Only had time to glance at your post. Give me a few hours and I'll evaluate this deal for you.
I am looking at a very similar Audi program in the Cleveland area. I am very interested to read responses to your post. It sure appears to be a good deal. Let's see what others have to say.
Bottom line: Find the vehicle you like and here are the numbers to utilize to make your deal.
Buy rate - .00033 / residual 51% (add 1% if you add Audicare $590) / Based on 10k.
See how close to invoice you can get knowing that $500-$750 over on this vehicle is good. Do not make the cap reduction of $2999 stated in the lease. You should only pay drive offs. Somewhere in the $700 range (including tax) is more realistic and what you'll see on this particular model and trim level.

I see that you are on the West coast. You're in luck, Audi is currently providing $1,500 "due at signing assistance" on the '08 Q7 in its Western region. You should be able to use this incentive essentially as a down payment to reduce the capitalized cost of the Q7 that you want to lease.

Thank you,
NHman
2 questions, please
1) on a '08 Q7 3.6, 24 month lease, what is the residual & buy rate?
2) on a '08 Q7 4.2, 24 & 36 month lease, what is residual & buy rate? Does the $1,500 "due at signing assistance" still apply?
To follow up to the last message in the string, can you confirm the buy rate MF and residual for an 08 3.6 premium on a 36mo/12K lease? Also, do you know if they offer any incentive for previous Audi owners? I'm turning in my S4 next month.
Finally, do you think it's possible to get the Q7 at dealer cost or close to it?
Regards,
Charles
I do not represent Edmunds but I can say that the m.f. and residual for a Q7 3.6 Premium is .00033 and 50% based on 36 months/12k. I believe there is a loyalty rebate/discount from Audi. Price over invoice will depend on how the Q7 is selling in your area. I just ordered a Q7 4.2 Premium with some of the option packages and was able to negotiate $600 over invoice with the m.f. at .00085. The m.f. is the base rate for a 4.2 Premium.

NHman

With a 36 month lease it comes to $1,501.76 drive off fees (including first payment, acquisition fee and a few other small fees) and $867.07 per month plus tax. Audi money factor is .00075.
What you everyone’s thoughts?

I am in Dallas but looking at Q7 in So Cal since it has the configuration that I want. I am working with the dealer there and would have the car shipped. Would this still hold true and it is still available?
Thanks.
MF .000060 and Residual 48% (36 month 10K)
Are these March numbers?
this will drive down your monthly price compared to 48%
MF appears to be correct

I have started getting quotes close to $1000 below invoice!
There is currently $2000 Customer Cash/Rebate program.
At least in the Tri-State Area
are any other dealers matching them ?
Jack Daniels and Paul Miller match them
jack daniels has the largest inventory, about 80 Q7s,
I would think they are quite motivated to reduce their inventory.
Take care,
Charles
I'm at $1200 below invoice on 3.6 Premium. Not sure if I should pull the trigger.
I will still have about month on my old lease.
But I realize that in April numbers may change.
whatever works best for you.
gas prices are rising, Q7 inventories are rising,
not much good news on wall street,
so any deal you have in-hand today,
will most likely be available in april.
have your salesman shoot me an email,
just add aol.com to my screen name,
I am ready to buy before the end of the month,
maybe you can get something for the referral.
good luck

Antgonz and others - you can get much more off the MSRP.
I was invited into the Sales Manager's office directly today (forget about the salesman!) and offered coffee, mince pies etc!!!
OK, he asks, what do I want?. I was thinking $1500 below invoice (invoice = $53,377). The monthly figure came to $669. I said I was looking for (random thoughts at this time!) a monthly figure of $650. So he starts putting in figures into his lease worksheet on his computer in front of me.
First $52000, then $51,500, then $50,800 at which point the monthly lease hit $650.01). That was it. I put a deposit down there and then.
Wow, never had a sales manager call me into his office and simply generate a figure to meet my 'target'.
After this, I had a long chat with the manager for about half an hour - a really nice guy! If you want a Q7 NOW, he has 3 or 4 left and wants (NEEDS) to hit his quarter target befoe MONDAY 31st.
CARMAN:-
This is what i've just been offered.........
Now, my only issue is whether to go with a 27 or a 36 month lease ????
Please, please, please let me know before Saturday as I have to sign the lease for the car at that time....Much appreciated.
MSRP $56,825 plus Audicare = $57475 (3.6 Premium with 20in wheels, dvd nav, sunroof, convenience pack, and cold weather pack).
0 down other than Fees = $823.30 (acq fees, plate transfer, doc fees) plus first month upfront (see below).
12K miles p.a.
Adjusted Cap Cost = $50,800 inc Audicare (over $6,500 OFF the MSRP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Residual = 52% (36m) or 58% (27m)
MF = 0.00006
Lease term = 36 or 27 months
Payments Inc tax = $650 (36m) or 731.33 (27m)
What's the better deal?
Thanks once again to all at Edmunds !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The $1,500 die at signing assistance is still available on the '08 Q7, but it is a regional program that is only available in the Western U.S.

As far as this vehicle's selling price goes, I am not intimately familiar with what the market is like for it right now. If I was interested in one and I was in an area that has a decent level of competition, I personally would shoot for $500 to $1,000 over invoice and see what happens. Try stopping by the "Audi Q7 Prices Paid and Buying Experience" discussion to see how much other community members have reported paying for their Q7s lately.

Can you get back to me urgently on my deal (see my post March 27th)
I'd like to know what's best 27 or 36 month lease (figures for 30 month were the same as 27 month so won't bother with 30 months)
Thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dealer is Bill Cook Audi (part of the Suburban group).
Ask to speak with the sales manager direct (no names allowed by Edmunds?)
Good luck!!!
I drove the GL450 and ML350/500. The GL was nice, but the Audi interior was far superior, the MMI is great and the ride is very pleasant. It's a dash louder than I'd prefer (exhaust howl). Other than that, it's great.

I personally think that it should be at least 25c per mile less than similar car with no miles.
I'm already getting about $1000 of Invoice, but for car with 3K miles I should get even better discount in my opinion.
2. I have been offered 39 month lease and numbers look about $22 a month better.
Personally I think this will work for me and it adds only 3 month to the 36 month term. Any comments? Where did dealer get 39 month numbers?
Thanks in advance
Yep - did the deal. Took delivery last night.
I'm paying $731 (inc tax and Audicare) for a 27 month lease with 12K miles p.a. I believe that if everything is proportioned out, the lease will cost me about $20 extra per month over the 36 month rate. I can live with that condsidering that i'll be able to return the vehicle 9 months earlier.
MSRP, cap cost, MF, rediduals etc figures are as stated in my previous posts. Although, it's a moot point now, but what do you think of the deal anyways?

Are you on the west coast?
Incentive of 1500 is only available on the West Coast right now.
Can you tell us more about 1000 rebate?
Thanks
Is the $1000 rebate region specific and/or Q7 model specific?
