furnish the key inputs: MSRP, Negotiated Sales Price, RV, and MF. Always remember that a lease is based on only three variables: Negotiated sales price; Residual Value (RV); and Money Factor (MF).

RV is a fixed percentage set by the MBFS. There is a base rate MF that is suggested by MBFS as well but dealers have the latitude to mark it up as another source of profit. Both RV and MF are based on your model, lease term, and mileage per year.

The calculations would be as follows,
Monthly Depreciation = (Cap Cost - (RV*MSRP))/Lease Term
Monthly Interest Charges = (Cap Cost + RV*MSRP)*MF
Monthly Lease (pre tax) = Monthly Depreciation + Monthly Interest Charges
*N.B.: Cap Cost assumes Negotiated Sales Price + Acquisition fee only (i.e., no cap cost reduction or $0 down)

    My unsolicited advice follows below,
    - Don't do cap cost reduction (i.e., make $0) down. All that matters is the total money that you expend over the lease term so don't be deceived by a 'low' monthly payment
    - Negotiate the sales price and ensure that you are getting any incentives such as Conquest, etc.
    - Consider Multiple Sec Deposits (MSD) to reduce the MF. However, if the MF offered is promotional, MBFS may require you to use a higher MF off of which to assess MSD.

    Cheers!

    Mercedes_dez,

Socalgirl spoke highly about your dealership....On that note, I'd like to trouble you for a question,

Winter Event & Fleet Program certificate can it be combined? Because I am hearing different answers but no confirmation on it?

Basically, Winter event is for Mass Market consumers and my firm has worked out a deal with MBFS Fleet to give us additional off the negotiated price.....

Don't worry it won't be used against a purchase at your dealership, I am in east coast so need your expertise to close on a deal this week.....

    Thank you very much.

Need help on below lease numbers:

E350 4Matic Coupe (which no dealers have in stock god knows why)
P1, Lane tracking, rear spoiler, appearance package, etc.
    MSRP $59,085
    Invoice $55053
MF ???? (anyone has the list of MF?)
    term 24 months
    12,000miles a year

Winter Event $2,000 (coupe) or $4,000 (sedan) & can Fleet Program $2,500 be combined?

    thanks.

    dewarsandsoda or car_man,

can you guys please share what is the MF, RV for 24 month E350 sedan 10/year? Thank you.
  • mowgli04mowgli04 Member Posts: 3
Thanks so much...here is the info:

    MF .00121
    RV: 69% of 41134
    SP: 52503
    MSRP: $59615

deal is $544 per month as mentioned previously...24 months. Fair deal?
  • dewarsandsodadewarsandsoda Member Posts: 207
    Hello,
Assuming a $795 acquisition fee and $0 down, I arrived at the following,
    Cap Cost = 53298
    Monthly Depreciation = 507
    Monthly Interest Charges = 114
    Monthly Payment (pre-tax) = 621

If you are being offered $544/month with $0 down, then it seems like a very good deal as the numbers that you furnished don't result in $544. Perhaps you are doing autopay and MSD which would reduce the MF and monthly interest charges.

    Cheers!
  • dewarsandsodadewarsandsoda Member Posts: 207
Carman should be able to provide the RV and MF for the model and lease term as I source them from Carman and check against what is quoted by the dealer.

    Cheers!
  • doubleoo6doubleoo6 Member Posts: 52
Sure would be great to get a copy of it, how do we do it? I can share my fax # tomorrow?

I am meeting dealer tomorrow evening....great timing
  • msc5msc5 Member Posts: 25
Can someone please post the MF and RV for both and E350 sedan and E350 coupe for 12,000 miles for 24 months and 36 month leases?

Also, can you give these numbers for the C model sedan and coupe as well for 12,000 miles for 24 month and 36 month leases.

I currently have an E350 sedan and can get out of the lease (only 4 months left) early to get another MB. Trying to see if this is worth it this month given the $2000 and $4000 winter event money.
    Thanks, MSC
