    Chase's October buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2011 Outback 2.5i Premium with 10,000 miles per year are .00190 and 59%, respectively.

    The numbers for an otherwise identical lease of a 2011 Outback 2.5i Limited are .00185 and 57%.

    the manufactures price is 25,720 the price of the lease car is 24,576 residual 14881
    and monthly payment 391 . Does this sound reasonable?

    Great information here. Complete novice to leasing and so LUCKY to have come across this. How is this lease:
    CO - Denver Metro area, 2011 Outback 2.5i Premium - CVT, All Weather Pkg, Pzev, Bumper/splashguard pkg. Invoice around 27k. 3k down, 36 mo @ 12k miles, buy option fixed at 15k - $305/mo?

    And, what are the current money factor and residuals?

    I don't know how to calculate the money factors so just curious what i could expect to get my monthly payment down to on one of the two models mentioned? I'm in So Cal. Term is either 36, 39, or 42 mo lease with about $800 down. So far was quoted $384 on 2.5i with $880 down. Is that good? Just seems very high to me on a car that is only $24k. I don't think the dealer discounted it very much either. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    $384 is high with $880 down. I had a quote of $390 on a 36 month 10,000 mile lease of a 2011 Outback 3.6R that was $32K sticker with nothing down. You'll need to provide a sale price to figure a lease payment. My buddy got a 2011 Outback 2.5i Premium $27,690 and his payment including 7% tax is $380 and change on a 36 month 15,000 mile lease with zero down.

    Welcome, lsequestion. I'm glad that you've enjoyed this discussion. Since you are new to leasing, you definitely should check out the following informative articles on the subject that are available here at Edmunds.com: 10 Steps to Leasing a New Car and Calculate Your Own Lease Payment.

    In short, the easiest way to get a good deal on a leased vehicle is to shop around for the lowest possible selling price and then have the dealer that you decide to go with calculate your vehicle's monthly payment using its buy rate lease money factor.

    You never mentioned what this car's selling price is. Looking at it is the easiest way to tell how good a deal this is. Let us know what that number is and I'm sure that either myself or another helpful community member will gladly tell you what they think.

    As far as this vehicle's lease program goes, Subaru's current 36 month, 12,000 mile per year buy rate lease money factor and residual value for the 2011 Outback 2.5i Premium are .00150 and 56%, respectively.

    Does Chase/Subaru differentiate between Nav/Non-Nav for lease rates? If so, how does the 2011 2.5i Limited w/Nav compare to w/o Nav at 12K miles for 36 months?

    I'm getting quotes in the ballpark of with 2500 down for 375/month including taxes for 42 months. I need 12K miles per year. Is this much too high?

    so this is my offer:
    2011 subaru 2.5i Limited outback all weather/moon roof leather. 36 months 15K miles
    trying to get a 300.00 per month pymnt, have been told to get this pymnt amount. The down pymnnt would be 6,333 (which I have) & a residual value of $16,101.80

    I am looking at leasing for business reasons, and considering the outback vs. the Toyota RAV4. The RAV4 has a decent lease deal that is lower than subaru, but I suspect the
    subaru is better in winter driving, one of the primary drivers for the lease. I have received
    the following quote and wished the forum's thoughts on it...

    2011 Subaru Outback 2.5i with CVT; no other options
    36 month/12,000 miles $351.47 a month with $2259.80 due at signing (MSRP $25,240, Selling price $23,974. Money Factor : .00205, Residual 56%)
    36 month/15,000 miles $357.97 a month with $2285.02 due at signing (everything the same except residual drops to 55% because of mileage)

    I'd pick the Subie for winter for sure. Our Sienna's VSC is too intrusive in snow, though it is FWD.

    The numbers for the other models that you mentioned are as follows: .00175 / 55% for the 3.6R Premium, .00165 / 54% for the 2.5i Limited, and .00150 / 56% for the 2.5i Premium.

    Subaru's 24 month lease program is not very attractive, so you probably don't want to go that route.

