RX 330 made here or there?

  Look at the first letter of the VIN, J = Japan and 2 = Canada.
  
  2004 RX330 was made in Japan. I believe they shifted the production in Canada since the 2005 model year if I am correct.
  
  Only RX400h and few % of RX350 (Navigation with ML audio system) are made in Japan these days.

  I have a '05 RX330 and as far as I know ALL late model RX's are built in Canada. That's where my broker ordered it for me..
