Can someone tell me if this is a good deal. 2009 E350 RWD White with Pano roof, p1 package and Sport package.

    3 years 12k a year
Only first month and Registration up front, EVERYTHING ROLLED INTO PAYMENT
    585 Including tax (NY tax)
  • sunofny99sunofny99 Member Posts: 24
    Here are my Exact Numbers:

    Model - 2009 E350 RWD
    Terms - 3 Yr / 12k year
    MSRP – 57825
    Cap Cost - $40,432
    Residual 45%
    Mf .00165

Out of pocket - first month and registration
    Monthly - $585

I get a 4K discount through my employers fleet discount on top of the $10k factory to dealer incentive. Thats 14k total. Technically, i'm only getting 3,500 off MSRP without those discounts. Can I Do better? i Want 4 Matic but the numbers are much higher, at least thats what the dealer told me.

If you got what you wanted in terms of color, combo package, you did well. The inventory is thin with most of the popular combos gone - I know because I am looking.

The highest I saw was MSRP less 15,000 in Naples, FL with the other side of FL in Ft. Pierce less 18,000, but their inventory levels were very thin.

    Enjoy the car!

    Just back from vacation.
It's Pleasanton MBZ, sales name Bill Wallace.
10k incentive + 4k(if you join the MBZ prefered credit union to get the fleet discount)
+ difference between MSRP and Invoice, which should be around 19k discount.
    Hope this help.

Considering that's only a few bucks more that leasing a honda crv exl, with a cap cost of 25k -- you should be signing the papers now.

I have shopped a few dealers in NY/NJ and the best i have come up with is $565/mo for 36mo 12k/yr taxes included
$750 bank fee + 1st month + motor vehicle reg due at signing.

E350 Rear Wheel Drive Sport w/ P1 pkg MSRP was $57K

  • fladanfladan Member Posts: 8
Deal is done as of 430p et. I'm so happy to know after reading this thread that I got a really good deal.
    Like I said it was a 2009 e350 sport with p1 package
    black/black
1103 total out of pocket includes 1st month payment
    513 a month with tax
    36month lease/12k miles.
Name of dealership is Mercedes of Ft. Lauderdale.
Transaction was done over the phone and fax.
Just walked in and signed documents, did car inspection gave me a brief demo on my vehicle and was on my way.
Great experience, especially now that this forum considers me getting a good deal:)))

I see there are special lease deals popping up on new 2010 E350's. Does anyone know the money factor?
  • jayriderjayrider Member Posts: 3,602
Only 09's -- wait til next July for a deal on a 2010.
  • pensionpension Member Posts: 7
I have a deal to buy base 2009 E350(silver/black) for $41,800. 2.95 finance = $623 for 66months. I have no problem owning the car as I have owned 3 older Mercs with no problems. Is this a good deal?
  • cjones88cjones88 Member Posts: 23
I know there are huge dealer incentives to move the 2009's, but I was curious what the going money factor is on a 2010. Dealers in Atl appear to be dealing at $1,000 off MSRP already, and I believe I saw an ad for a $699/mo lease on a 2010 E350. Actually trying to find out the money factor so we can make a decision as to whether to buy for cash, lease, or finance, so if you know current money factor and residuals being used on 36 months leases at 12k miles/yr for the 2010, that would be helpful.
  • rbrrbr Member Posts: 113
The finance percent sounds good, but the purchase price sounds high unless that includes sales tax... note that their are others on this board and elsewhere posting prices including the P1 package for 38-39K w/o tax. I think you may be leaving a lot of money on the table.

Swapalease.com has 350's for lease through brokers in california and nyc for mid 500's. Zero down they say in ads. Check it out. May be bogus or may be true.
  • arod4arod4 Member Posts: 20
jayrider, thanks i will check out but if i remember correctly swapalease is company that tries to get ppl out of their leases....so buying used car, etc. just taking over someone else's lease payments.
  • kyfdxkyfdx Moderator Posts: 235,200
New car dealers and brokers advertise new car leases on Swapalease, as well...

Take their numbers with a big grain of salt, though.. until you get all the details..

Did you get a good deal? Be sure to come back and share!

Are there any in the LA area?

MBZ preferred credit unions that is.

Hi Car Man. My dealer in Los Angeles tells me that this program is not available to him.
  • marketmmarketm Member Posts: 8
That will not happen. sounds like something is missing

Don't expect ANYTHING better than this.... unless better incentives kick in after July31st
  • jk7jk7 Member Posts: 36
Although I didint;it get much help on my questions, I always learn something in these forums...

Leasecompare.com is the best place for MF and residual information.

I ended up leasing a black/black E-350 2009 with p1 package and maple trim. Drive off 2000, payment was 610/month. I shopped around several dealers in LA. May have gotten a better deal, but the dealer I ended up with is a 5 min walk from my home. This was 36 month, 15k/year since I drive a lot.

The car is heavenly. I have never driven such a nice car. Coming off a BMW, this is definitely more luxurious. I wouldn't have minded paying another 50/month.

My MF was .00165 and Residual 43% which I confirmed with several dealers. The only additional was 1000 doc and bank fee. I dont know if that is real, but hey they have to make some money too..

Good luck guys, whatever you pay you will not regret.. MBZ is really awesome

  • arod4arod4 Member Posts: 20
hi marketm, thanks for the feedback. actually check out fladan's post #828. he got that very same deal and was kind enough to give me his contact at our local dearlership.
**i spoke to that saleswoman today and she confirmed all those numbers!* crazy deal huh?
she tells me the biggest problem she has in offering me the same deal is the fact that the dealership doesnt have anymore new 2009's e350s on the lot. she says they are low on inventory even regionally and that a nationwide search is going to be tough to do in one day (because the current rebates end july 31st & new ones will likely come out on monday & no one knows what they are.)
I had one more dealership confirm this deal and they are working on trying to find my car...but she said same thing that everyone is having to beg, borrow and steal the last NEW 2009's in inventory around the country. so i'm keeping my fingers tightly crossed for this to happen!! :)

The ads from the dealers that look awsome haven't been updated. They were good sometime in the past but are no longer valid. Gee -- wonder why they leave the bait on the website?
  • frogger97frogger97 Member Posts: 21
    Thats a great deal!
So what did you negotiate the Selling Price down to?
Also what is the money factor that they used?

Sounds like a great deal! Can you provide details?
    Money factor, residual, sell price.

wow...congrats on an amazing deal. The best deal i was able to find in NY before the deal i got was 575 month with only first months down, so im happy with the 530 payment. I'm just learning the car and am very very pleased. These AMG rims and tires make the car in my opinion. AROD, did u get this deal in NY?
  • sunofny99sunofny99 Member Posts: 24
    Selling price was 38,700
    residual 45% i believe
    and MF .00165

sunofny99 thanks. i got my car in florida. i live in south florida but couldnt find any dealers here willing to do this deal..in fact all the shady sales people here told me it was a lie that it couldnt be done... anyhow, someone on edmunds recommended a ft.pierce, fl dealership and they were able to come through for me. (ft. pierce is about 2 hr drive from miami)....car is actually getting shipped from texas... inventory super low out here.. hope to get it mon or tuesday.

by the way, i think we were both able to get good deals b/c it was end of month...they are way more motivated to meet their numbers.. happy driving!

Call this guy Sunil Sethi at Mercedes-Benz of Anaheim. They still have a large inventory of 2009 Mercedes-Benz E 350s and they are giving huge discounts to move these cars to make room for the 2010s. He will ship right to your home or office. I just had them deliver a black / black E 350 to me and it was the best and most trouble free car transaction I've ever had. Sunil's direct number is (714) 685-6548.