    I don't believe that Subaru is currently providing any cash incentives on leases of this car.

    I just got a quote for 2011 Outback 2.5i Premium auto w/all weather for $27,109 55% / $14,909.95 buyout @ 0.00155. 36 month / 15K for payment of $421.79 per month. I'm in Ulster County NY. Let me know how you do.

    I was just quoted a 42 mo 15k/yr lease on the Outback 2.5 limited with moon roof. Price 29,400 Suffolk COunty NY

    450/mo , 1st payment, DMV and bank fees down. He said 49% but didn't get the money factor.

    Is this good? What are the rates for a 36 vs. 42 15k lease?

    Can you confirm the March residual and MF for a 12k/36 month lease on a 2.5I limited?

    The dealer is saying is 52% and .0015, although I see you posted above that its 53% and .00125.

    Were trying to work this out before month end as our guaranteed trade in quote from subaru corporate expires on 3/31 and will likely drop for April.

    Hello,

    Is the acquisition fee the same for all cars leased with Subaru Motor Finance/Chase?

    I was quoted $895 for the acquisition fee in Erie County, NY.

    That is for an Impreza. Everything I read says Subaru's acq. fee is $595. Would it be lower for the Outback?

    :confuse: Help! I don't want to pay an extra $300 just so the dealer can make more money on the deal.

    Trying to negotiate a deal before the end of the month, but have never leased and am not sure if this is good or not. Help!! :confuse:

    Just got home from the dealership. Picked up a 2011 outback 2.5 premium, all weather package

    Msrp 27,499

    sale price 25,235

    money factor .00130

    residual 52%

    42 months 10,000 mi.

    dealer said I stole the car monthly payment is 355/mo. including taxes @ 8.25% I am pretty sure I ended up a couple hundred under invoice.

    Barber Subaru in Ventura Tom the sales manager was really great to work with!

    I am looking to lease an Outback (4cl Premium), but based on what people are putting in the thread it seems kind of expensive. Are the following better alternatives? (I live in Houston)

    1. Dealer willing to sell Outback at $1000 below invoice.

    2. Honda is advertising Pilot for $350/month for base model for 36 months, 12K miles per year, nothing down nothing for inception (bigger and more room - which are not big factors, but no AWD and not the best mileage).

    3. Honda is advertising Odyssey for same as #2 price and terms.

    4. Toyota Highlander also base model for $400/month 36 months, 12K per year.

    To me a car is a car, just want something safe with reasonable mileage. Wife already has a minivan so #3 is not the best option, but can live with it if the deal is that good.

    Your input is appreciated.

    Get something different, to meet different needs.

    If the van is not AWD, go with the Outback or an AWD Pilot/Highlander.

    That might help narrow it down.

    Outback will probably have the lowest operating costs - the fuel savings alone....

    We get lots of rain and snow, plus I end on driving on grass or mud once in a while, on camping trips and visits to orchards, stuff like that.

    As you know, all Subarus are AWD so it's included for the price you see, but you can't delete the option.

    I recently did an exploratory search for 2011 Subaru Outback 2.5 Limited for my wife. I received a lease price of $404 a month for 39 months/ 10K miles. The rate included remote starter and trailer hitch. I am assuming since he sensed that I was not going to do a deal that day, the lease rate was based very closely to MSRP price. I am getting closer to actually leasing the car and here is what I am looking for. A 2011 Outback Limited without Sunroof or Nav. 36/10K a month. I will negotiate remote starter and trailer hitch separately. What deal can I expect and how much off of MSRP can I expect the dealer to base the lease on.

    Hello, I was curious is the dealers have the ability to manipulate the residual value of a lease. I am looking at leasing a 2011 Outback Limited 2.5 and was told the MF was. .0080 with a 49% residual. This was on a 36 month 15k mile year lease. I would like to see if I could get a higher residual value to lower the monthly payment.

    Residual values are set by the lender and are not negotiable. You can accomplish the same thing, however, by negotiating a lower selling price.
